Despite being an author and warned that I should avoid posting my political views to avoid suffering book sales, I am first and foremost an American concerned with the direction our country is headed. I think the following article says what needs to be said, and Americans need to get their heads out of their butts and listen. The problem is, people think talking about their viewpoints if politically incorrect and we certainly wouldn't want to make someone stop and think. I'm begging you...stop and think after you read this and decide if there is one word that isn't true. :)

Better late than never

Finally, Matt Patterson and Newsweek speak out about Obama. This is timely and tough. As many of you know, Newsweek has a reputation for being extremely liberal. The fact that their editor saw fit to print the following article about Obama and the one that appears in the latest Newsweek, makes this a truly amazing event, and a news story in and of itself. At last, the truth about our President and his agenda are starting to trickle through the “protective wall” built around him by the liberal media.

I Too Have Become Disillusioned.

Years from now, historians may regard the 2008 election of Barack Obama as an inscrutable and disturbing phenomenon, the result of a baffling breed of mass hysteria akin perhaps to the witch craze of the Middle Ages. How, they will wonder, did a man so devoid of professional accomplishment beguile so many into thinking he could manage the world's largest economy, direct the world's most powerful military, execute the world's most consequential job?

Imagine a future historian examining Obama's pre-presidential life: ushered into and through the Ivy League, despite unremarkable grades and test scores along the way; a cushy non-job as a "community organizer;" a brief career as a state legislator devoid of legislative achievement (and in fact nearly devoid of his attention, so often did he vote "present"); and finally an unaccomplished single term in the United States Senate, the entirety of which was devoted to his presidential ambitions.

He left no academic legacy in academia, authored no signature legislation as a legislator. And then there is the matter of his troubling associations: the white-hating, America-loathing preacher who for decades served as Obama's "spiritual mentor"; a real-life, actual terrorist who served as Obama's colleague and political sponsor. It is easy to imagine a future historian looking at it all and asking: how on Earth was such a man elected president?

Not content to wait for history, the incomparable Norman Podhoretz addressed the question recently in the Wall Street Journal: To be sure, no white candidate who had close associations with an outspoken hater of America like Jeremiah Wright and an unrepentant terrorist like Bill Ayers, would have lasted a single day. But because Mr. Obama was black, and therefore entitled in the eyes of liberal Dom to have hung out with protesters against various American injustices, even if they were a bit extreme, he was given a pass. Let that sink in: Obama was given a pass - held to a lower standard - because of the color of his skin.

Podhoretz continues: And in any case, what did such ancient history matter when he was also so articulate and elegant and (as he himself had said) "non-threatening," all of which gave him a fighting chance to become the first black president and thereby to lay the curse of racism to rest?

Podhoretz puts his finger, I think, on the animating pulse of the Obama phenomenon - affirmative action. Not in the legal sense, of course. But certainly in the motivating sentiment behind all affirmative action laws and regulations, which are designed primarily to make white people, and especially white liberals, feel good about themselves.

Unfortunately, minorities often suffer so that whites can pat themselves on the back. Liberals routinely admit minorities to schools for which they are not qualified, yet take no responsibility for the inevitable poor performance and high drop-out rates which follow. Liberals don't care if these minority students fail; liberals aren't around to witness the emotional devastation and deflated self-esteem resulting from the racist policy that is affirmative action. Yes, racist. Holding someone to a separate standard merely because of the color of his skin - that's affirmative action in a nutshell,and if that isn't racism, then nothing is.

And that is what America did to Obama. True, Obama himself was never troubled by his lack of achievements, but why would he be? As many have noted, Obama was told he was good enough for Columbia despite undistinguished grades at Occidental; he was told he was good enough for the US Senate despite a mediocre record in Illinois; he was told he was good enough to be president despite no record at all in the Senate. All his life, every step of the way, Obama was told he was good enough for the next step, in spite of ample evidence to the contrary.

What could this breed if not the sort of empty narcissism on display every time Obama speaks? In 2008, many who agreed that he lacked executive qualifications nonetheless raved about Obama's oratory skills, intellect, and cool character. Those people – conservatives included - ought now to be deeply embarrassed.

