<description><![CDATA[<br>IT - System Analyst, Information Technology.<br><br>The person in this position is responsible for project management and implementation of the Atlantic Coast Health Information Exchange (ACHIE). This individual must have broad knowledge of application integration and data flow. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing and maintaining interfaces between the ACHIE and third party EHR vendors,and project management of external resources. As part of the ACHIE project implementation team, this individual will provide expert and creative solutions to user requirements and problems. This individual must take the initiative to research, resolve and respond to inquiries during the deployment and ongoing maintenance/support phases of the ACHIE.<br><br>This position requires understanding of easy and timely routing/filing of lab results, radiology reports and transcribed documents to physician office practices.<br><br>Specific responsibilities during the implementation and operational portions of the EHR/ACHIE Program are detailed below.<br><br>Implementation Responsibilities:<br>Provides technical expertise to HIE<br>Demonstrates the ability to communicate using HL7 terminology or experience in HL7 analysis<br>Familiarity with CCD or CCA concepts<br>Analyze and resolve data integreation issues between multiple applications<br>Testing interfaces to physician practices EHRs<br>Analysis of HIE interface setup and configuration<br>Go-Live support of end-users<br><br>Operational Responsibilities:<br>Project Manage simultaneous implementations to multiple software vendors.<br>Provide on-going operational support (including training) for ACHIE solutions.<br>System documentation by utilizing tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Sharepoint<br>Test system upgrades.<br><br>Core competencies include the ability to communicate effectively, work as an independent professional, be self-motivated, and work effectively in a team setting to facilitate timely and successful EHR systems deployment and program execution.<br><br><br> <b>Experience:</b><br>This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 1-3 years equivalent experience. A Bachelors degree with concentration in Information Technology is preferred. This position also requires advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, and exceptionally strong organizational skills. This individual must have broad knowledge of application data flow, as well as extensive experience in the on-site installation and support of HIM applications. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to triaging support calls, troubelshooting issues, and application workflows to support the organizational needs of HIM applications related to the Enterprise Systems Program. As part of the project implementation team, this individual will provide expert and creative solutions to user requirements and problems. This individual must take the initiative to research, resolve and respond to inquiries during the deployment and ongoing maintenance/support phases of the program. Works with Application Programmers and Systems Analysts to understand applications and technical environments.<br><br>This position requires knowledge of processes and workflows common in inpatient and ambulatory settings, in addition to advanced computer skills.
