A Dutch Microsoft employee tweeted with the latest picture of the Windows Phone 7 handset, the LG E900. It looks more or less like the LG C900 minus the keyboard. Well, the user interface looks pretty promising. The handset in itself is quite stunning to look at. The price tag and specifications are not available to us yet.

Glimpses of the new Nokia C7 has been captured by Mobile-review. This is more of a first look than an actual review. The website claims that this phone has solid potential, killer looks and would have an aggressive price. But not as much as to grab attention from the non Nokia customers. Well, this is the second Nokia device which sports the Symbian^3. So, Nokia fan boys cant wait to get their hands on this.

Motorola Sage caught on camera

Here we have a latest picture of Motorola’s latest smartphone, the Moto Sage. Yes, it is an Android device and nothing much can be explained besides that. Though it comes with a Motoblur 2 skin like the recently launched Moto Droid X. Well, this smartphone comes with the 2.1 version of the Android OS. With the 2.2 version already in some smartphones, it would have been really good to have considered the same for this phone.

LG announces 3 new touchscreen handsets

With a lot of touch-screen handsets in the market already, LG has announced 3 new handsets in the form of Wink, Wink Style and Wink 3G. These 3 handsets look pretty promising though not the best. The main attraction with these phones would be a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio and a micro SD slot. Well, LG hasn’t revealed any specifications as of yet, which is quite unusual considering what other companies do. LG sure has some competition in the market when it comes to quality touch-screen phones.

Samsung UK gifting free Galaxy S phones to disappointed iPhone 4 customers

Well, Samsung UK has come up with a brilliant marketing strategy. The disappointed iPhone 4 customers in UK have some good news waiting. A twitter account named @samsungukmobile which belongs to the UK division of Samsung mobiles, have been re-tweeting those who have recently purchased an iPhone and are facing bad reception problems. They have decided to give them their latest Galaxy S handset and let them decide which the best phone is. Some thought this might be a false rumor, but later Samsung clarified this move by saying that they have heard various complaints from people who have had their competitor’s phone and decided to offer free phones to such people and let them decide for themselves. We’re not sure if this move is confined to just UK.

HP Slate look alike from China

Well, anything is possible in China when it comes to gadgets. This faction has been proved right once again by China. A tablet which looks like the HP Slate has been spotted in China. It comes with a 10 inch display compared to the 8.9 inch display of the forthcoming HP Slate. It runs on Windows 7 OS and is filled with much more features like: 1366 x 768 resistive multitouch display(stylus included), a web cam, a regular USB port, 3.5 mm audio jack, accelerometer, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G and it comes with a stand. Well, no word has been out on the price of this little Chinese beauty yet. But this tablet is sure to create a buzz in the market.

White iPhone 4 delayed yet again

For those who wish to buy the iPhone 4 in white, there’s bad news awaiting. According to Apple, the white iPhone 4 would take much longer to come in the market than expected. Apple said it had continued to be more challenging to manufacture than they originally expected. They said it wouldn’t be launching until later this year. There have been some problems with determining the thickness of the paint and some trouble getting the right texture of white that Apple wants. The satisfying fact though is that, by the time the white iPhone 4 releases, the Antennagate and other network related flaws would be forgotten and over with.

Droid X network attenuation video by Apple

After the recent Nokia N97 mini video by Apple, its the Motorola Droid X this time that has grabbed some attention. Apple wants to prove that the network attenuation problem is common to almost every handset manufacturer. Well, in this particular video, the network bar comes down from 3 bars to 0 when held at the bottom left part of the handset. This video is much more convincing than the very recent N97 mini one. Well, the blame game has been going on for quite some time now. This whole issue doesn’t seem to end.

Apple has decided to give away free iPhone 4 cases to its users. Well, they’ve created a dedicated app for the cause named iPhone 4 Case Program on the AppStore. If you already own an iPhone 4, you should apply for a free case before 22 August. If you’re thinking of buying an iPhone 4 before the 30th of September, the free cases won’t be given to you. To get your free iPhone 4 case, users simply download the iPhone 4 Case Program app from the AppStore and sign in with your account. You’ll get to choose from 7 different black variants.

Windows Phone 7 manufacturers named by Microsoft

Microsoft’s Greg Sullivan confirmed the manufacturers for the highly expected Windows Phone 7 mobile OS. Well, most of the people knew who the manufacturers were gonna be. But its always nice to get an official confirmation. Well, Microsoft has named Dell, Asus, LG, HTC, and Samsung as the producers of the Windows Phone 7 OS. Well, no official release date has been mentioned yet but all we know is that its somewhere near the holiday season. The folks at Microsoft haven’t given out any info on this particular issue.
