Every year from June to September the impressive whale shark, one of the largest fish that exists on the planet visit Cancun, Mexico.

The whale shark is a huge fish that can reach up to 18 meters long, and prefers to be in the warm waters of the Mexican Caribbean, since the conditions of this area promote the growth of plankton, which they are fed on.

Visiting Contoy, an island near Cancun, Mexico with one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and one of the most favorite tourist attractions during the summer, because you can see a lot of whale sharks that migrate to the waters of the Caribbean.

This tour guarantees you an absolutely secure environment and also the guides remain all the time next to you.

Whale Shark sightings are of Cancun tours that should not be missed. The journey begins with a boat trip in search of the areas where these giant animals are grouped. You can jump into the water to swim with them and be in contact with the flora and fauna of the region like, the giant mantas, sea turtles, dolphins and waterfowls.

You will also swim in a coral reef in the middle of the clear turquoise waters of the sea with a backdrop of white sand, full of colorful fish. It’s definitely a trip that you should enjoy if you’re on vacation in Cancun during the summer. It is a recommended tour for the whole family that includes transportation by boat, snorkeling equipment, lunch and refreshments. Remember bring a bathing suit, sunscreen biodegradable, waterproof camera, towel, hat, change of clothes, sun glasses and sandals.

A group of about 300 pioneers of Cancun, Mexico, gathered on April 20, 2010, at noon to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Cancun, one of the 10 top beach destinations in the world. And placed an offering on the monument to the “Pioneers.”

There must be around 200 to 300 pioneers which truly arrived to Cancun beaches 38 or 40 years ago. Many of them came as investors, others came to work and others have left some effort.

This type of meetings have not been done before, because there was not a real organization of the association to create a monument to the pioneers who have died, but it is intended to give force to this initiative from now on.

In the event, the pioneers recalled how Cancun beaches were, before suffering the rapid growth of population and urban infrastructure.

Cancun Construction began first with the Supermanzana 28, then it was made an extension to accommodate the main entrance of the hotel zone to build the first hotels in Cancun that were Casablanca, then the Plaza Camino Real and Caribbean.

Although growth has been so rapid, Cancun beaches, still offer many opportunities, and after 40 years it is still a favorite tourist destination to spend a nice vacation in Cancun.

Currently, the main concern is to have hotels, tours and attractions in Cancun seeking a sustainable development to repair the ecological damage where growth has been so rapid that has left a very important social backwardness due to the immense migration of people from different parts of Mexico and the world that have arrived and stayed to live in Cancun, Mexico.

To spend a vacation in Cancun, you just have to find best Cancun deals and call.
