You won't believe how many ways there are to use die cuts! Given the proliferation of die ideas out there I thought it was high time that I put a little work into curating another round-up post to share with you. I learned a trick or two...

Perhaps you don't have very many dies? Or you prefer machine die cutting?

The majority of these techniques would also work beautifully with machines: Silhouette, Cricut, or Brother scan & cut - whatever you've got goin' on. Most are material based, using ink, paint, glitter and so on for their oomph factor. :)

Many of these ideas have video tutorials included while some are simply photos of gorgeous ideas. Hope you are as inspired as I was by all these clever people!

Mustache card - free .studio print & cut file (+desperately seeking file-sharing advice) :)

Doin' some blog housekeeping. You guys might remember this mustache card. I made a print & cut file in case anyone else wants to make a quick (and unforgivably punny) masculine card. Here's the inside...

The cut file is linked in this blog post. It's intended to fit an A2 sized card (4.25" x 5.5").
The triangle lining the envelope is also linked there for free should it tickle your fancy.

P.S. I'm looking for file-sharing technical advice...

I would love to know the most efficient method to share .studio print & cut files with those of you who use Brother Scan n cut, Cricut etc. as other file types. I'm not sure which is the best If anyone has any advice on how to do that I'd be delighted to know how to share those different formats with you all.

.....Finally! my free ornate flower cut file is back!

Some good news to those of you who might want to use my 6-petal ornate flower cut file. I finally managed to retrieve the files! (Tragically I had lost my Silhouette library with the upgrade & lost all of my schtuff with a PC crash.) Now much of it is back, however, and here are the files in case you'd like them. Enjoy!

The white flowers have a soft flocked texture because they're made with cardstock that I covered with Golden's Light Molding Paste and then texturized with a wooden Batik block. The black flower is made from Core-dinations cardstock.

This digital work is offered up for free, but mainly for personal use or handmade sale items only.
