I have no plan to register because I’m tired from work but because my mom wants me to register then I have no choice. As expected there are lots of people in the registration area. They gave us a number and they gave me 174. I have waiting but I have no choice so I waited until they call my number. While waiting I can’t help but notice that those barangay officials are letting other people register directly without following the proper procedure. Those people didn’t even have to wait for their numbers to be called because they didn’t even have a number and all they have to to is sign and the representatives will take their pictures for the ID and they can leave. I was really pissed because I haven’t had any sleep and for me they don’t have the right to do that. Even if they are barangay officials or not they should know how to follow the rules. Some of the people are already complaining but they are not listening instead they kept on doing the same thing. I don’t know if those people are their relatives or not but what I know is I’m not happy with what they are doing.

Enchanted

I’ve watched this movie and I can say that it’s a fun movie to watch. I like it’s soundtrack and I like it’s unique story because it’s not the conventional princess marrying a princess plus a happy ending. I mean this movie of course has a happy ending. It’s about a princess that was lost and went to the real worl. Her prince’s step mother doesn’t want him to marry her so she made the princess fall into a well and it leads to the real world.

Here’s my favorite part:

<itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit><itunes:subtitle>I’ve watched this movie and I can say that it’s a fun movie to watch. At first I didn’t realize who he is then I remember that he was my classmate when I was in elementary. I added him on my friends list and I tried searching for my old classmates and friends. Who would have thought that a site like Facebook will help me connect with my old friends? Yesterday, I’ve added 3 of my old classmates on my friends list and I hope that I will be able to find my other friends and add them up on my friends list.

Cory Aquino

This page requires a higher version browser
For the latest Philippine news stories and videos, visit GMANews.TV

To be honest, I can’t say anything about our former president Cory Aquino. I was only a 2 years old when she became our president. But based on what I see on the news and on the things that I’ve from my mom I think that she’s really a good president. The former president was featured in iWitness. I’ve learned that she’s a strong and loving woman. She was able to serve to her country and become a good mother to her kids the same time. I’ve learned that she doesn’t want to be given a special treatment when she was the president of the country. My mom felt really sad when they reported that she passed away.

Nutrition Month

My nephew had a parade with his classmates today. So I tried to search for things which I can do to avoid it. I can’t help using my playstation 2 discs because I love to play gaming console games. Then I thought that I might be able to save my original discs from scratches by creating a back up which I can use to play games. I searched online on how I can do that because I only have NERO burning software and I don’t know how I can back-up my disc using that software. You can burn ps2 game or copy ps2 game using Alcohol 120% software.

Using Alcohol 120% for PS1/PS2

- Start Alcohol 120%
- Select Copy Wizard?
- Select your Reader & Read Speed
- Select or Deselect? Copy current disc on the fly?
- For Datatype select which console PS1 or PS2, press Next
- Select your Image location and Name for it, press Next
- Select you Writer, Write Speed and anything else you feel you might need
- Make sure the Datatype selected is the same you chose above
- Press Start to begin

Korean Entertainment Invading Philippines

There are lots of Asian dramas on TV. I’m watching Korean and Japanese drama because they have good stories. Now, it seems like their music has reached Philippines. I was surprised because I noticed that their music was even listed in MIX’s Daily Top 10. My sisters are even listening to their music and I was like “They can’t even understand what those singers are saying.” I can’t really blame them because I even listen to songs that I can’t understand myself (I love listening to anime themes). What do they have that we Filipinos like aside from good stories? Boy and girl bands from Korea are getting quite popular here. One thing that I like about this speaker is its speakers are wireless. It is THX certified which means it has excellent sound quality. I love to shop and I love the feeling that you are walking in the mall surrounded by the things that you want to have. I love the feeling that I can buy everything that I want but in reality it kills me to pay all the bills that I have to pay each month because of the things that I bought that I don’t really need. I once have 4 credit cards and because of my unwise spending I ended up with a big debt with all those credit card companies. Though I am trying my best to pay them all I can say that it’ll take time for me to pay all my debts completely. Sometimes I’m thinking of what is wrong in wanting things but then when I think of the problems that my unwise spending cause me I can already think of an answer. For me shopping is a way to relieve my stress. I don’t need to say it but what happened to me is the same as what happened to the character in “Confessions of a Shopaholic.” That is why I don’t like to watch that movie in the first place.

