We extend our sympathy to Sue Gill in the death of her sister, Kay Springfield. Arrangements are as follows:

Visitation: Tuesday evening, February 22nd, 6-8pm at Chandler Funeral Home in Vernon, AL (8901 Highway 18; Vernon, AL 35592)

Funeral: Wednesday afternoon, February 23rd, 2pm at Christian Chapel Church of Christ in Vernon (38614 Hwy 17; Vernon, AL 35592); Mrs. Springfield will lie in state from 1pm-2pm.

We’ve only had some very light occasional sleet here at the building. Nothing to cause any problems yet. As of 4:25, we will be having our Sunday evening worship at 5:00. Everyone is encouraged to use caution and be safe. If you can make it to the service, we look forward to seeing you in a few minutes.

We extend our sympathy to the family of brother Jerry Jenkins and the Roebuck Parkway Church of Christ (where he preached for 44 years). Brother Jerry passed away late Monday evening.

Roebuck is holding a prayer service tonight (Tuesday) at 7pm.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5pm-9pm and 1pm-2pm on Thursday. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2pm. Everything will take place at the Roebuck Parkway building in Birmingham.

The family requests memorials be made to Jefferson Christian Academy, Freed-Hardeman University, Maywood Christian Camp, or Rainbow Omega.
