After working my brain out on what to do with the header, I finally got it. I'm quite content with it... for now.

I still can't decide how to = finish this website's reconstruction. I'm challenging myself. I can't seem to get satisfied each time I change the template. I'm about to pull my hair out, just kidding.

Makeover For Me

I decided to give myself a makeover. No, not my physsical self but my blog. I got bored of the old look...

And so I did as you can see. I'm not quiet satisfied with it yet. It's a working progress. I find it quiet crowded... messy. I hope in a couple of days I'd be able to finish it. Wish me luck.

Centering Adsense Bar

So, are you like me who likes to have everything on my sidebar centered? But each time you add an "Adsense Bar" there is not an option for you to do that. Well folks, here's how you do it.

When you are on the Dashboard page, click on "Layout"...

Then click on "Edit HTML". This might be a scary place for some of you but don't let all the HTML coding intimidate you.

Once you are that page, click "Expand Widget Templates".

This is where you can center the "Adsense Widget" by adding a simple center code. Scroll down until you find the code as shown on the picture. You can do this to all the Adsense widget you add on your sidebar or after each post. Just look for the Adsense widget name, e.g. "Adsense1", "Adsense2"....

Now observe the code.

On this part, notice the bold line...

[b:widget id='AdSense1' locked='false' title='' type='AdSense']
[b:includable id='main']
[div class='widget-content'][data:adCode/]
[/div]

Add this code "align='center' after the [div class='widget-content']"... it should look like this after you add the code.

[/div]

That's it! Click "Save Template" and view your blog right after to see the change.

Three Country Cats

I can't tell you how I love her website! You know why? It's because it's dedicated to her cats. I so envy her. And to think I only want one and she got three! Hopefully my daughter will ask her Dad one day that she would like a pet cat, lol. Aren’t I bad? Use my daughter, shame on me, lol.

So when she asked me to redesign her Three Country Cats website, I could have not been happier. If you remember I also did her So Not Domestic website which she was really happy about the result.

Finally, after a couple of nights working on the design I got it all together and showed the preview. When she decided it was what she was looking for, I put it all together and here’s the new design.

Bloggy Finds found my design through SoNotDomestic when she joined her blog makeover contest. She contacted me personally and told me she wanted a new makeover for her blog. I gladly convey her, her wishes.

Working Progress on Baby Good Buys

I have been working on the design for BabyGoodBuys website for a while now. She likes something clean and simple with not much color on the design. Although it might sound simple, working with only four colors at hand… blue, gray, black and white… it’s not that simple at all. I had to work it around and made sure everything was blended correctly according to her preferences.

After a couple of weeks of working it around, I have finally got it to where she is satisfied and almost ready. Here’s the working progress…

I know, you might say it's so simple and not much color around. But hey, everybody has their preference. I hope she'll be satisfied and happy.

It's Been So Long

I miss posting here. Well, honestly I haven’t been doing a lot of designing lately. Currently I’m working on one.

www.BabyGoodBuys.com won the blog makeover at So Not Domestic. So the author and I are currently working on the designs and color. Speaking of color, she’s really not into many. She wants something simple and clean. So we’re both still on the process of finishing the design.

Another thing, I’m busy with my Etsy shop. If you look at the right hand side, there you’ll see some of the stuff that kept my hands busy for a while now. Like I said before, I can’t sit still so when I’m not designing, I design other things. Please when you get a chance, stop by and see what you think. You might like a thing or two for your little one or a gift perhaps.

Cooking at The Cook Mobile

Lalaine of The Cook Mobile has been my loyal customer since I started designing. I have made her several headers and logos over the past 10 months. Headers that are specifically made for each month of the year. This month, January, theme made "Winter".

Yes. I have a new store. The online web designing was not enough for me, lol.

I'm the kind who cannot sit still. When I'm not doing anything online like blogging or designing, I crochet. It got me started when I was pregnant with my first one. My mother-in-law was an excellent crafter and she taught me how.

These days, my hands are constantly working when I am watching television or idle times at work.

Over the holidays, I have decided to list my stuff online. I found an excellent store where I can do just that. Etsy. An excellent online store to list your handmade crafts. And so I have.

When you have time, please visit my store and look around. I have listed a few to start and will list some of my baby blankets this weekend.

I have been slacking on posting lately, which doesn't really help any of my to-do list. And with the holidays right around the corner, gotta finish the last Christmas shopping.

I got Christmas Eve off. Really helps when I have to clean my house before company comes over on Friday.

She's So Not Domestic

Lazy Housewife as she call herself found my design through Hip Mama Blog. So she contacted me and told me she wanted a new design for her website. I was so flattered, as always, to be trusted with the design.

She likes pink and kind of a retro wife on the header. After a night of thinking, I finally got it together. If you're curious, I always use a graphic and get my inspiration from that graphic and combine that from the client's requests then work it around.

So here is her new do...

Her Barefoot Journey

I've done Mira's My Barefoot Journey new design about a week ago. I have been meaning to post this but it has been in one of my to-do pile. I don't think that pile is going down at all. Deep sigh.

She wanted something more of monotone. More blue and a bit of accent colors here and there. She has one boy and I found a perfect graphic that fit to what she's looking for.

So here's what I've done.

Anyway, I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining all the time. I do sound like it, don't I.

Account Exceeded

Yes! I did! With Photobucket that is.

I had an email this morning from one of my client saying her site went totally crazy and can't see anything except logo from Photobucket saying my account exceeded beyond the free account. So I had to upgrade.

To all of you, my apologies. I would freak out too if open my site and can't see anything. It should be fixed now and running good. I'll work on keeping it that way.

Ok, back to work.

I am in the IT world, I should know better.

Well, with my constant hop from one website to the next and not paying attention to what exactly I’m doing. I wasn’t reading and a window popped up saying it was an update, I don’t what I was thinking, I clicked the darn thing and there it was my computer was flooded with virus. *&^%$#@%%!!!

I’m spending hours on something I shouldn’t have and just wasted my time. What is wrong with you Cathy? You should have known better, I told myself now like a hundred times.
So here I am working on different computer hoping my computer will be done reimaging itself here in a couple of minutes. Now I have to start over. *&^%$#%@!!!!

Ugh. Deep sigh.

Ok, I'm trying to keep up with my list and my inbox that seems to overflow each time I open it. If my inbox could talk, it's probably screaming and cursing at me at the same time. What can I do? Some emails just have to wait :(
