noreply@blogger.com (tkbach) — Sat, 23 May 2009 20:12:00 +0000

Yeah, I know I haven't blogged in quite a while. But as you see I'm really quite busy!

rearranging furniture...

Helping with Laundry ...

putting away groceries ...

My stool ...

We need more water Dad! ...

Umm, I think we need more spaghetti too, Dad...

If I climb up here, then I could get up here somehow...

Oh yeah! Another lazy Sunday!

Mom, Dad, Sun and Sand.

What more does a kid need?!

There sure are a lot of beautiful places around our new home.

We had fun walking up and down the board walk in the picturesque town of Cambria, about 30 miles from our home.

Oh, my mother isn't Irish

And my father isn't too,

But today I feel as Irish

As the really Irish do.

For today I wear a shamrock

That is green in every way

And though I am Californian,

I am Irish -- for today!

My first shopping experience

noreply@blogger.com (tkbach) — Sun, 25 Jan 2009 17:47:00 +0000

Twas one sunny day, we were out for a spin.

It was mommy, daddy, paw paw and me with a grin.

We were all crammed up in my daddy's blue car

When all of sudden I heard noise from afar

Oh wait, it was just mommy and pawpaw all in excitement

'Bout seeing a WINCO, a shopping delightment.

So out of the car and into Winco we went

To explore every aisle as a family event.

Now once in the store there were white gleaming floors

There were towering shelves filled with cookies and smores.

Down pasta and pizza and cherry-coke aisles

Through dry goods and wet goods and sweets that bring smiles

There were aisles for medicines that make you real droggy

I even caught glimpse of a valentine's doggy.

Aisle by aisle we filled up our basket.

I checked once,

I checked twice and knew it was fantastic!

When out of the corner I spied with my eye

A nice big fluffy green looking guy.

I tugged and I pulled and I pulled and I tugged

but nay did it budge so I gave a big shrug,

Alas! I think I'll take this nice purple one

To end this nice day of shopping filled with lots of fun!

Yo, everabuddies! Huppi New Year!

Baby's First Christmas

A Christmas Poem

by Alice E. Chase

You have to hold him up to see

The angel on the Christmas tree.

And even though he's still too small

To know the meaning of it all

You watch his eyes reflect the glow

Of colored lights that come and go

And feel him quiver with delight

At every new and wondrous sight.

There's Santa with his jolly face

Beaming from the fireplace.

And from the stocking hanging there

Peeks a cuddly teddy bear.

Bright ornaments and candy canes --

Musical toy and wooden trains --

There's just no end to the delights

Spread out for him this night of nights!

He points and grins from ear to ear

And then he yawns - his bedtime's near!

Dad gives him a kiss and you tuck him away

To rest up for the fun of his first Christmas Day!

I'm 10 Months Now

noreply@blogger.com (tkbach) — Mon, 15 Dec 2008 18:23:00 +0000

I'm growing up so fast! Today I am 10 months old. I can practically drive!

So what can I do now ...

I've been practicing diligently on my walking. Everyday I take more and more steps. I'm up to 12 steps all by myself!
Mommy, Daddy and I have been practicing our signs so I can learn how to communicate with them. I think I'm getting some of them, but sometimes it's a lot easier to cry and scream to get what you want. You know what I mean?
I'm getting bigger and bigger. I need to wear 12 month old clothing now.
I love reading stories at bedtime and can turn the pages all by myself!
I love helping mommy and daddy reaarrange things around the house. I especially love placing things where I can reach them more easily. Like on the floor!
I also like to help daddy type on the ccccccccccccccccccccooooomputer!

Hide and Seek

Turkey Day 08

noreply@blogger.com (tkbach) — Thu, 27 Nov 2008 05:03:00 +0000

A Gobble, gobble, gobble day to you!

May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!