The man thinks and speaks in the hoariest of clichés, and that's when he has his Teleprompters in front of him; when the prompter is absent he can barely think or speak at all. Not one original idea has ever issued from his mouth - it's all warmed-over Marxism of the kind that has failed over and over again for 100 years.(An example is his 2012 campaign speeches which are almost word for word his 2008 speeches)

And what about his character? Obama is constantly blaming anything and everything else for his troubles.Bush did it; it was bad luck; I inherited this mess. Remember, he wanted the job, campaigned for the task. It is embarrassing to see a president so willing to advertise his own powerlessness, so comfortable with his own incompetence. (The other day he actually came out and said no one could have done anything to get our economy and country back on track.) But really, what were we to expect? The man has never been responsible for anything, so how do we expect him to act responsibly?

In short: our president is a small-minded man, with neither the temperament nor the intellect to handle his job. When you understand that, and only when you understand that, will the current erosion of liberty and prosperity make sense. It could not have gone otherwise with such a man in the Oval Office.

Another tidbit of information since the release of the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration report, confirming that the IRS targeted conservative groups such as "Tea Party, Patriot and 9/12" groups, among others, delaying their applications in some cases for over two years, asking highly "inappropriate" questions and delaying their approval process, leaving them in limbo as they fast tracked liberal applications..

Liberal billionaire George Soros has reported given $6.1 million to groups and organizations that pressured IRS to target conservatives non-profits.

While the first reported instances of extra IRS scrutiny for conservative groups began in Cincinnati in March of 2010, the attacks began to gain momentum on a national level soon after Soros-funded groups began firing off letters to the IRS in October of that year - following the Supreme Court's Citizens United ruling.

The talking points of these groups then bounced around a carefully created progressive "echo chamber," until they eventually made their way into established media outlets. Key IRS policy changes about how it investigated conservative groups took place soon after it received three separate letters sent by Soros-funded liberal organizations.

Several Soros-funded groups including the Campaign Legal Center, Democracy 21, the Center for Public Integrity, Mother Jones and Alternet have worked to pressure the IRS to target conservative nonprofit groups. The subsequent IRS investigation flagged more than 100 tea party-related applications for higher scrutiny, including applications that included the words "Tea Party" and "patriot."

The IRS scandal can be traced back to a series of letters that the liberal groups Campaign Legal Center (CLC) and Democracy 21 sent to the IRS back in 2010 and 2011. Both groups were funded by George's Soros's Open Society Foundations. The CLC received $677,000 and Democracy 21 got $365,000 from the Soros-backed foundation, according to the Foundation's 990 tax forms.

I took a risk and put this on my 'author's' blog. Usually when I mention anything political, I lose readers, but in this case, I didn't. Strange...a few years back, a woman I considered a very close friend wrote me off because I said something negative about Obama when he was first running for office. She saw him as the second coming of Lord, I suppose. A true friend wouldn't care if we didn't agree on everything, so I guess I didn't really lose anything, did I?

Ginger is Wearing a Different Hat Today!

I'm an author, but today I'm stepping away from the world of fiction writing where I can sweep myself away to a different era, civilization, and a place where everything has a happily-ever-after and addressing what has happened to the population's voice when it comes to government. I want changes, but I have no idea how to initiate them. I wonder why so many take the time to write scathing reviews about fictional works on Amazon, but when it comes to what's really important in life, no one seems to find the time or a way to speak out.

Rumors of siphoning money from Medicare trust to pay for Obamacare ran rampant during the campaign between the President and Romney. Who knows if that's true, but it made me wonder why Bernie Madoff went to prison for Ponzie scheming people out of millions when, if the rumor is true, what makes a difference between Bernie's actions and the Government infringing on money we've paid for through our jobs all these years? Even more, I wonder if government officials would be so quick to initiate Obamacare if they had to "endure" it. Aren't they Americans? Why are they exempt from something they can vote into our futures? My insurance increased this year, my coverage decreased, and my drug costs went up, too. When I asked my doctor about the future of the medical profession, he wasn't able to offer any assurance that things would improve...in fact doctors are leaving the profession and a shortage is sure to occur. I honestly don't want the government determining my health care needs.

