Responsible for coordinating the admission of patients for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit through receiving referrals, performing detailed preadmission evaluations and acting as a liaison between referring facilities, payers, our facility, and Medical Director. This includes, but is not limited to, business development for Rehabilitation through marketing to prospective patients and their families, referring facility staff and physicians, insurance companies, community, and any other potential stakeholders. Takes an active role in supporting and contributing to the goals and objectives of the Memorial Healthcare System. This position reports to the Director of Business Development and Physician Relations.


Experience:
Requires a clinically licensed professional (Registered Nurse, Licensed Physical Therapist, Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, or Licensed Practical Nurse). This position requires travel throughout the tri-county area.
