Yes, my babies are growing up! It was really hard watching my daughter get in a car with a boy and ride away with him! Then my son couldn't even see his date or take her to the dance. When we dropped him off a few minutes after the dance started she was till not there. I hope her parents didn't change their minds. If they did I would hope they would have called...they only live 2 doors away!
Anyway, I told my daughter I would have a few pages done before she ever got home and here they are!! I don't have one of her date and her done yet but I got hers and my sons while standing alone.
This page was done with my kit "Flawless" at you can see it HERE
She is just so beautiful! But then, i guess I am a little bias, lol

This one is our cat, Saber. After 2 years of thinking this cat was a she...turns out she is a he! Good thing we named him Saber because of his long fangs! He is a beautiful cat though! This page was made using my mini kit "Welcome Fall" You can see more of it HERE

Last but not least this is my youngest child. I LOVE this picture of him, the full size picture is better but I changed it to fit this layout ;) This was a free add-on mini kit by Newlife Dreams I got from her blog HERE

and I don't have a dress for my daughter yet! My son might have a suit he can wear but not too sure about that either. I guess I better get on the ball so they will not look like last year repeats! Boy, would I be the horrible Mom then. It's funny, or not so funny depending on how you look at it, but the moment my daughter turned old enough to date without an adult she seemed to find a guy that has his own car! Coincidence? You decide! Actually we have had him over a few times and he don't seem too bad, although he needs some practice on agreeing with me more often! Hopefully he will pick that up soon. The only thing I didn't appreciate about him is that when we told him we were Christians and invited him to our church, he didn't see that as a fine time to let us know that he is Mormon! OK, I won't sit and bash the Mormon beliefs because Christians love all men not just those who agree with what we believe BUT you think he would have let us know when I said OUTLOUD to him that it is important to us! Yes, I said that directly to him while he was making eye contact and everything! This would be why his dropped and he said "I don't know" when I asked him if he knew Jesus as his personal savior! Well it was just a bit shocking I guess because I have never had to deal with this situation before and this has all caught me off guard.

So anyway, i will get on to the scrappy good stuff!

It is a bitter sweet weekend for me. Let me explain...my kids are going back to school Monday. I know I should be jumping up and down celebrating the soon to be new found silence. But I am a little 2 sided on that deal. I like having my kids home most of the time and then other times it's ok to have the peace. Am I normal? Oh well, what is normal anyway, right? So it's back to school in my area which means hustle and bustle to get new clothes and supply lists bought and get other stuff turned in on time. We have to show proof of residence EVERY YEAR here where I live! AND, I have to do this at 3 different schools! I have 2 in high school, one starting junior high and one in elementary...yep, it's like that, lol OK, enough chatter and whining from me! Back to scrapping.
