<p>There is nothing better than doubling our pleasure with a simple action. Perfectly pairing a wine to a dish heightens our appreciation of the wine and the food and floods our senses with an interplay of flavors, scents and memories. Dinners that do that become memorable, and are what many of us attempt to deliver at every dinner party. But what ought we to look out for when pursuing this match-making? Surely the &#8216;white wine to fish&#8217; and &#8216;red wine to beef&#8217; is too simple, and indeed it is. There are thousands of wines out there and they are not so easily divided.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s your chance to come and learn how to pair wines with David Singer, a well respected Sommelier, who has worked in some of the finest establishments in New York, New Orleans, and Boston with a teaching position at Switzerland&#8217;s premier Hotelerie School in Lucerne. While he worked in New York, he was named the best Sommelier in Manhattan by the New York Press. Pairing wines with the innovative and sumptuous cuisine of chef Mike Goguen of Melt Catering, these two connoisseurs par excellence will give you the knowledge you need to create your own memorable moments and make your dishes topics of conversation long after.</p>
<p>Together, David and Mike present a fun, interactive class, where everyone is given a chance to ask questions. With their extensive experience the two will help everyone to better use their senses to discover the amazing hidden potential in wine and food. What further makes this event so special is that both of these men are keen to share. They are not people who aim to hide their trade secrets, but have a passion for introducing people to their sensory world and getting them excited about food and wine. This is an exclusive chance to take a class with two experts wanting to share their knowledge with you.</p>
<p>This event is limited in spaces and spaces allotted on a &#8216;first come first served&#8217; basis. The cost of the class is CHF 150.- and includes<br />
gourmet food and wine pairings.</p>