Now, I am trying my best to be a wise spender. I am trying to save money to make sure that I will have money to spend in case need to in the future. I’m trying to avoid going to the malls as much as I can and I don’t like to buy magazines (because they drive me crazy). I am focusing on how I can earn money than to spend money. But to be able to do that I need to learn how to control myself in spending my money on things that I don’t really need.

Transfomers 2: Revenge of the Fallen

It was last Sunday that me and my mom went to SM North Edsa to watch a movie. We wanted to watch Harry Potter because I’m a big Harry Potter fan. However, we ended up watching Transformers because there lots of people who are trying to watch Harry Potter and it will take us quite some time just to buy the ticket because the line of people is pretty long. Like what I’ve said on Ghen’s blog I haven’t watched Transformers yet so I decided to watch transformers instead of Harry Potter. It was really awesome. I like Optimus Prime’s fight scene against the other deceptions (including Megatron). It has more fight scenes than the first one and I think Megan Fox is more beautiful in that movie (hehehe). The other two robots are really cool. I don’t really know who they are but they both looked like a mouse (but I think I heard them mention that they are twins). Those robots are really funny especially the one who’s captured by Mikaela.

Castlevania Symphony of the Night

Like I always said I love to plays video games. I am lucky for I have few gaming consoles in my house (though I didn’t bought it all because I have no money) My boyfriend game me a playstation one six years ago, I bought my playstation 2, and then his daddy sent me an XBOX 360 as a Christmas gift 2 years ago. There are lots of games that I love to play but only few are my favorites. My all time favorite is Final Fantasy VII, Resident Evil, and Castlevania Symphony of the Night. Last night my friend gave me a game at first I didn’t know what it is but he told me that I will love it. I checked it and I found out that it is the game that I’ve been looking for a long time. I was so excited that I forgot to change clothes because I just came in from work and I started playing the game. I really love it even though I forgot how the play the game. Yesterday, I failed for a couple of times in 1 hour of playing that game so you can really imagine how long I haven’t played that game. I like the game because it is so much fun. It’s not a hardcore game like God of War (which I also like to play) and it doesn’t have good graphics unlike those new games that are out right now. But still it is one of my favorite games because I like the story of the game and it’s really fun.

Barangay Ginebra Won and Standing is Now 3-2

Yes, I was so happy last night because the Gin Kings won the game against San Miguel. I thought that they have a very small chance to win the game because my boyfriend told me that Helterbrand will not going to play because of some sort of injury. Maybe, I’m turning to be a Ginebra fan? (This is all because of my brother and Uncle because they always watch basketball) Helterbrand was able to play but just like what my boyfriend told me he played in the game with an injury. I heard on the news that there’s a 68% chances that whoever will win the game five so that game was really crucial. I like Ginebra to win the championship because I don’t like San Miguel especially when the two of their players tried to attack one of the fans. But San Miguel is a really a tough team and most of their players are taller than the Ginebra’s players so it will be a really hard for Ginebra to win the championship. San Miguel will definitely work hard on game six so it will be a good game and I don’t think that Ginerbra will let them win easily to be able because it’s a chance for them to win the championship. I am so excited and I hope that they’ll win the championship.

An Old Movie Saved me from Boredom

Last Sunday, I was really bored for I don’t have any DVDs to watch though I have lots of DVDs. I want to watch a new movie even if it’s not a new released DVD. I ended up watching Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom on cinemax. I had fun watching that movie. I am not into old movies. I just have a collection of movies but I don’t really watch old movies. Some of you guys will not agree with me but I think it is better than the new Indiana Jones and the kid is really cute in that movie.