What bothers me more is that I cannot figure out why we continue to re-elect the same stale politicians when what we want is hope and CHANGE. We at least have the good sense to allow two terms for the Commander-In-Chief, yet we continue to send back old-timers who are more interested in taking a side than considering the issues at hand. That line dividing our country (GOP/DEM) is killing us. Why don't we have term limits instead of electing people to a career position where they continue to pad their pockets and vote themselves raises. Did you know they recently received one? Did you? Only one member, and he happened to be a Republican, refused a raise during a time when most Americans are struggling to get by day-to-day. Now that's what I call noble. It's time to do away with party lines and become ONE NATION, indivisible, under GOD with liberty and justice for all!

Here's a list I got from the Internet that lists how long people have been in Office. I got it from Wikipedia, so I can only assume it's accurate although somewhat dated since I know some of the people listed have since died. No doubt, had they not passed, they would still be serving. I recall seeing Strom Thurmond carried in on a stretcher in order to cast a vote.

California and Nevada are two of the most financially devastated states and when it came time to vote, they put the same politicians right back into office. Does that make sense to anyone? I am neither Democrat or Republican....I chose candidates personally, not by a party affiliation. It's time to speak out, and this is my opportunity to do so and I took it.

Remember, the content reflects my opinions, and according to the constitution, at least for now, I'm still entitled to have a few. I'm putting away my soapbox and getting back to doing what I enjoy most...writing novels. There I can forget reality.

IF ONLY...

If we could amass a crowd like those waiting for the announcement of a new Pope, maybe we could do something about the mess in Washington. I'm not comparing the importance of the Pope to the Catholic people to our President, but since I don't share their faith, I was more focused on the thousands waiting in the rain to see white smoke.

I guess the after-life is more important to some than the here-and-now. God gave us brains so we could handle somethings ourselves and not drop everything in his lap. Why can't we amass a crowd like this to protest the undermining of our constitution? If only we could.

On second thought....I think President Obama anticipates something given the government's purchase of 1.6 billions rounds of ammunition and armored vehicles for use here in the US.

Who's The Racist?

For those of you who slept through World History 101 here is a condensed version.

Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter.

The two most important events in all of history were:

1. The invention of beer, and

2. The invention of the wheel.

The wheel was invented to get man to the beer, and the beer to the man.

These facts formed the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups:

1.. Liberals

2. Conservatives.

Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed.

Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to BBQ at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement.

Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly BBQ's and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement

Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. The rest became known as girlie-men.

Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy and group hugs, the evolution of the Hollywood actor, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide all the meat and beer that conservatives provided.

Over the years, Conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass.

Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare. Another interesting evolutionary side note: most liberal women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals.

Conservatives drink domestic beer. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, firemen, lumberjacks, construction workers, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives, athletes, golfers, and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.

Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America .. They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing.

Here ends today's lesson in world history.

It should be noted that a liberal may have a momentary urge to angrily respond to the above before forwarding it.

A conservative will simply laugh and be so convinced of the absolute truth of this history that it will be forwarded immediately to other true believers..

It's Time...

Yes, it's time for party lines to go away. Our country is divided by two entities who ask you to ignore the issues and choose which side of the line on which you intend to stand. Choices aren't based on what is right for the people, but rather the need to dominate and "show" the other side who's boss.

When the two-party system was created, it worked, but those days are long gone. Although some people dare to claim themselves as "independent", you'll never see one elected or taken seriously by the media because they just don't have the backing of big corporations and business interests to make them legitimate contenders...plus the media controls things these days.

Old timers refuse to look forward, and focus on the past...when unions served a purpose and helped improve out country. Now they seem to be running things...and into the ground. I've often felt if you put a party label on a dog turd and put it on the ballot, people would vote for it based on what party is represented. That might be loyalty, but c'mon folks, we need to stop and look at what works for all of us, not just a few.

I want to have faith in my government, feel protected, and promise my grandson that his tomorrow will be brighter than our today. The reality: everything the government runs is bankrupt. I offer as proof, the post office, Amtrak, the Veteran's Administration, and our dwindling Social Security. We've accepted the word "entitlement" to mean welfare (food stamps and money) for those who choose not to work and keep having children we must support. No! Entitlements are the things we've paid into and earned...care we're supposed to receive in our senior years. Veterans are due help for their service to the country, but are they getting it? If you answered yes, then ask yourself why you continually see commercials on TV asking for your contributions to Wounded Warriors. Then ask yourself what has happened to the Social Security Administration and why things are drastically changing. That money was earmarked for a special purpose, not for special needs of the government.

