What you do when you have a lot of snow?

One thing you can do when you have a lot of snow is spend time stamping. You can also play in the snow. Checking out the Winter Carnival statues at Michigan Technological University on Saturday. The theme was "Games You know built in snow."

Look for these pictured scrapbooked later this week. I am trying to decide if I will use "My Digital Studio" or traditional scrapbooking.

Sweetheart with a Pop-out Heart

I am into the insides of cards lately. Here is another fun inside for a Valentine's Day cards that pops out. I thought this was fun and pretty easy so I thought I would make a video showing how easy it is to make one. The Sweetheart set by Stampin' Up! works perfectly for this technique.

Another great part of this card is that you only need paper snips and no other special tools to make the inside special effect. The center of the heart is done with the Sale-A-Bration set Whimsical Words.

Pop-up Hearts From Love You Much

Here is the inside! This is the one card that is part of the Valentine Stamp Camp that coming up this week. I made this card using the Love You Much and Holiday Best stamp sets from Stampin' Up!. I like how the stamped hearts coordinate with the Heart To Heart punch. The row of hearts is designed to pop out and stand up when the card is opened.

Here is the front of the card. I decided to keep the front of the card simple because there is more work on the inside. I used the I {Love} Love wheel from Stampin' Up!'s Occasions catalog.

Here is the milk carton that was a make and take at a recent workshop that I held. The hostess asked to do the milk carton and I came up with this sample using Stampin' Up!'s Love Bandit and the Stampin' Around Wheel I {Love} Love.

Vintage Vogue Done in Rich Razzleberry

When Stampin' Up! offers a corresponding wheel I sometimes like it and occasionally purchase it. When I saw the Stampin' Around Wheel Very Vintage designed to go with the Vintage Vogue stamp set, I knew I wanted it right away. I think it adds a lot to projects made with the Vintage Vogue set.

I designed this card this card with colors from the Cottage Wall paper. That set of designer paper is so gorgeous. Look for more cards made with this combination.

Cool Kids Simply Scrapping by a Cool Kid!

Ok, I think it is ok that I call her a Cool Kid because it is my daughter. I wanted to see what a 9 year old would do with a Simply Scrappin' kit by Stampin' Up!, so I gave her a 6X6 linen album and one Cool Kids kit. Here are some of the pages she has done so far.

I like how all the pages are unified because the kit has coordinated colors in the die cuts, solid card stock and Designer paper. I did give her the Spiral punch to use too. This a great way to introduce kids to scrapbooking and create memories for later in life.

Fox & Friends Baby Card

The set Fox & Friends from Stampin' Up!'s Occasions catalog is so cute. I love all the little animals and I need a baby card for my new nephew so I decided to do a baby card. The dots are from the Dot, Dot, Dot stamp from the A La Carte section of the Occasions mini. I did use the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to line up the dots.

This card layout is based on one of the card sketches provided by Stampin' Up! in our demonstrator's newsletter. Stampin' Up! provides a lot of support in many ways and a fabulous newsletter full of ideas, tips and business information is one of them.

Well, I made one. It was actually very easy without a lot of complicated folds and I have already filmed a video with dimensions and directions, but I do not have time to edit it today.
