These are the most common questions asked by the newbies about the computers and the operating systems like windows, Ubuntu, Linux and apple ” mac ” .

These days Linux users are in increasing day after day, so all of them want to know more about this things ” OS “. Microsoft software are not free, so they had this reason to convert to Linux and its brothers and sisters :p

what does operating system mean ?

In the past the computer users was in trouble, they were using DOS commands to do anything and the software were too bad ” during this period it was an invention, but now ?? “. Imagine that when you want to enter some folders you should write ” Dir” and ” CD ” these commands were great but the time my dear !

After that Microsoft released a software called Window operating system !

this invention leads us to another tool we still using till now ” the mouse ” and the right click/left click instead of the commands such as Dir/ Is and CD. without the operating system we will back to this commands ” imagine the time and the boring work you will do. This software make it easy now to close, open use the computer and also converted the hard work using the computer to a fun thing we enjoy to do everyday.

What is the difference between Linux and the other operating system ?

Linux and its friends is an open source software or a program. You can add, edit and change anything ” but in some version there is a limit “. ie in windows you can’t develop it and people around the world break this rules and develop this soft. The Linux soft are flexible you will enjoy working with it and using it, plus it is more faster than windows and there is no virus because most virus designed for .exe, bmp, jpeg, dll, cab…etc files but for Linux ” Ubuntu” it don’t read this extensions !

There is much difference between these OS and Linux but this was the major difference between them.

Now softly and step by step we will know how to Install Ubuntu Linux with images and pictures.

First download the latest Ubuntu version from the official website here

this lesson is divided into 10 Steps .. every step has an image and comment to leads you to the right click.

Step 1 :

After downloading the CD ” I think it will be in .ISO extension ” so you will need to burn it using Nero or such software on a CD. Insert the CD inside the CD drive then the language interface will appear to you, select the English interface ” maybe you use Hindi if you want ” anyways use the language you would like to use.

Step 2 :

The main menu will appears to you, There will be 3 options:

try Ubuntu without installing

Install Ubuntu

Check disc for defects

Test memory

Boot from first hard drive

The first one you know if you use live cdz, means that you will try this version of ubuntu without installing it. Sure we will choose the second option.

Step 3 :

After choosing install ubuntu the system ” ubuntu will initialize and after the loading you will see the installation wizard.

Step 4 :

The default choice is English, just go forward and then It will check the minimum requirements for running ubuntu on your computer ( PC ) ” checking the hardware”. You will see the green marks if everything works fine and the parts of you PC ” computer” will work OK with Ubuntu. You can download the updates during the installing process ” if you already downloaded the latest version of Ubuntu, so no need to check this box. Click forward again after choosing the suitable features for you.

Step 5 :

In this step you will face 2 options you should choose one on them :

erase and use entire disk.

specify partitions manually ( advanced ).

you are free to choose one of them, then it will show the free space available for your PC.

You will need to create a new partition, so select The free space you have in HD ” hard disk drive ” and be sure that the partition type is primary. This drive should be from 70%-60% of the equal space you have ” or the space you want to use for the new system “. The location for the new partition is where do you want this space locate ” beginning or end “, use as should be ext3 journaling file system, here we change the usage of the partition from FAT 32 to EXT3 finally the mount point leave it as /. Check the photo below:

Now we will do the previews step but with a few changes:

The type of the new partition should be Logical.

Location for the new partition : beginning

The new partition size in megabytes around 300 MB

Use as : EXT3 journaling file system.

finally the mount point : /boot.

check the Image below :

Again we will do the last steps but with another changes:

The type of the new partition should be Logical.

The new partition size in megabytes : this depends on you RAM for example if you have 512 MB RAM your swap size should be 1000 MB. If the RAM is 1000 MB then the swap area should be 2000 MB.

Use as : Swap area.

finally the mount point :will be disactive or leave it blank.

check the Image below then click OK:

After creating the swap area you don’t need to create another partition to make your Linux UBUNTU get installed now we have :

Two partition with EXT3 extension and one partition as swap area.

If you saw the previews Image this means that everything is working fine ” you should smile “

step : 6

Click install now button and the next wizard will appear to you ” Where are you wizard ” select your location then click forward.

Step 7:

Select you keyboard layout as the next image show:

Step 8 :

You should know that while you doing this steps maybe some file were installing during this process. This step about your personal information such as ( your name, age, password,username ) then as usual ” forward “

you know that this Linux replaced the know word ” next” from windows to the word “forward” ?

Step 9 :

We are to finishing the installation after a few minutes .. you will see the files copied ” finished” and installed you will get a message telling you that everything done and the installation is completed now. So restart your computer and remove the CD from the CD device ” if you didn’t the system will restart and ask you to install ubuntu again !.