Plot:

In 1935 (notably a year before the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark), Indiana Jones narrowly escapes the clutches of a crime boss in Shanghai. With nightclub singer Willie Scott and his ten-year-old Chinese sidekick Short Round in tow, Indiana flees Shanghai on a plane that, unbeknownst to them, is piloted by the crime boss's affiliates. The pilots leave the plane to crash over the Himalayas, though the trio manage to escape on an inflatable boat and ride down the slopes into a raging river. The trio come to a desolate village in India, where the poor villagers believe them to have been sent by the Hindu god Shiva and enlist their help to retrieve a sacred Sivalinga stone stolen from their shrine, as well as the community's kidnapped children from evil forces in the nearby Pankot Palace. During the journey to Pankot, Indiana hypothesizes that the stone may be one of the five fabled Sankara stones, which promise fortune and glory.

The trio receive a warm welcome from the residents of Pankot Palace, who rebuff Indiana's questions about the villagers' claims and his theory that the ancient Thuggee cult is responsible for their troubles. Later that night, however, Indiana is attacked by a would-be assassin, leading him, Willie and Short Round to an underground temple where the Thuggee worship the Hindu goddess Kali with human sacrifice. The trio discover that the Thuggee, lead by their evil high priest Mola Ram, are in possession of three of the five Sankara stones, and have enslaved the children to mine for the final two stones, which they hope will allow them to rule the world. As Indiana tries to retrieve the stones, he, Willie and Short Round are captured and separated. Indiana is forced to drink a potion called the "Blood of Kali," which places him in a trance-like state called the "Black Sleep of Kali Ma," and begins to mindlessly serve Mola Ram. Willie, meanwhile, is kept as a human sacrifice, while Short Round is put in the mines to labor alongside the enslaved children. Short Round breaks free and escapes back into the temple where Willie is about to be lowered into a pit of lava. He burns Indiana with a torch, shocking him out of the Black Sleep. While Mola Ram escapes, Indiana and Short Round manage to save Willie, retrieve the three Sankara stones and free the village children.

After a mine cart chase to escape the temple, the trio emerge aboveground only to be cornered by Mola Ram and the Thuggee on a rope bridge over a crocodile-infested river. Using a machete stolen from one of the Thuggee warriors, Indiana cuts the rope bridge in half, leaving everyone to hang on for their lives. In one final struggle against Mola Ram for the Sankara stones, Indiana invokes an incantation, causing the stones to glow red hot. Two of the stones fall into the river, while the last falls into and burns Mola Ram's hand. Indiana catches the now-cool stone while Mola Ram falls into the river below and is torn to pieces by the crocodiles. A squadron of British riflemen from Pankot arrive to apprehend the remaining Thuggee. Indiana, Willie and Short Round return victoriously to the Indian village with their sacred Sankara stone and missing children.

Tied at 2-2

I was very disappointed because I was hoping that Ginebra will win the game last night. But unfortunately, they lost with just 2 points with San Miguel. David Noel's free throws would have helped the team win the game. Now that the game standing is tied between the two teams, we can expect an exciting game next week. Both teams are really good and I feel sad about Ildefonso and Pingris because I can hear that most fans in Araneta last night are still mad of what they did with the Ginebra fan on their last game. They shouldn't have done that to the fan even if it's Ginebra's fan or not. They are all professional so they need to act as a professional. Most fans are really frustrated that night because Ginebra didn’t won the game. Well, that is basketball and we all know that basketball is an exciting game. It is so exciting that some people would take it seriously.

Google Tips

Most people are using Google to search the net every day. I’m just quite disappointed because I thought that Chun Li will be an Asian looking girl but I am not aware that she’s only half Chinese. Kristin Kreuk did a good job playing the role of Chun Li and she’s really pretty. It has a good story but I thought I will see Chun Li wear the blue chinese dress that she’s always wearing in the video games because I am big fan of the game. I just wish that they’ve been more faithful on the game like choosing Asian girl to play the role of Chun Li because she’s from China (I’m not saying that I don’t like Kristin Kreuk.) and I can’t even identify Bison. But overall the film is OK. =)

<itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit><itunes:subtitle>I watched Street Fighter and all I can say is it is a good film. I remember my dad each time I watch Ginebra because he is a big Ginebra fan for some reason I remember that he always get upset each time Ginebra losses on their game. I’m wondering why they have lots of fans? Hmmm…. Well San Miguel is also a good team so they will be up for a challenge. I just wish that they will win the finals. They won last night and I thought I will be late for work because the game ended around 10:15PM and my shift starts at 11PM so you can all imagine how fast I walked after getting off the bus just to get to work on time. =)

