On Saturday, October 24 at 8:30 a.m., come for breakfast at the home of Henry and Carolyn Yoder (10525 West 325 North, Shipshewana). Following breakfast, Freeman Miller, who works with Amish entrepreneurs to promote their businesses, will explain his role, how he helps businesses succeed, and the challenges Amish businesses face as they interact with the broader business world. After the program, the group will tour three Amish woodworking businesses in LaGrange County.

The tour provides an excellent chance to learn about the marketing strategies that the Amish employ and about the unique challenges and opportunities they have. It’s also a great way to get acquainted with several small and family businesses.