A friend of mine who lives in Alaska and has her own medical practice recently shared with me that 30% of the doctors in that state have already stopped accepting Medicare patients. That's pretty scary. Are we destined to be thrown out with yesterday's garbage, or will we finally grow a pair and stand up and say, "WE'VE HAD ENOUGH!

I'm Back and I Hope You'll Join Me

Risking having my house hit by a drone, I'm back to share my disgruntled outlook with the Obama administration and the President in general. I broke my own code today and posted a political rant on my regular blog, and I'm sure I'll lose some readers. There are people out there who would rather keep their heads in the sand than know the truth. I'll be sharing information and pokes and digs I find with you. The president is a joke, and I for one, don't know why America isn't scared to death. We're headed for financial ruin, we've already lost respect around the world, although he put his hand to the bible and swore to defend the constitution, he's hell-bent to change everything to fit his agenda.

I guess now I'll be labeled a racist, because every time someone disagrees with what's happening in Washington, someone plays the "race" card. Honestly, I wouldn't care if he was purple, pink, or orange...the man is an empty suit that someone with big bucks is manipulating. That's my opinion, and until he re-writes the constitution, I'm still entitled to freedom of speech. :)

Sinking Below the Poverty Level

Currently, the poverty threshold for the United States is an annual income of $22,314 for a family of four. I can't imagine living on that today. That was an income I earned in the 60s and 70s when I first married. My rent then was $75.00 per month, a car cost around $3000, and hamburger was twenty-nine cents a pound. Gasoline wars were prevalent, and fuel was sometimes as little as nineteen cents a gallon.

In whose mind can a family of four survive on such a pittance? Unless you live in a cardboard box or a shelter, rent is going to take the lion's share of that money, and food will take the rest. Where do utilities, clothing, personal items, shoes, and the always, elusive fund for future education come in? I guess getting one's hair done in a salon once in a while is out. How about haircuts for the men and boys? Gasoline to get to and from the grocery store? Car repairs? Insurance?

A survey, released on Tuesday by the advocacy group Wider Opportunities for Women (WOW), found that 45 percent of U.S. residents live in households that struggle to make ends meet. The Census Bureau reports that one out of every seven Americans is “living in poverty” in the United States. I think someone needs to seriously rethink what constitutes a fair wage, and to the new people, looking to get elected, how about remembering what a large percentage of our population need help. Yep, these people definitely need to be fined for not purchasing health insurance as mandated by Obamacare. What's wrong with this picture?

I’m going to go out on a limb here and take a wild shot at it…You’re all liberals aren’t you?

You went HIKING. Hiking is good. Hiking doesn’t leave a carbon footprint regardless of the amount of fossil fuel you burned to GET to your starting point. You shouldn’t be allowed to walk around the block without supervision. You could have gone for a walk in the park, or hiked on a trail in the mountains – but NOOOOOOOOO.

YOU MORONS!! You decided to go hiking along the border between Iran and Iraq . What exactly did you THINK was going to happen?

Did you think you were going to meet a bunch of Iraqi or Iranian hippy freaks and exchange wildflowers and maybe share some weed??

You didn’t go over there for some noble purpose like building a school or to provide medical services or even to help rebuild a road or a bridge. You went ‘hiking’ in a war zone next to a country that hates us.

Despite Rumors, I'm still alive...

I've neglected this blog for far too long. I think I stopped posting because my intense disapproval of our president has caused me to lose friends, people who follow my other blog, and a little bit of my sanity. But after listening to the evening news and hearing reports of his requirement that EVERYONE BUY health insurance by 2014 or face a fine, Ihad to come back and blog or scream. Does he really think people don't have health insurance by choice? If you aren't employed with benefits and this law is inacted, does the money miraculously appear? Just my share toward insurance through my retirement benefits is extremely expensive for someone on a fixed pension. According to the information below, small businesses are unable to afford to provide health benefits and are cancelling those in existence now.