Step 10 :

The last step here is the interface look, i asked you to restart the computer and remove the CD. Then the new system will appear its interface with the screamable – visualbox or the login page ( asking you to enter the username and the password )

enter the user and the pass then enjoy the great interface of UBUNTU. I’m sure that you will like it .. and you will never back to mac or windows again

What after killing moamar algadafi and is it true that gaddafi killed and now Muammar al Gaddafi is dead ?

This post isn’t about the green book by the General Muammar Al Qathafi but this post about the end of his life !

and not about pics” photos – pictures ” of killing people also not a killing video.

personally I don’t know how did they kill him .. they said ” he was injured when they were catching him and no one shoot him, but I don’t believe that because the video show that he was alife when they cough him. It was only a mobile video but it was clear enough to check his health ( deal or still breathing ). You can watch the video of killing Muammar al Gaddafi by searching youtube sorry not killing but catching ( but for me killing ) I’m not defensing but where is the respect ? where is the human rights or we see it only in other cases !

yes today is the day of The media who wants to see Muammar al Gaddafi dead. I see that he is a brave man ( I’m not saying that he is a good man or bad ) there is some people are brave to face such danger and didn’t escape outside of his country. Muammar al Gaddafi said ” i born here and I will died here ” it is true he was killed here. In the age of 69 he passed away ” killed “, he was born in Sirte ( Sidra ), Libya and died in Sirte ( Sidra ), Libya too.

I think that there is a prize given from the General moamar algadafi ” The Al-Gaddafi International Prize for Human Rights ” It was an annual prize founded by Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi in 1988.

I think that there is no People protesting against Gaddafi again, but i expect that there is much bad things will happen in the future in Libya after killing moamar algadafi. I heard that most of his sons were killed ” Muhammad Muammar al Gaddafi, Saif al-Islam Muammar al Gaddafi, Al-Saadi Muammar al Gaddafi, Hannibal Muammar al Gaddafi, Moatassem Muammar al Gaddafi, Saif al-Arab Muammar al Gaddafi, Khamis Muammar al Gaddafi and not sure about Milad Muammar al Gaddafi.

We will see the next few days what will happen to his family ” the rest of his family “. His wife I think went to Algeria. Moammar Al Gadhafi was a story and here we are ” closing this book sorry story ” let’s wait what will happen after that. I think the was against terrorist is big and wide, but who is the terrorist and who is the victim. Libya now is hot place, hope that people there try to live a good life and not searching about the war and the revenge. Before I finish the post we should know that women can’t be a bodyguard as Moammar Al Gadhafi did, During the hard time you will not find them at all gaddafi bodyguards was girls ” women ” and now he is dead. It isn’t a complex process, We can do it in a few minutes. You will edit the theme file and will add some short codes that contains some links to help you to choose from several looks. Intro:

I wrote a post before about Applying for a new job ? need a CV ? so learn how to write or build a prefect and effective cv and this post will be more professional than the last one. In this post we will discuss the different types of CV, but first we should know what is a C.V.? ( define the cv or resume ) what does Curriculum Vitae mean and its abbreviation, The Difference Between a CV and a Resume and much more, so let’s start this post again !

What is the difference between a curriculum vitae (CV) and a resume?

The main differences between them are the length, the content.

The resume consists of pages ” one or two ” about your skills, experience and education and it is succinct not as the CV ” more than 2 pages “.

BTW: the last point isn’t stable it change from country to country .. from place to another.

A Curriculum Vitae is summarized you background(s) such as teaching and research experience, publications, presentations, awards, honors, affiliations and other details, And it may used for applying for academic, education, scientific or research positions. It is also applicable when applying for fellowships or grants.

types of CVs :

chronological CV

Chronological CV: It is about the candidate’s experience, also it contains detail of education and qualifications, together with hobbies. It contain a brief personal statement at the front which sets out the key skills and strengths of the candidate. This is the most common type of CV.

How to structure a chronological CV

A chronological CV typically uses the following structure:

Personal details (i.e. name and contact details)

Personal profile or career objectives. This should not exceed 5 lines.

Employment in reverse chronological order. Under each employer, you should set out a number of bullet points which describe your key achievements. In order to be fully effective, you should ensure that you use power words.

Key qualifications

Professional memberships

Hobbies and personal interests

Advantages

Particularly useful for those applying within the same industry as it will demonstrate your career progression.

It is the favorite format for most employers, who simply want to get a feel for your career to date.

If you do not have many achievements across your career, taking a job by job approach will save you having a separate “Achievements” section (characteristic of Functional CVs) which may look tiny.

