		<description><![CDATA[This past July 4th weekend, brought another Autumn Society show to the city of Philadelphia.  This time the show featured illustrations and art created around 1930&#8217;s and 1940&#8217;s cartoons and animations. I did a Popeye influenced piece with a guest appearance featuring tattoo legend Norman &#8220;Sailor Jerry&#8221; Collins.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This past July 4th weekend, brought another Autumn Society show to the city of Philadelphia.  This time the show featured illustrations and art created around 1930&#8217;s and 1940&#8217;s cartoons and animations. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Opening on May 1st 2009, myself and 19 other classmates will be exhibiting selected works from our thesis projects this past year at the School Of Visual Arts. Part our promotion for the show was developing a poster that would showcase fun portraits of all of us, instructors included. I drew <a href="http://edwinvazquez80.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Edwin Vazquez</a> and <a href="http://heejinroh.com/" target="_blank">Heejin Roh </a>did my portrait.  I also had the pleasure of  doing a portrait of SVA alumni, and need I say all around killer artist <a href="http://www.foxnathan.com/" target="_blank">Nathan Fox</a>.</p>
<p>Below is the poster and mentioned portraits of Edwin, Nathan, and myself.</p>