If Obama's re-elected in 2012, this country will get exactly what it deserves, and I'm seriously thinking of defecting. Herman Cain, even with sexual allegations made against him, and Gov. Perry, with his memory lapse, can do a better job blindfolded than Obama can with both eyes open...and of course that's important for his teleprompter. The man might be a good human, but he's a lousy president.

Hey, B.O. (yep...great initials for something stinky), how about taking a long hard look at Medicare and fixing the problems that have bankrupted that system...plus the Veteran's Administration, and Social Security. More and more doctors are planning to stop accepting the government plan that we've all paid into our working lives. Is the answer more government-mandated medical care? Just think of everything the gov. operates, the mess those programs are in, and ask yourself, do you want Washington making your health decisions for you? They can't even agree on a pee break. Remember, those voted for American to have Obamacare are exempt from the plan themselves. What happened to the old saying, "What good for the goose...?"

Fix Our Government

Boy, I have neglected this blog. Can't believe it's been almost three months since I posted. Of course having eye surgery twice in December kept me away from the computer for a bit. I received this as an email today and it makes perfect sense to me. Where else can you get elected to a career or vote to raise your own pay? Let's see...hmm, should I vote yes to give me more money or not? What person is not going to up his wages even when the rest of the country is struggling.

Congressional Term Limits

The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in
1971...before computers, before e-mail, before cell phones, etc.

Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land...all because of public pressure.

I'm asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise.

In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one idea that really should be passed around.

Congressional Reform Act of 2011

1. Term Limits.

12 years only, one of the possible options below ..

A. Two Six-year Senate terms

B. Six Two-year House terms

C. One Six-year Senate term and three Two-Year House term

2. No Tenure / No Pension.

A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.

3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.

All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people.

4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

6. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

7. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

8. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective immediately.

The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.

The Jews are NOT promoting brainwashing children in military training camps, teaching them how to blow themselves up and cause maximum deaths of Jews and other non-Muslims. Good news! A Federal court has ruled that most Americans have standing to challenge the Constitutionality of Obamacare. The District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan recently ruled that Americans who “reorganize their affairs,” and “forego certain spending today, so they will have the funds to pay for health insurance when the individual mandate takes effect in 2014,” have standing. This is most Americans.

The Obama administration filed a notice in our lawsuit last week acknowledging the Michigan court’s ruling and its relevance to our case. However, their notice reemphasized their assertion that Congress has authority to enact Obamacare.

Today we filed a response to that notice. Our response demonstrates, once again, that our lawsuit against Obamacare is unique. Rather than arguing that current precedent limits Congressional authority, we used this opportunity to reiterate and emphasize the argument that we have been making since the beginning: Current precedent leaves zero limitations on Congressional authority, and that violates the clear meaning of the Constitution. Obamacare is simply the latest in a long line of Federal legislation that increasingly intrudes upon personal rights. If the courts don’t overturn the flawed precedent currently in place, Obamacare will not be the end of these intrusions. Ours is the only lawsuit against Obamacare that is making this point in this way. Ours is the only lawsuit that explicitly acknowledges that Congress currently has no limits on its authority, and argues that this must change. Our first appearance in court for the Obamacare Class Action lawsuit has been scheduled. The Eastern District of Tennessee noticed all parties that a scheduling conference has been set for November 19th in Chattanooga, Tennessee. While a scheduling conference is usually routine, this one will likely become a discussion of the pending motions. The judge from the Eastern District of Tennessee now has all the briefs related to our motion for preliminary injunction and to the defendants’ motion to dismiss. If a separate hearing date is not set before the November 19th scheduling conference, we’d like to encourage everyone that can be present for the scheduling conference to be there. We will update you further as that date approaches.

We are excited that a Federal judge now has the opportunity to make history. It only takes one brave judge to re-establish our Constitutional Republic by overturning Wickard v. Filburn.

Obamacare Is The Reason For A 47 Percent Health Insurance Rate Hike By Anthem

The state's largest insurer has been approved to raise health premium rates by 41 percent to 47 percent for some of its policies sold to individual buyers, in the largest price hikes yet seen in Connecticut since the adoption of national health care reform.

For all of its individual market plans, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield has received approval to raise rates by at least 19 percent -- including a range of 30 percent to 44 percent for the brand of plans in the individual market that was most popular in 2009, Century Preferred.

