The Strikeforce event on June 26th is bound to be one for the books as Strikeforce mixed martial arts joins up with M-1 Global to bring some of the toughest fighters in the world together within one caged ring. This is an extra special event because it combines Strikeforce MMA with M-1 Global, which allows it to be a complete world showcase of some of the world's best fighters. This showcase has a huge title card as Fedor Emelianenko (who is actually a co-owner of M-1 Global) takes on Fabricio Werdum in a heavyweight bout that promises to entertain.

Fedor Emelianenko- also known as "The Last Emperor"- holds a record of 31-1. His only recorded loss comes from the fact that his fight with Tsuyoshi Kohsaka was stopped when Emelianenko suffered a gash in the opening seconds of the fight. Even though he has a loss to tarnish his undefeated streak, "The Last Emperor" understands that numbers don't mean anything when you're inside the cage.

Fedor has been at the top as the best heavyweight in the world for the better part of the last decade. He has taken down Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovi?, Mark Coleman, and Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira on his way there. On June 26th, he goes up against Fabricio Werdum (the number 9 heavyweight in the world) for a showdown that's bound to define the two fighters and the event.

Even though Emelianenko is among the top heavyweights in the world, he will have a lot on his hands going up against the jiu-jitsu technician, Fabricio Werdum. Werdum is known as "Vai Cavalo" or "Leading Horse" which speaks to his wild and free nature in the ring. It looks like Emelianenko will be tasked with taming Werdum if he wants that victory.
Despite this exciting main card, the June 26th Strikeforce will feature much more heated action. In fact, many more people are looking forward to the top woman in the world, Cris "Cyborg" Santos taking on Jan Finney. Most feel that Cyborg will take out Finney pretty easily and glide on to an effortless victory (even more so considering that Finney's nickname is "Cuddles"), but Finney has been known to be scrappy making the fight a good one to watch.

Mudstock, as it has been dubbed, is a festival which will last two days and which forms a part of a series of events spread over two weeks to promote cycling and to celebrate the sport and bikes in general in Bristol. Bristol has gone made for bikes, since being given Cycling City status. The award of the status of cycling city led to grants which will be used to promote cycling and improve provision for cyclists within the city.

At Mudstock, attendees will be able to enjoy demonstrations of the latest Trek mountain bikes, amongst others. Group rides for every ability level will also be taking place. Famous and respected people from the world of mountain biking are going to be addressing the crowd in a series of talks, and this is expected to prove to be a very popular part of the event.

There is no entry charge to go to the event and it is not aimed at any specific type of rider, everyone is welcome. Whether you’re a beginner or you’ve got years of experience under your belt you are welcome. For beginners, the event is the perfect chance to learn a bit more about their hobby.There will also be the opportunity to stock up on biking supplies as a number of brands will be offering discounted goods. There is even a raffle with a top prize of a £500 bike donated by Trek mountain bikes.

Because the talks, exhibitions and sales on offer are too good to miss, the event is likely to be well attended. Even the chance to win a great Trek mountain bike is too good to miss.There is an array of food and drink available. Local cider will be abundant.And throughout the fortnight the wider city will be enjoying biking themed events including a bike themed art exhibition.

Three Differing Types

A Wall Clock by Howard Miller is built in three variations: chiming, non-chiming and Ty Pennington design. A number of clocks are quite basic, while others can be highly ornate. The company presently sells approximately fifty chiming wall clocks. The Alcott is an impressive wall clock that features a sculptured cover and enlarged dentil (a dentil is one of a group of closely spaced, rectangular blocks) molding. It includes an off-white Roman numeral dial that features a solid brass bezel and decorative accents between each numeral. A polished and raised brass pendulum and polished chime rods convey a unique effect. What's more , it includes a chime silence choice, and is polished off in cherry wood on select hardwoods and veneers. The Elaine Howard Miller wall clock features a decorative shell and decorative burl overlays. It has reeded columns, and an antique lyre and grid pendulum which counts the time. The Cortez is a contemporary wall clock with a brushed nickel finished bezel and grid pendulum. It also, possesses a sophisticated curved glass front and features volume control and an automatic nighttime chime shut-off option.

Some of the Selections

An Original Howard Miller III is a non-chiming wall clock which is authentic to the very first timepieces which Howard Miller created. This has fade-resistant inks and old-fashioned dials and is available having a seconds and dual hour movement. The Savannah Botanical VII is elegantly framed in an antique brass bezel and features a decorative brass pendulum which swings below.
