      The Telugu movie extravaganza Baahubali, is arguably the most awaited and expensive movie ever made in India, written and directed by S S Rajamouli. It’s said to be special effects special battle epic.A real action, religious movie with a whopping budget of 175 crore, and the movie is divided in two parts. The poster of Baahubali which has a measurement of 51599 sqft done by Impresario was
unveiled at the grand Music Launch at Kochi recently.      The budget will definitely be over 250 crore for both the parts said the national award winning director Rajamouli. It’s produced under the banner of Arka Media Works in Telegu, and by Karan Johar’s Dharam Productions’ (in Hindi).

Baahubali means the one with strong arms, is about two warring brothers battling for the control of an ancient kingdom. The cast includes Prabhas as Amarendra Bāhubali , Rana Daggubati as Bhallala Deva , Anushka Shetty as Devasena and Tamannaah as Avantika.Bāhubali required an extensive cast of 2,000 extras for its battle scenes, with more than 1,000 dressed as soldiers in full costume. About 500-600 technicians, as well as horses and elephants, were also utilized, and 600 artists from 17 studios across India worked on CGI visual effects.

Sapthamasree Thaskaraha Movie Review

'Sapthamasree Thaskaraha' is hilarious.

A hilarious heist drama executed without exasperating
digressions. That would sum up the curiously titled 'Sapthamasree
Thaskaraha',a movie which makes use of inventive humour with the
adorable Thrissur slang to the hilt. The narration gives it the
cutting edge,that the half baked plot fails to provide.Seven convicts
who happen to find a common ground while in the jail,to pull off what
is their forte,theft.The movie is all about thieves and a theft for
settling a score.

The penchant of the director to pander towards the absurd is
very much apparent in each and every frame of 'Sapthamsree
Thaskaraha'. It does not follow any particular pattern or adheres to a
straightforward narrative style.One does not feel a sense of
completion as the movie draws to a close but the film is surely a case
of delightful parts not exactly adding upto a whole.

നാലോളം പതിറ്റാണ്ട് മലയാള സിനിമയുടെ മേല്‍വിലാസമായിരുന്നു, 'പ്രേംനസീര്‍' എന്ന ആള്‍ ടൈം സൂപ്പര്‍സ്റ്റാര്‍.

1951ലെ ത്യാഗസീമയാണ് അബ്ദുള്‍ഖാദര്‍ എന്ന ചിറയിന്‍കീഴ്‌ക്കാരന്‍ ആദ്യം അഭിനയിച്ച ചിത്രം. 1952ല്‍ പുറത്തുവന്ന 'മരുമകള്‍' ആയിരുന്നു ആദ്യം റിലീസ് ചെയ്ത ചിത്രം. അബ്ദുള്‍ഖാദര്‍ എന്ന പേരിനെ 'പ്രേം നസീര്‍' എന്നാക്കി മാറ്റിയത് 'തിക്കുറിശ്ശി' സുകുമാരന്‍ നായര്‍ ആയിരുന്നു. ഒരു കാലഘട്ടത്തിന്റെ മലയാളികളുടെ മനസ്സിലെ പുരുഷസങ്കല്‍പ്പങ്ങളുടെ സാക്ഷാത്കാരമായിരുന്നു പ്രേംനസീറിന്റെ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങള്‍. ഗാനഗന്ധര്‍വന്‍ 'യേശുദാസും, പ്രേം നസീറും, ഒന്നിച്ചപ്പോയെല്ലാം മലയാള 'സംഗീത' ചരിത്രത്തിലെ അനശ്വരഗാനങ്ങളായിരുന്നു പിറവിയെടുത്തത് . ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ ചിത്രങ്ങളില്‍ നായകനായ ലോകറെക്കോര്‍ഡ് .ഒരു നായികയോടൊപ്പം [ഷീല] 130ചിത്രങ്ങളില്‍ നായകനായ റെക്കോര്‍ഡ് . ഒരുവര്‍ഷം തുടര്‍ച്ചയായി 39 ചിത്രങ്ങളില്‍ നായകനായി അഭിനയിച്ച റെക്കോര്‍ഡ് . ഒരു സംവിധായകന്‍റെ[ശശികുമാര്‍] 85ചിത്രങ്ങളില്‍ നായകനായ റെക്കോര്‍ഡ്. 1966ലെ 'കുഞ്ഞാലിമരക്കാര്‍' മുതല്‍ 1983ലെ 'ജസ്റ്റിസ് രാജ'വരെ 34ഓളം ഡബിള്‍ റോളുകള്‍. 1971ലെ 'എറണാകുളംജംഗ് ഷന്‍', 1972ല്‍ പുഷ്പാഞ്ജലി, 1984ല്‍'അമ്മേനാരായണ' തുടങ്ങി 3ത്രിബിള്‍ റോളുകള്‍.37 ത്മിഴ് ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍, 7തെലുങ്ക് ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ ,2കന്നഡ ചിത്രം, തുടങ്ങി ഒട്ടനവധി തകര്‍ക്കപ്പെടാന്‍ കഴിയാത്ത റെക്കോര്‍ഡ്‌കള്‍ ബാക്കി വെച്ചായിരുന്നു, മലയാള സിനിമയുടെ നിത്യ വസന്തവും, നിത്യ ഹരിത നായകനുമായ " പ്രേംനസീര്‍ " മണ്മറഞത്