The reason for the increases is the new federal health reform mandates, according to Anthem and the state Department of Insurance, which is defending its approval against charges by Attorney General Richard Blumenthal. Those reforms took effect Sept. 23.

The very first comment after the article, says it all.

So the "Affordable" Health Care Act is hurting affordability by up to 47%?

Connecticut is just latest in a long line of "learning what is in the bill after it passed" .

Recent news shows that Colorado is raising rates in Colorado, ending sales of child-only policies and blaming their actions in part on the federal health reform law. (source)

Michigan- Some health insurers in Southeast Michigan are beginning to charge higher premiums to employers who offer high-deductible employee health plans and then 'wrap' the plans by buying gap insurance or giving workers subsidies to cover the deductibles.

NYT reported that major insurance companies have stopped offering new child-only policies because under Obamacare it would be unprofitable.

WSJ:

Health insurers say they plan to raise premiums for some Americans as a direct result of the health overhaul in coming weeks, complicating Democrats' efforts to trumpet their signature achievement before the midterm elections.

The search engines are full of these articles and before people start screaming about those "nasty" insurance companies, businesses are not started with the goal of losing money and when laws are passed that that will cost a business their profits, those losses are always handed down to consumers.

It is called Capitalism.

Capitalism is an economic system in which the means of production are privately owned and operated for a private profit; decisions regarding supply, demand, price, distribution, and investments are made by private actors in the market rather than by central planning by the government; profit is distributed to owners who invest in businesses, and wages are paid to workers employed by businesses and companies.

The icing on this Obamacare cake is that while insurance companies are raising premiums, Obamacare also requires by threat of fines that you, the consumer, pay those prices and mandate that everyone spend those extra dollars to buy insurance.

Thank heavens a Florida judge has agreed to move forward with the lawsuits by 20 states arguing that mandate is not constitutional and that Congress does not have the right to force people to buy any product by virtue of simply being alive.

Judge Vinson disagreed. “It is not based on an activity that they make the choice to undertake,” he wrote. “It is based solely on citizenship and on being alive.”

'My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of the Iraq regime has been completed.

Since Congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete. This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces . This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now time to begin the reckoning.

Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short . The United Kingdom , Spain , Bulgaria , Australia , and Poland are some of the countries listed there.'

*NOTE FROM GINGER: This list would have most certainly included Israel, as they have been our allies for years. Our intrusion into their political issues with the Palestinians has truly demonstrated favoritism and delivered a very negative message to a nation we should be supporting.

Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases indefinitely. Tolerance

I'm usually a very tolerant person. I've tried to teach my children the same trait, and also instill in them that we are all created equal, but...there comes a time when tolerance isn't a virtue, more a task.

Why, of all the available land in the U.S. do the Muslims want to build a mosque at ground zero? No one is disputing their right to their religion, although I think we have bent over backwards for this one. We are just questioning the sense in establishing a mosque in the very place where the radical side of the religion caused the death of so many innocent people strictly because the Koran tells them to kill all who don't abide by the rules of their belief. I think this is the only religion that abdicates death as a punishment. Do I agree they should be allowed to build at ground zero? Hell NO!

This came in an email today, and I think this person (unknown to me) has the right idea. If we are going to be tolerant...then let's be tolerant to everyone.

I am appalled that so many of my friends are against the mosque near Ground Zero. We should allow it in order to promote tolerance.

I also propose that two gay nightclubs be opened next door to the mosque to promote tolerance in the mosque. We could call them "The Turban Cowboy" and "You Mecca Me Hot".

Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork and have an open barbeque with pork ribs and across the street a very daring lingerie store called " Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret.” And next door in flashing lights open an Adult Toy Shop. I think for the purpose of tolerance we should build accordingly around the Mosque.

While being questioned about Michelle Obama's vacation abroad with her daughter, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs had the balls to say, "She's a private citizen taking a vacation." Well, you know what? The taxpayers don't pick up the tab for the staff and servants who accompany Joe Blow and his family, but we certainly are for Ms. Obama. How dare her, when the economy is in the toilet, people are losing their homes and jobs, and prices of everything are escalating, take a glitzy vacation. It's a slap in the face of America.