Disadvantages

If you have gaps in your employment which you would rather not discuss, a chronological CV will make them more obvious.

If you are changing career direction, a chronological CV will add little information to your new employer, who will be more concerned about the transferable skills that you are bringing rather than the detail of your experience in an unrelated sector.

Functional CV

Functional CV:places the emphasis on your skills and expertise rather than the chronology of you employment to date.

How to structure a chronological CV

A functional CV typically starts with a personal profile which highlights the achievements, skills and personal qualities that you possess. This is then followed by a succession of sections, each relating to a different skill or ability. These should be ordered in decreasing order of importance. Instead of focusing on any particular job, you should describe your experience in its globality. Since you are not focusing on any particular past employment, this means you can include any skills or experience gained in voluntary or unpaid work. Here are examples of functional headings that are commonly found.

Disadvantages

A functional CV will not enable you to highlight consistent career progression. If you wish to convey career progression, you should adopt a chronological format.

To conclude the CV, you should then a list of employers and employment dates, as well as a section on your qualification. The last section should focus on your personal details and hobbies/interests.

Combined CV

Combined CV: follows both the chronological and functional format, which makes the CV slightly longer than normal.

Advantages

Perfect format if you have a strong career progression with many achievements.
Enables you to sell your strengths as well as your experience

Disadvantages

Lengthier than a functional or chronological CV
Failing to get the attention with the right profile at the start of the CV may result in the whole CV remaining unread.
Not suitable for those with little experience or achievements.
Not suitable for those with employment gaps

Whether you want to learn writing articles for magazine, newspaper, learning ” school”, blogging or even for some websites such as Wiki, yahoo BUZZ, Digg, stumbleupon or blogger you want to make your words express you as possible as you can.

In this Article i give you some steps will help you to write an amazing article. I don’t care in which language will be your article I care only about the steps so if your article will be in English, French, Arabic, Spanish, German or Italian you can stick into this steps. This steps is the big lines and you can add or remove some steps but basically you will need to do it in this way.

Step 1 :

Determine the article topic, you can ask yourself what do you want to write about ?

Anyone has an idea, so he/she can start writing according to this idea. If you have to, then brainstorm. In my opinion the random topics is the first step to write an stupid article. You may ask me this question ” i can’t get a unique idea what can i do ? ” i will answer you ” there is no unique idea but there is a unique technique ” your style will be your fingerprint. Did you read before an article in some newspapers or websites and you guessed the writer ? I’m sure that you did this before even for one time. I’m writing now about this topic ” writing articles” and you will write about the same idea but your article is better then mine. Much people liked your article but mine NOT ! this depends on the style and way that both of us establishing the “same” idea.

Step 2 :

You target audience, you must know your reader ” audience “, know their interests and how they read your words. Also the level of the audience is an important thing, if they are beginners, newbies, professional or not his or that. It will makes you choose the suitable words they could understand and know how much your article is valuable. We can count the age as an effective tool in article writing ( writing an article for kids isn’t the same as writing one for older people ) the language is different and the words too, so before writing the article figure out who your audience is.

Step 3 :

Studying and researching, Before writing about some topics you must read more about such topics for example if you want to write an article about H5N1 you must read about this virus and know the basic information about this virus to write a useful article, but if you didn’t do this the reader will not find any useful information about this topic in your website or your newspaper. You can as the experts about the topics you don’t have much information about, so you must do your research.

Step 4 :

The limitation, If the article is short you must choose the deep and direct words to avoid the limitation ” we are doing it in facebook comments and status “. You want to send some information to the audience, so the article length will affect on your words and expression. You writing an article in a journal so you have a limited space, I think that you got my idea now.

Step 5 :

Your sources, did you log into Wiki ” Wikipedia ” before? if yes then did you see the source at the bottom of the pages? this what i mean by your sources.

You can add documents, articles, links or the people who told you this information.

Step 6 :

The article summary, some add the summary at the end of the article, but some used to put it as intro. The summary makes the visitor ” reader ” get some information about the coming words, so after reading the article the reader will ready ” prepared ” to read the article itself.

Step 7 :

The lessons learned, Why the reader read your article? you answer !

in this part you will tell them at the end of every section some notes about the paragraph you wrote, so the reader will know the summa. Also you can add some words to make the reader pay attention to some important part. This part will link the summary with your article parts.

