50 Cent’s MTV reality series - The Money and the Power

According to recent reports, 50 Cent will launch next month his new MTV reality series, titled The Money and the Power, due to his entrepreneurial skills. The show will feature 14 aspiring moguls living together in a Brooklyn warehouse - “Camp Curtis” - who will have to go through many innovative challenges. Each week, 50 will eliminate a contestant based on how much knowledge they retained from the previous challenge. Celebrities like LL Cool J, Aubry O’Day of Danity Kane, Lloyd Banks, and blogger Miss Info are going to be the surprise guests in the series.

Britney Spears show interrupted by ‘marijuana’ smoke

Britney Spears halted her show in Vancouver last night after just three songs because it was too smokey in the arena.

The singer who is currently on the road supporting her ‘Circus’ album, walked off stage and remained backstage for over 20 minutes while an announcer told the crowd the show would not continue if people in the audience continued to smoke weed and cigarettes.

The announcer told the crowd it was “unsafe” for Spears and her dancers to continue to perform in that environment, reports Perez Hilton.

A statement released to the gossip site said: “We want to apologize to all the fans who attended our Vancouver show tonight for the brief pause in Britney’s set. Crew members above the stage became ill due to a ventilation issue.”

Production staff were reportedly worried that crew working high up would become dizzy from the smoke.

Spears herself then issued an anti-marijuana message at the end of her show, telling the audience: “Thanks Vancouver. You were wonderful. Drive safe. Don’t smoke weed!”

The BET Awards ceremony was tapped recently and the honorees at the event included Alicia Keys, Tyra Banks, Cornel West, Maxine Waters, Richard D. Parsons. The show also featured performances by Wyclef, Stevie Wonder, and Brian McKnight and the show is schedule to air on February 22nd.

Meanwhile it has been reported that protesters came out in force at the BET Honors award show taping in Washington D.C. on January 12th. Members of the Enough Is Enough campaign carried signs that read “I’m not a pimp,” as well as “I am not a gangster.”

Members of the Enough Is Enough campaign have called the BET Honors show simply a way to disguise the negative images regularly broadcast on BET, and to create a false sense of positivity coming from the network and in the end but not the last they “degrades women of color…negatively stereotypes black men and glorifies criminal activity.”

Is that really a bad thing? I mean, as long as you’re eating properly and you aren’t pushing your body to the point of shut down, then simply being militant about not skipping a workout is just a good work ethic, right? I would argue that it is completely healthy. Of course, there is a difference between not skipping a workout and working out three times a day, seven days a week. But Larter doesn’t go overboard

f someone told you they work out for 25 minutes, three or four times a week, you wouldn’t say they were going overboard. Allowing for three days minimum of rest per week gives your body plenty of time to recover from most workouts.

Having dedication to a workout routine that allows your body the opportunity to recover is perfectly acceptable, and arguably responsible. One should only be worried when the line between dedication and true obsession is crossed, which can lead to serious health issues. If you feel like you may have a problem with working out too much, you should consult your doctor immediately.

But as for Ali Larter, she’s just doing a great job with sticking to her workouts! And it shows, having graced the cover of Shape Magazine’s edition of last year.

The Academy Award-winning Celebrity mother is considering to star in Tomb Raider 3, which will be based on the latest version of the video game, Underworld. The actress is in the U.S ahead of the premiere of new movie Changeling, which will mark her first official public appearance since she gave birth to her precious twins.

The producers would love to get Angelina back. This would be a far darker movie with more emphasis on storyline.