'നിഷേധി' യായ ഒരു പുതിയ ഹീറോ യുടെ വരവറിയിച്ചു കൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു 'സുകുമാരന്‍ ' മലയാള സിനിമയിലേക്ക് കടന്നുവന്നത്. ആക്ഷന്‍ രംഗങ്ങളിലെ ഒറിജിനാലിറ്റിയും, ഡയലോഗ് ഡെലിവറിയിലെ ചൂടും ,ചൂരും, സുകുമാരനെ വളരെ വേഗം മലയാള സിനിമയുടെ ഒഴിച്ചുകൂടാന്‍ പറ്റാത്ത താരമാക്കിമാറ്റി.
1948-മാര്‍ച്ച്-18നു 'എടപ്പാളില്‍' ജനിച്ച സുകുമാരന്റെ യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ നാമം 'എടപ്പാൾ പൊന്നങ്കുഴിവീട്ടിൽ സുകുമാരൻ നായര്‍ ' എന്നായിരുന്നു .
അക്ഷര കുലപതി M.T.വാസുദേവന്‍നായര്‍ രചനയും,സംവിധാനവും ,നിര്‍മ്മാണവും ,നിര്‍വ്വഹിച്ച 1973ലെ 'നിര്‍മ്മാല്യം' ആയിരുന്നു ആദ്യം പുറത്തു വന്ന ചിത്രം .

പ്രേം നസീര്‍,ജയന്‍,സോമന്‍ ,മമ്മൂട്ടി , മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍,തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രതിഭാസങ്ങള്‍ മലയാള സിനിമയെ അടക്കിഭരിച്ചപ്പോയും 'സുകുമാരന്‍' വേറിട്ട 'ഇമേജു'മായ് വെട്ടി തിളങ്ങി തന്നെ യായിരുന്നു പ്രേക്ഷകരുടെ മനസ്സില്‍ നിലയുറപ്പിച്ചത്.
250ഓളം ചിത്രങ്ങളില്‍ അഭിനയിച്ച സുകുമാരന്‍ 1978ല്‍ M.T.വാസുദേവന്‍ നായര്‍ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത 'ബന്ധനം ' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ മികച്ച നടനുള്ള 'സംസ്ഥാന അവാര്‍ഡും സ്വന്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. 1985ല്‍ കെ .ജി .ജോര്‍ജ്ജിന്റെ സംവിധാനത്തില്‍ 'ഇരകള്‍' , 1986ല്‍ T.S.മോഹന്‍ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തു 'മമ്മൂട്ടിയും ,മോഹന്‍ലാലും ,അഭിനയിച്ച 'പടയണി ' തുടങ്ങിയ ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ സുകുമാരന്‍റെ നിര്‍മ്മാണത്തില്‍ പുറത്തുവന്നവയായിരുന്നു. മലയാളികളുടെ പ്രിയ സംവിധയകന്‍ 'സത്യന്‍ അന്തിക്കാട്' സുകുമാരനെ നായകനാക്കി കൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു ആദ്യ ചിത്രമായ 'കുറുക്കന്റെ കാല്ല്യാണം' അണിയിച്ചൊരുക്കിയത്. അങ്ങാടി യിലെ ' ഗോപി , അന്ഗീകാരത്തിലെ 'രവി ', ചാകര യിലെ 'ദേവരാജന്‍ ' ,സംഘര്‍ഷത്തിലെ 'ജഗദീഷ്, അഹിംസയിലെ 'ദേവന്‍' തുടങ്ങിയവ സുകുമാരന്റെ ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളായിരുന്നു. 1997-ജൂണ്‍ -16 നായിരുന്നു ഹൃദയാഘാത അസുഖത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്നായിരുന്നു 'സുകുമാരന്‍' അന്തരിച്ചത്‌ .

'ഭരത് ഗോപി'യെന്ന അനുഗ്രീതകഴിവിനെ അങ്ങേയറ്റം ഉപയോഗിച്ച സംവിധായകനായിരുന്നു കെ ജി ജോര്‍ജ് . മമ്മൂട്ടി യോടൊപ്പം വളരെ ആവേശപൂര്‍വവും പ്രതീക്ഷയോടെയും ചെയ്ത പിരിയഡ് മൂവി 'ഇലവന്ക്കോട് ദേശത്തിന്റെ പരാജയം രണ്ടുപതിറ്റാണ്ട് പിന്നിട്ട കെ ജി ജോര്‍ജിന്റെ കരിയറില്‍ കനത്തആഘാതമായിരുന്നു ഏല്‍പ്പിച്ചത് .
