EVE Online Incarna – Now Released for Mac

Today CCP games released their new expansion for EVE Online, Incarna.

EVE Online Incarna will be available for mac today June 21st 2011 and will feature new updates such as: New cruiser-class ships, new gun/turret models and animation, EMC changes for better battle, faction vs faction standings and other performance improvements. On top of this you will also get the ability to acces your own captain’s quarters where you can look at news and strategic data feeds. Along with other goodies to check out in your captain’s quarters you also get your own walkway/balcony which has a majestic view. Oh almost forgot, you will also be able to browse thru your wardrobe and customize your character in many different ways infront of the mirror in your own captain’s quarters.

Grepolis 2.0 Released for Mac

Today InnoGames released the second version of their very popular browser MMORTS game, Grepolis. In version 2.0 we will find improved graphics and new game mechanics. The most noticeable change is the new city overview but there is also many other changes made within the gameplay. Here is a complete list of all the changes made:

The Wilderness is Coming Back to Runescape

Last month Jagex made it possible for Runescape players to decide the destiny and future of this Free2Play Browser MMORPG. They let the players vote if they wanted free trade and the wilderness return to Runescape.

With 91% of you in favour of its return, the Wilderness is coming back to Runescape!

There are only a few days to go before the Wilderness returns on the 1st of February, so come and join us in-game to prepare for the fight of your life. Whether you need to dust off your weapons and armour, gather some food and potions, or find some friends to group up with, there’s plenty to prepare for before you vanquish your enemies.

Conquer Online is Coming to Mac

Today TQ Digital announced that Conquer Online will be released for mac. Conquer Online was released back in 2003 as a pay-to-play MMORPG. But got refurbished and re-released as a fresh new free-to-play MMORPG for PC in 2008. But by the start of April this year also mac users will be able to enjoy this epic world of quests and Kung-Fu.

Attention, Mac addicts!

We have some great news! The TQ team is proud to announce that Conquer Online is now coming to the Mac! This new Mac Beta version is scheduled for release around April, 2011. Soon, players on Mac will be able to do battle and quest in this epic world of Kung-Fu! Everyone will be able to join in the most exciting PvP battles, slay dangerous monsters, complete perilous tasks, and just have the most fun of your gaming life!

The exact date for the release is not yet fixed, but the one thing we can be sure of is that the new Mac Conquer will still be free to play, and will include all of the previous updates available for the Windows version!

The development of the Mac client is about to reach its final phase, and will be available sooner than you know! More details will be coming soon! Stay tuned to the Conquer Online Official Site!

Do You Want See The Wilderness and Free Trade Return to Runescape?

Jagex has given everybody that play the game Runescape the power to decide if they want the wilderness and free trade back.

The Wilderness is an area that allows player killing with no restrictions. The Wilderness has been the place for massive PVP action for years in the world of Runescape. But a month ago Jagex decided that the Wilderness is no more.

Free trade was taken out of system mainly to get rid of scammers and gold selling. Tho this also made it impossible for people to trade large amount of in-game money. I personally believe that the free trade is what makes Runescape vibrant and rich. The ability to make your living as a full on crafter, instead of master of the grind.

Blizzcon 2010 Reveals New Diablo III Info

For fans of the hugely successful Diablo series from Blizzard Entertainment, BlizzCon offers the chance to learn more about next instalment coming soon to Macintosh and PC: Diablo III. Although the incredible gameplay trailers have certainly whetted their fair share of appetites, it’s all in the details now: Will the game be multiplayer and in what way? What classes will there be? Etc.

New Class: Demon Hunter

Blizzard have announced the final class to feature in the epic Diablo III: the demon hunter. This class will fit in alongside the Barbarian, Monk, Witch Doctor and Wizard and will offer great proficiency with gadgets, explosives and traps in addition to the more traditional ranged weapons such as bows and crossbows, in combination with the old dagger and short sword.

Described as part ranger, part bounty hunter, the demon hunter will have a visually distinct look designed to be sexy yet dark. Obviously, the attire will be in keeping with the general medieval feeling but the demon hunter will wear scarves, leggings and armguards that set it apart from other classes.

Battle.net Integration

Players will be happy to hear that Diablo III will feature both single-player and multi-player modes. Although the game will obviously not be an MMORPG for Mac, linux or windows it will offer cooperative multiplayer gaming via the Battle.net network. This means that players will be able to party with their friends over the internet to work through the game universe together.

There is still one piece of information we were hoping for which unfortunately didn’t arrive: a release date. Hopefully Blizzard will get their skates on and finish this one soon, but until then at least we still have the awesome demo footage to drool over.
