I'm trying to learn guitar... Usually, you learn to play a musical instrument when you are like elementary, or high school. It takes years to be good at it. I'm way pass my school days.. Been working for years now; however, I think I would like to learn to play the guitar.

My younger brother got a instructional tutorial material on learning to play the guitar as a Christmas gift from my ate. I borrowed it. Parang ok sya.. I think I would like to learn. =) Tamang tama, I have a great office friend, Jam Bautista, who is super-multi talented musical guru. Sobrang galing sa guitar and piano..

God gave me a little spare time, a brother na I can brow the tutorial material, a friend who can give practical and actual lessons -for free!!! =)

Hirap... complicated pala, need to practice..

Hmm... should I record my self trying to play... wag na muna... kakahiya.. =P

Food Shows

I love shows about food. I love all of them!

Just watched a rerun of Dinner Impossible and Top Chef.

This episode of Top Chef is the one Dale was kicked out of the show... Bummer... He is very skillful chef. But unfortunately not a very good leader... Syempre I'm for Dale! Pinoy ata yun! Unfortunately, mainitin ang ulo... He is not able to handle the other chef that is also very negative...

In contrast, Dinner Impossible's Robert Irvine great leading capability and excellent cooking skills is a perfect combination. Robert Irvine is now my favorite chef. Before it was Jamie Oliver.

Its more than the great food, its the great chef behind them.

I like this movie a lot. If you are looking for a relaxing movie, then this is not the movie for you. However, if you are like me, who loves movie that would make you think (where in listening to the characters' conversation is very important) then this is the movie for you!

I like almost every part of it! I really like how clever V is. Not only that, the movie itself is ingeniously made. The fiction and the reality compliment each other. I like the way how V took care of Evey (Natalie Portman). I like when Evey overcame her fear with the help of V. Ang galing when the detective predicted what will happen, where in he is predicting a mistake that will trigger the people's revolution. Ang galing talaga when over the end the people all wearing a masked marched to the parliamentary building on the eve of the 5 ^th of November.

I'm addicted to Friends.

There are times that I'm more exited to watch Friends on tv than watch movies!

Haaaaay… it really just makes my day =)

And I am not the only one! My mom also likes Friends!!! I may have made a convert out of my mom!

You can watch Friends in anyway you’d like:

-by yourself
-with family
-with other friends
-at your house and even at the office!

Quick Movie Review

For this month, I tried to make up for the lost opportunity to watch good movies. Anyway, these are the movies (only those worth mentioning) that I have watched so far for this month:

1. Ray Charles (vcd) –An inspiring movie. Galing ni Jamie Fox!

2. One Million Dollar Baby (vcd) – Best movie of the month. Better than Ray Charles. I guess I’m getting old already because I very much like this movie. It is not a feel good movie but still inspiring.

3. Fighting Temptation (dvd) – A fun relaxing movie =)

4. Kingdom or Heaven and Earth -Orlando Bloom is not yet ready the role he played. Have not yet reached the “hero level” of Mel Gibson, Brad Pitt, Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn), and Russell Crowe. "Hilaw pa siya".

5. Star Wars III – I like the sword fights (however Mike and I expected more from General Grievous’ skill in sword fighting), the dogfights, and the tons of special effects that makes the movie so real.

It’s only now, that I am able to watch the sitcom friends. I really liked it! I remember back then when I meet with my former cell, they always talked about the show Friends and its characters… And yes, you guessed it! I was Out of Place! Back then I’m not able to relate when all of them are laughing whenever they talk about that show.

The reason that I’m not able to watched the series is that back then, is -our TV is unable to get the reception of channel 5 (ABC 5); it’s the local channel that aired friends (we do not have cable back then)…

I liked how the show was written. I think one of the things that set apart this sitcom from the rest is that it does not need to make the characters too weird to make the sitcom funny. Most sitcoms have very weird characters; but the characters of friends are (almost) normal… I can’t really pinpoint why its funny, but I guess it’s funny because the characters of friends represents the different kinds of people that we encounter each day (including ourselves) -and we are being reminded how funny these people can be.

Hats off to the cast of friends!

Its almost been 2 months!!! 2 months! Imagine?! For 2 months that I haven’t watched a movie. Haaaay…, all those good movies that I passed out. Before, I watch movies at lease twice a month.

Sorry guys, no interesting post here; but I’m looking forward to make some reviews soon.

Can’t believe this one. For the whole month of March, I did not watch any movie. I’m not sure why, but I guess I’m too busy.
