Computer Eye Strain - What is it and how to avoid it?

Computers are in our homes, at our work, whether they are used as a necessity or for entertainment they are simply everywhere. This is not a bad thing but consistent use of a computer can come with undesired side effects, namely eye strain. I know only too well the pain that can be encountered when your eyes simply need a rest from the strains of looking at a monitor for hours and hours everyday. The eye is like a muscle and like any other type of muscle in the body it needs resting, also when you stare at your monitor you blink less often which can contribute to eye strain..... read more

Learn to play any song on the piano with Synthesia and midi files

One day I decided I wanted to learn to play the piano so I went out and bought a midi keyboard (a M-Audio Keystation 49e), a handful of piano for beginners books and a sustain pedal. A year on and I can proudly say I can't play a thing, the reason being that learning to play the piano (for me anyway) is in reality very boring and time consuming. I've always just wanted the ability to play songs I like and not really intersted in the science of piano playing..... read more

Battlefield 2 - The best game on the planet?

I have to admit, I'm not really much of a computer game sort of guy, not because I don't enjoy them but simply because I think life's too short to be spending hours a night in front of a computer! There is however one exception to the rules and that is Battlefield 2, for those of you who haven't heard of this game it is a first person shooter set in modern times with modern weapons and vehicles..... read more

Worcester Sauce Tangy Twiglets by Jacobs - Please bring them back

We at My Marketing Assistant LOVE our crisps, a few of our favourites are Pickled Onion Monster Munch, Smoked Ham and Pickle Brannigans, Prawn Cocktail, basically anything other than Ready Salted. Sitting at the top of this very large list of favourites would be Worcester Sauce Tangy Twiglets, they're not only healthier as they have been baked rather than fried, but each little twiglet stick would create a zesty explosion in your mouth.

Unfortunately, due to unpopularity and failing sales, Jacobs decided to discontinue this flavour of Marmite, in a word... gutted!.... read more

I've been using Dreamweaver for many years now and it's always been my favourite web development application, never have I felt the need to change over to one of the many other WYSIWYG editors out there. I believe this is due in part to the fact I have never had a problem using it... until today..... read more
