Because there were so many different artists involved we decided to make the catalogue as a collection of posters. Each artist is presented on one sheet and every sheet is loosely assembled, only kept together by the cover:

Neona is a font in the spirit of the standard ‘no frills’ sans-serif 4-inch-high neon sign text used in cheap bars, coffee shops, bakeries and tattoo parlors around the world.

Die Arrangements der Panels wechseln laufend, und ein besonders eindrucksvolles graphisches Mittel sind extreme Naheinstellungen der Figuren, die von einem computergenerierten Farbraster für die Grüngrautöne besonders klug unterstützt werden. Die Proportionen der Akteure sind leicht ins Groteske verschoben, und auf dem Weg durch die Fabrik ist es unmöglich, die räumliche Orientierung zu behalten – all das trägt zur subtilen Verunsicherung des Lesers bei.

Mit einem Satz: „Die Menschenfabrik” ist ein richtig guter Comic. […]
