September is the best time of year for warm weather around the Bay Area, this is no exception in wine country up in Sonoma Valley.  I guess the secret is out because Rebecca and Matt had a destination wedding in Sonoma and it was done beautifully at the Viansa Winery in Sonoma.

We haven’t been the Sonoma in a while so its always nice to have a change of pace from the busy city.  The couple arrived late afternoon to prepare for the ceremony.  When they were ready Rebecca and Matt decided to have a first peek and it was a memorable moment that we were allowed to capture for them.

They had a beautiful sunset and closed the evening with touching words, dance, food and wine.  Thanks for allowing us to share this moment with you two.  Congrats again to you both.

It was great being back at Villa Montalvo.  We havent shot there in a few years and its nice to know the construction they had done was finally finished.  The place is still as beautiful as it ever was.  So was our lovely couple Stefanie and Eric.

It was a quaint ceremony with only close friends and family, followed by an outside reception in front of the mansion.  It was definitely a fun night filled with family and friends.  Congrats to Stefanie and Eric, here are the highlights!

It just so happens we get the strangest weather with these two.  A couple months ago, we did their engagement session and it was the windiest I’ve ever seen San Francisco.  The day of their wedding, we seemed to have gotten into the same situation again.  Nevertheless, we were still able to deliver great photos.

I’ve gotta say, working with everyone at the wedding was quite refreshing.  People had lots of energy and were great in front of the camera.  It made it such a great experience to do a wedding like this.  We again had the pleasure of working with Imperial Video Productions with Vinny, Mike and Sunny.  We seldom get to see such great same day edits and videos.

It was a great wedding, please enjoy the highlights.

Paola and Mikes wedding was hands down beautiful.  We had the pleasure of photographing some of the most famous places in San Francisco.  Namely St. Peter and Paul Church in Washington Square of San Francisco and the War Memorial Theater in the heart of the city. 

The day and evening was filled with joy, laughter.  With all the tourist looking around it felt like a royal wedding.  It was great seeing you two again.

Here it is a couple weeks later and the big day has come.  Deb and Gale get hitched at the Hotel Shattuck in Berkeley.   It was a long, joyous and emotional day for the couple, friends and family. 

So much detail was put into this wedding and I was amazed and awed by it.  Deb and Gale was such a greatful couple of all who participated.  Even praise to all the vendors who were in it was given by the couple.  Best of all we also got to work with Vinny and crew from Imperial Video again as they presented an amazing SDE.

Congrats again Deb and Gale.

Think of it.. we have crazy weather in San Francisco dont we?  This morning I was about to call Deb and Gale and reschedule this shoot cause it was actually raining in the morning!  Jesus must have risen today and cleared up the weather or something (easter joke get it?).  Regardless, these two came out looking like rock stars in these photos.  Not photogenic my ass! Look at these pictures, its like they do this everyday!

We started off around the Embarcadero area, Bay Bridge, ferry building, lots of good stuff.  We wrapped up with a fun shoot around Mission Bay, so it wasnt as busy and the area over there is starting to look beautiful with all the new developments.

Deb, Gale enjoy!  Im glad both of you had so much fun, because we did too!

Apple and Donald, I cant wait to shoot your wedding, you two are just a trip and so much fun to hang out with.  Aside picking the windiest day that San Francisco could be and almost getting run over by cars, the shoot was great!  We took some quick shots at the top of Russian Hill with the Transamerica pyramid and thats where the wind was the worst!

Imagine sitting on one of the highest peaks in San Francisco, with cable cars and cars driving by.  Boy this was hectic.  Amidst us playing frogger we got some great pics up there.  We moved onto Yerba Buena Park and got ourselves kicked out of the W hotel while we were at it! Yay us!

We then stopped at a chilly Union Square to finish off the evening.  Thanks for being such good sports.  Their wedding up next!

This was finally it for Shelley and Ahmad.  Months of planning, and anticipation all boiled down to this day and it sure payed off.  We started out the day at the Mariott in Livermore.  The bride and groom were both getting ready and as we started taking some of the prep shots, I thought, we’ve never actually touched the clothes from an Indian wedding before.  As picked up the wedding dress, we found out the skirt weighed near 10-12lbs by itself not including the top!  Always something new I guess.

Shelley looked absoluted beautiful that day.  Thankfully we stuck enough time to get some solos of Shelley and Ahmad before things got crazy.  We also had a great opporunity with Shelley’s brother who brought his low-rider in and we had some fun shots with that!

The ceremony and reception wrapped up at the Roberts Community Center in Livermore.  The place had some great lighting which came out very well in the pictures.

I’ve been so back logged on stuff I havent updated the blog in a while =/.  So much that I’ve already shot Shelley and Ahmads wedding!  I really enjoyed this shoot.  These two were just very natural in front of the camera and it shows in the pictures.  Definitely a great set.. up until Ahmad was ankle deep in water!!  Hah I called it!
