Lotto by Text

Expanding on the brand identity I’d already created for Marketing Craze, a leading promoter and operator of mobile gaming content, I was approached to redesign the front-end of their Lotto by Text website.

The key emphasis was to generate new custom by offering free trials as well as display up-to-date lottery results which is echoed in the design.

Furthermore, I’ve also handled graphical banner designs and mailers for the same client, with campaigns running throughout the year.

Nestlé UK

Working on behalf of Nestlé Group Creative (now known as ‘Anthem’), I created these packaging and branding concepts which were produced for Easter and Halloween.

In the case of ‘Scary Biscuits’ – a combination of two well-established brands – the emphasis was placed on fun and activity for a memorable on-shelf appearance.

For the Easter products, a completely ownable solution was devised incorporating character illustrations and brand naming.

BBC & Big Finish

Maintaining consistency with the Doctor Who range of books and audio CDs licensed by Big Finish Productions for the BBC, these cover designs make heavy use of Photoshop production and in some cases photo restoration, drawing upon the ‘house-style’ of this popular range.

Royal Doulton

Acting on behalf of JTM Partners, I solely produced front-end visuals and concept work for the redesigned version of the Royal Doulton website.

Working to site skeletons produced in Microsoft Visio, the front-end was decidedly ‘modular’ in look and feel to reflect the size of this ecommerce site.

Various ‘widgets’ were also added as an effective way for the end-user to shop, and of course for offers to be given more prominence.

Unfortunately, Royal Doulton’s parent company Waterford Wedgwood recently went into administration, so the site in this format is offline. However, I’m presenting a couple of screen-captures to demonstrate my creative direction, also take a closer look here.

Challenged with incorporating an image gallery, as well as food and drink menus, I provided a stylish look and feel for the website which echoes the identity and quirky interior décor of this popular Soho bar and venue.

Furthermore, I also integrated a Wordpress-powered back-end so future news and events can be easily added by the client.

WebGlow

Based in California, WebGlow are a B2B company offering web application development, digital marketing, analysis, and custom programming.

I was commissioned to provide an overhaul of existing branding for this States-side development company. At the clients request, this pheonix-like symbol was devised, portraying WebGlow as a modern and forward-thinking company, and applied to corporate stationery and the eventual WebGlow site.

BBC Raw Talent

Following on from previous successful music events, Humberfest 2007 was launched incorporating local talent in the guise of BBC Raw Talent, and this is the flyer and poster design to accompany this event.

Due to the large amounts of acts appearing at the BBC Raw Talent gig and frequency of changes to the line-up, the client needed a flexible design solution.

Using a moody scene of the Humber Bridge and grungy typography, I created this design which set the tone and ultimately allowed plenty of room for copy revisions.

Business Smart

Corporate identity development for Business Smart International, a company specialising in business simulation for training, team building, and management development.

Working with the existing Business Smart identity, the aim was to strengthen their corporate presence as well as add impact to their range of business simulation products and services.

This ongoing relationship with Business Smart has included many projects including business stationery, pop-up banners for exhibitions and events, as well as sales collateral, brochures, press advertisements and flyers.