Mom’s going to be Upset of Michael’s Death

Michael Jacskson died today and my mom will definitely going to be upset. I just read on the news that the prices for flu dugs has surged three times higher than their regular drugs. It would be nice for those drug manufacturers but how about those people who cannot afford it? Tamiflu which is a popular brand of anti-viral drug oseltamivir which is used to treat symptoms of the A(H1N1) virus now sells at 150.00 Php per capsule. Based on what I’ve read the first batch of 750,00 capsules of the said drug was purchased by Department of Health (DOH) at 40.00 Php each before A(H1N1) virus has started spreading across the globe. It’s right, now that the demand is high; it is time for those manufacturers to take advantage of the situation to earn some money (lol). I wish that it is not happening because I feel sorry for those who wants to avoid A(H1N1) but cannot afford it. But for me if you eat healthy foods everyday and have proper exercise to keep you healthy is already fine to avoid such virus. We don’t need to spend that much to keep away from that virus and all we need to have is a strong and healthy body.

Internet Over Television

I bought a new desktop last month and then since I bought it I noticed that I spent too much time in that PC than watching TV. Right now, I am thinking if you can watch everything and do almost everything in a computer? What is the use of TV? It may be correct but for me watching a movie using your TV is much better than watching a movie in a computer and besides not all the shows that you want to watch can be found in the internet which means there are things which big search engines such as Google can find. I’d say they are both great to have because each of them has different features which makes them different from each other.

Running Late

I was running late for work so I decided to take an ordinary bus because they said that they are fast unlike the air conditioned buses. The bus started driving even if I was just about the get on it. I was scared about what happen but because I am more concerned on being late so I forgot to complain to the driver (lol). That driver was driving like we were being chased it was so fast that I was afraid that we might get into an accident. I can't wait to get to my destination I wanted to get off the bus but I don't know what to do. Now I understand why buses always get into accidents because they like to compete with other buses. I noticed that they keep on identifying the route of the other buses and if it's the same as their route they will need to get ahead of that bus. I just wish that they consider the safety of their passengers and I don't know their reason for doing it but it will only cause them more trouble if they get into an accident. The funny thing is I am 19mins early off my schedule guess taking an ordinary bus really helped me but again they need to consider their passenger's safety.

Irresponsible Parenting

Every day I usually take a jeep to go to MRT station and on the way there are little kids that will go to every jeep and will wipe your shoes and will ask for money. These kids are really young I would say around four to 12 years old. My friends will tell me to not give them anything because they will only continue doing the same thing if there are still those persons who will give them money. Then I thought “What about their parents? Aren’t they’re afraid for their kids?” They can get into an accident if they keep on doing it. Those kids parents will need to learn to take responsibility on raising their kids properly and let their kids be kids in a way that they won’t have to do those things in order to earn money because they should be in school and playing with other kids. I felt like I need to give them money but I guess if I will do that I will only give their parents a reason to be more irresponsible.

I don’t think it is our government’s problem that these kids are forced to earn money on the streets but instead people should learn to be more responsible. If you plan to have your own family don’t you think you should check first if you have the capability to raise your own family? Think about what will happen to your kids and how can you give your family a better future.

credits to My Sarisari Store (for the picture)

Asian Horror Movies are the Best

When it comes to horror movies, Asian horror movies are the best. Because it is really unique unlike those Hollywood horror movies because Asian movies are based in chills while the films made in Hollywood are based on gore. They even made a remake of some of Asian movies such as The Grudge, The Eye, Dark Water and etc. This proves that they also liked horror movies produced here in Asia. The scariest movie that I’ve watched is The Shutter. The story is really good and almost all the scenes on this film are scary I can’t even watch it just by myself. Maybe it is because of the Asian culture which makes our films really scary because of our beliefs which makes seem more natural to its viewers. No matter the reason is they cannot beat Asian horror movies even if they made remakes of Asian films

Found Him at Last (Show Wesugi)

I love anime and I have a collection of anime videos as well as their soundtracks.