Step 8 :

Checking and reviewing, do you prefer that the reader discover your faults ? I don’t think so. All writers must review their articles to discover the misspelled words and some basic grammar mistakes. You will not write a poetry, but such mistakes discreases the vaule of the article, I will give you an exaple ( when i write an article about money making i don’t need to make my article 100% gramatically true and not stupid gramatically but middle because my audience will look at the content ) the same with the poetry but if different way ( the audience will look at the content beside the grammar ). We should remove the unnecessary or contradictory information ” words”, and read the article more than one time ( put yourself instead of the reader ) and you will discover the mistakes i mentioned easy.

Step 9 :

Quotation and rewriting, when you put a quotation inside your article don’t edit the words, so write it as you copied it. The same if you you planing to rewrite an article rewrite it as the original writer wrote it. We called it the honor of writing ( BTW: this gives your article more credibility ).

Step 10 :

Submitting and Finishing, the last step is submitting the article and put the last touch ( the comma and the marks ..etc ), also check the time before submitting the article if the article is talking about something or a period of time ( event ). My last word is ” Writing an article is an excellent creativity “.

I gave you some general information and tips in article writing. The tips here is flexible so don’t stick into all of them ie. your article may don’t has any quotation, rewriting, lessons to learn, sources and limitation ” here in my blog i don’t have a limit “.

This blog is back to you again after so long time, yes I was busy too much and i didn’t find any time to post here but, here we are. Two year ago this blog was active and i was posting at least one post daily, but month after month it became abandoned, so i decided to get its spirit back. I will write now about the upcoming royal wedding ( prince William and Kate Middleton ).

Pippa Middleton will be the maid of honour at the Royal wedding. I’m sure that you will ask about Pippa Middleton. Before you start asking questions i will answer this question with ” Pippa Middleton will be the maid of honour at her sister’s Royal wedding !! ” now we know a new information about her. By the way she is a party organizer, so she got her free wedding invitation card. Now we will move to the new queen ( she is walking in the same way as princess Diana ) she is a normal girl and we wish her better luck than the princess. Now Catherine Elizabeth (Kate Middleton ) must be aware of Paparazzi ” is an Italian term used to refer to photojournalists who specialize in candid photography of celebrities, politicians, and other prominent people ” they will be around her next days ” years ” . William and Kate has Mario Testino as a photographer ” who took Prince William and Miss Middleton’s official portrait photographs to mark their engagement ” BTW he is invited and he had an officially invitation card !. Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, Galen Weston ( both are friend of The Prince of Wales and his family ) also Sam Waley-Cohen, Guy Ritchie, they are a mutual friend of ( prince William and Kate Middleton ) and he is the amateur jockey. GENDER – SIZE – HAIR
What about the gender of the dog? Are you interested in a male or female? Will you breed the dog once it is grown? If a breeding program is not in its future, consider neutering the dog. Are you interested in a large or a small dog? Often, potential owners don’t consider the frame size and weight of the puppy when it becomes an adult. Also think about the grooming needs of a long-haired dog versus a short-haired one.

VETERINARY CARE
The dog will also need regular veterinary care. All these costs can add up, especially if you’re on a limited budget. What type of dog do you want? Purebred or mixed breed? Research the traits of the breed that interests you. Be aware that some breeds have specific benefits or problems. In addition, some purebreds can be very expensive. Perhaps adopting from your local animal shelter is an option.

TIME
Another important factor is your family’s lifestyle. Do you work all day? How much free time do you have? In all other situations – probably 99.9% – an alarm system, security fence, or other measures are much more appropriate and effective.

c) To breed puppies
If you’ve read the third paragraph of this piece and still feel this way, there is probably little I can offer to change your mind. But, just in case, let me restate the case a little more thoroughly. The breeding of dogs is a responsibility not to be taken lightly. If it is not your intention to remain responsible for all of your puppies for their entire lives, including being willing to take back and care for those who may find themselves homeless, do not enter into this endeavor. If you are planning on breeding for profit, understand that there are much easier, more profitable and ethical ways to make a buck. Dogs are living beings and dog breeding requires a significant investment of time, money, labor, knowledge, both academic and practical, patience, and emotional fortitude, to be done responsibly and humanely. Please visit a few of the shelter and rescue websites, or your local shelter, and witness the problem yourself. View the faces of the homeless dogs and talk to the volunteers and staff who, all too often, must take that ‘final walk’ with them.

BUYING STRATEGY
Once you’ve decided on the type of dog you want and where you will purchase it, do not buy a puppy on the first visit. Instead, potential owners leave, think about the decision, and then go back. Avoid the temptation of buying two or more puppies. A single puppy will bond to its owner better and will be easier to train.

Depending on the breed, the best time to purchase a puppy is between 7-9 weeks of age. As soon as possible have the puppy examined by a veterinarian. If possible, ask the seller if you can have the puppy checked by a veterinarian before you purchase it.
