What I most liked about this episode was that Nikhil stepped it up. Morons need to be put down, no matter how much you are trying to cater to a larger mass by not saying fuck as often as you did couple years back. And it is as I said always a pleasure to watch. I guess it’s that guilty pleasure that got people to tune in over the previous years and is exactly what was missing from the previous two episodes. The only reason for me to give up on the show would be if in targeting mass it sold out and became a watered down version of itself. The first two episodes had me worried but tonight’s was a step up.

Also, I thought giving Sahukar his space to do his thing with the brief push-up segment was clever. Two ways, one, it defined clearly what Sahukar’s role was in the show – play funnyman, attract and sustain people who tune in for jokes. Two, it was a new spin on the redundant segment where contestants are made to do or compete in a push up contest. As a judge though, and I will reiterate this, Sahukar inherently lightens the mood of the room which in turn makes Nikhil more relaxed and easy going. When he is left alone, he makes bimbos cry by shoving their blatant stupidity right in their faces (which btw is the guiltiest of all pleasures) Psst… didn’t the previews show one audition where Nikhil blew over about pregnancy and masturbation? Oh wait…

As for the contestants, the hacker guy wasn't kidding, the Roa7ies website is insecure. So could be all the other sites hosted on mtvindia.com, feel better about registering for Splitsvilla and the VJ Hunt? :P Let me know if you need to spam the Digital Team with hate mail. Hell, I'll even give you phone numbers. Gaali do saalon ko! :D As for the guy himself, I think MTV could use hiring him on the Digital Team even if he fails as a Roadie.

And now for the paragraph on Yashita... yay!

I'm glad someone heard me last week and mentioned that she is an RBG product after the winner wasn't acknowledged. And the interview was exactly as I had expected it to be, enough sex to please the first row, enough content to keep the middle rows occupied and enough time for the corner seats to make out and get back to their TV. Bad metaphor but yeah. Oh, the things I could but shouldn't but absolutely cannot but still shouldn't say about her! The verdict on her should shut up the few mouths who think MTV gave Yashita the daughter-in-law treatment through RBG. In any case, the son left.

Go figure.

Bharti was charming and pleasant and will probably be the one Pranav will sigh over for the rest of the season if she makes it in. Too little was shown of Sahibjit's PI to make sense of his selection except that he looked the part and Priyanka completed the quota of having one troubled-past-breaking-down-into-tears-at-very-mention-of-said-past per episode. (Yes, ok... abusive husband, domestic violence... maybe, I should be a little more considerate) That wrapped up Delhi. Should more time have been devoted to the city's freaks? Yes. I wasn't the biggest fan of clubbing two cities together but its maybe because Bangalore didn't really give enough content for an entire episode. In which case, clubbing it with Kolkata made more sense.

Amongst the Bangalore contestants as much as a story it would be if that Ankur guy made something of his life and came back yet again next year, got a bye into the PI's because of said story, I wouldn't be too sure about selecting him because a) He didn't impress me all that much in last year's PI as well and b) The story's already been done last year.

I missed the PI of the one guy who did get selected thanks to a friend who kept me occupied asking me who Madhu Koda was and why he was on the Tickr. And she is a journo student. HA! Also, she doesnt think the girl in the Bingo ad is cute. Psycho, right? The guy who was given the jeans utaro task pissed me off enough with his attitude for me to not care so yeah.

As I pondered such useless mysteries of the universe, the judges gave us one more reason to make Roa7ies a soap saga as she was SELECTED!

Rahul Puri aka Hacker aka Mind Reading Baba: This guy had an obsession for hacking and could use his boyish charms to peep into several accounts. What we saw was a quick fire hacking session, a list of hacked accounts and some weird psychobabble of "social engineering". In typical Borat-ish fashion, I ask..."Whaaai?"

He talked, he guessed Nikhil was loyal in his marriage and his fixed eye movement could give the creeps at Zombieland a run for their money. But he was sincere, good in what he believed in, and an interesting mincemeat. SELECTED!

The comical element came from the Rishabh-Mannat jodi that might make it to "India's weirdest potential couple" but on Roa7ies it seemed to be all going wrong. Their tagline would read something like this. He was a flirt. He had the confidence. Confidence, which idiots have. She was a go-getter. She went too far as the judges asked her to get lost. Between the two of them, they made passes, blamed each other, spoke about tasks, sucked at them, didn't know a single county in Africa and made up for some of the most unintentionally funny moments in the show. With 75 push ups between them, the logic must have been there...Somewhere.

Rishabh, a self-confessed flirt.
Judges call the girl – Mannat, with whom he was flirting and decide to interview both of them at the same time. Both of them fail miserably in performing the head stand, but they were impressive when it came to doing push ups. Both of them got badly pwned by Nikhil though.

Characteristics: Rishabh : Mauritius is in Africa. Mannat : She can do more push ups than anyone else. Both of them confident but a bit dumb.

MTV Roadies 7 Contestant Mohit Malik

Mohit Malik the RBG 2 champ walked in next determined to move up to the next level. Wasn't all that hard for him. as his physical ability more than made up for the rest of the interview. He stood, he sat, he did push-ups and impressed all and sundry.

Well Cyrus had a pretty good time with him as well, he made him hop, skip and jump everywhere in the PI room

Mohit managed to impress the judges with his energy. Doing push ups in that Bunny suit wasn’t that easy!

Characteristics: A good performer as we all know, was hyper-active at 1:30am in the night. Possesses a true Roadie spirit.
