Establish radiation protection programs. Evaluate data from radiological operations to develop performance data such as effluent data, contamination control data, and radiation exposure data. Develop programs to solve radiological safety needs in the areas of technique and methodology. Perform audits on a variety of operational facilities to detect needed upgrade.

Possess a degree in&amp;nbsp;radiological engineering/health physics from an ABET accredited university. Specific&amp;nbsp;radiological engineering experience in design, analysis, safety and code compliance with applications in commercial, industrial, and nuclear facilities.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 5 years experience&amp;nbsp;at DOE site. Minimum experience of five plus (5) years radiological engineering/health physics. Current 40 hour OSHA training. NRRPT. Characterization experience. Decontamination and Decommissioning (D&amp;amp;D) experience. Wage commensurate with education and experience Must be able to pass a drug and background check. Must be a US citizen and able to be badged at a Nuclear site. Plan and conduct Job Hazard Analyses. Prepare work control documents. Identify potential risks and impacts to schedule and cost.&amp;nbsp; Interface with field supervision, safety and health, radiological controls, characterization, environmental, and waste management personnel. Provide technical support to field supervision during execution of work control documents. Prepare subcontract documents, including scopes of work, technical specifications, and cost estimates. Direct field activities in the execution of work control documents. Wage commensurate with education and experience level.
