	Dr. Dahl is a 2000 graduate of Saint James School in Montgomery, Alabama, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Clemson University in 2004, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. In 2008, she received the Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and is currently an Ophthalmology Resident at UAB. 
	Dr. Denney is a 2000 graduate of Mountain Brook High School in Mountain Brook, Alabama, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Georgia in 2004, where he was a member of Tau Epsilon Phi fraternity. Dr. Denney received the Doctor of Medicine degree in 2008 from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and is now a third year Surgery Resident at UAB. 
	A May wedding is planned at The Club in Birmingham, Alabama. </description>

	The groom is the son of Ms. Myra B. Sabel and Mr. &amp; Mrs. Keith Sabel of Montgomery, AL. He is the grandson of the late Mr. Isaac D. Baker of Sylacauga, AL, the late Mrs. Jimmie D. Baker of Sylacauga, AL, and the late Mr. &amp; Mrs. Jimmie L. Sabel of Montgomery, AL. 
	The couple was married in a private ceremony at the home of the groom's father with the Honorable Judge Sharon Yates officiating. The family then enjoyed a lovely dinner at Chop House, Montgomery, AL. 
	Miss Coker graduated from Auburn University in May of 2009, with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. She is currently employed with River Bank and Trust, Montgomery, AL. 
	Mr. Sabel graduated from Auburn University in December of 2009, with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. He is currently employed with Sabel Steel, Montgomery, AL. 
	The bride's sister, Emma M. Coker, served as the maid of honor, and the groom's father, Keith Sabel, was the best man. 
	The couple will travel to Cancun for their honeymoon and will return to their home in Montgomery, AL.</description>

Local and federal authorities worked together as part of the first phase of operation Clean Slate. Conducted over the past three months, it sought to locate and verify addresses for 550 convicted sex offenders.
Marty Keely, U.S. Marshal for the northern district of Alabama, says 441 were living at their listed address.
He says there are a total 957 convicted sex offenders living in Jefferson County.
The residences of other offenders will be verified in phase two of the operation, which began Thursday.</description>

	James is a 2nd Lieutenant Chaplain Candidate in the Army National Guard. He is currently attending Liberty University for a Master's Degree in Church Planning and Evangelism. 	Heather is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Byrd of Hope Hull; and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Elmore and the late Mr. Cecil Davis of Montgomery; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Byrd of Luverne. 
	Kirk is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Newman of Crown City, Ohio; and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Newman of Huntington, WV and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wentz of Proctorville, Ohio. 
	Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a stunning ivory couture formal gown by En Vogue Bride. The sheer silk organza strapless satin ball gown was draped with a stunning floral layout of Guipure Lace intricately floating from the corset bodice and embellished with hand-beaded appliqu&amp;eacute;s. The back of the gown, laced up with a satin ribbon, led to a semi cathedral train also with hand-beaded appliqu&amp;eacute;s. The bride carried a bouquet of white hydrangea and ivory peonies. 
	The bride was attended by Matron of Honor, Chelsie Cornelius of Fayetteville, NC. Bridesmaids were Gretchen and Haley Byrd, sister-in-law and niece of the bride, of Montgomery; Shellee Robbins, friend of the bride, of Wetumpka; and Kristen Newman, sister of the groom, of Harrison, New Jersey. Flower girls were Madeline Spagnuolo, niece of the groom, and Kilee Robbins. 
	The groom was attired in a Taupe colored tuxedo with a boutonniere of green hydrangea and white gerber daisies. Scott Eveler of Fayetteville, NC served as Best Man. 
	Groomsmen were Brett Newman, brother of the groom, of Crown City, Ohio; Clint Byrd, brother of the bride, of Montgomery; Andy Cornelius of Fayetteville, NC; and Jeff Leahy of Spring Lake, NC. Master Hayden Byrd, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer. Hayden carried the rings on a champagne satin pillow monogrammed with the bride and groom's initials. They all dressed identical to the groom. 
	The bride's cake was three-tiered ivory, centered on a silver plateau, with fresh flowers topped with an �N'. The groom's cake was two-tiered chocolate, topped and surrounded with fruit. Both cakes were made by Mrs. Lalar Tomberlin, aunt of the bride of Luverne. 
	Firewater of Luverne provided music for the entire celebration. 
	The Newmans reside in Raeford, North Carolina.</description>

	Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Monique Lhuillier satin ball gown of ivory silk caricata satin. The strapless, fully ruched bodice had a sweetheart neckline and was accented with a beaded belt. The skirt was draped in French bustles and finished with a chapel length train and satin covered buttons down the back. The full length veil of silk illusion was trimmed in silver to match the beaded belt. Swarovski crystals were scattered throughout the tulle, creating a soft sparkle to illuminate the veil. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white hydrangeas, Virginia roses, cream mini callas, lily of the valley, and white stephanotis encrusted with pearls. 
	Catherine Parnell Matthews, sister of the bride, served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Jeanie Montiel Parnell, sister-in-law of the bride, Althea Amina Alonto, Giana Marie Murphy Humphrey, Lindsay Yarbrough Lee, Whitney Lauren Pozgar, and Sarah Anne Sparks, all of At-lanta, Georgia. 
	The groom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Nathan Whitlee McMullin and Corey Laine McMullin, brothers of the groom, Justin Matthew Parnell, brother of the bride, Eric Thomas Matthews, brother-in-law of the bride, Eric Thomas Saul Bern of Montgomery, Christopher Alan DePalma of Atlanta, Georgia, and John West Martin, Jr. of Birmingham, Alabama. 
	Following the ceremony, the bride's parents entertained the bridal party and guests at a reception at the home of the bride. The Tip Tops from Mobile provided music for the evening.

Light the Night Walk for Leukemia and Lymphoma The Light the Night walk is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's evening walk and fundraising event. Infant Safety/CPR class is designed to help parents create a safe environment for their child. Child-proofing methods are discussed. Pre-Diabetes (Can I prevent type 2 diabetes?) Baptist Health's 90-minute class focuses on the risk factors of developing type 2 diabetes and what can be done to delay or prevent the disease. The focus will be on the positive effects of regular activity and weight loss. Practical ways to get moving and to decrease extra calories will be discussed. Participants will be encouraged to set personal goals and will be given the option to weigh in at the center to monitor their progress. Joint Venture classes. Before your total joint surgery at Jackson Hospital, you and a coach are required to attend a pre-surgical class. Mary's Haven Crisis Pregnancy Center in Prattville needs volunteers who really want to put their heart into the center. Lifeline, a personal emergency response program started by Baptist Health in 1982, is a way for people to get help when they are unable to get assistance for themselves.
