The school is sponsoring a fundraiser, starting this week, selling coupon discount books. The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise money to purchase Smartboards for the classrooms. Money raised by a grade will go towards that grade's smartboards!

“Beauty is…”
All students, grades K-5, are encouraged to EXPLORE their creativity through this PTA sponsored program. Submit entries in any of the six art categories: Visual Arts, Literature, Musical Composition, Dance Choreography, Photography, and Film/Video Production. Entries should reflect this year’s theme, “Beauty is…”

Submit Your Information!

In order to facilitate communication among families and between the PTA and families, we are asking all families to submit their information. Please include all students in your family enrolled in the Spanish Immersion Program (K-12). Families with two households can submit information for both addresses on separate forms.
Families have the opportunity to opt-out of the printed directory and the PTA email announcement list. We would appreciate all families joining the email list as we are trying to be more environmentally friendly and reduce our paper use.
Even if you do not want to participate in either of these, please submit the form so that you may be contacted by homeroom parents and/or event coordinators if you are interested in volunteering. Information will not be posted online.
All fields marked with * are required. Items in red will be included in the print directory if you choose to be in the directory.

Lavender's Fundraising

New order forms are coming home Friday, August 28 or Monday, August 31 which have the student coded needed to set up an online account for your student to send to out of town family and friends. Set up your student account online at www.shoplavenders.com. Our school code is 101486 and the student ID is on the top left corner of the NEW order form.

Return orders and payment to school by September 9.

Parents, guardians, grandparents, etc are now able to make direct donations to the Maxwell Elementary PTA through PayPal.
You do NOT need to have a PayPal account to use this service with either your bank account or credit card.
The PTA does not have access to any of your confidential account information; all transactions are processed through PayPal's secure servers. We only receive your name and the amount of your donation.
You may also print a donation receipt for tax purposes after completing the transaction.

Join the PTA!

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Maxwell Elementary PTA. Our goal for this year is at least 1 PTA Member per child. Parents, guardians, grandparents, friends, etc. can all join and support the school. Membership is easy; just fill out the form below, attach the $6 membership fee per person (check or money order made payable to Maxwell PTA) and return to your homeroom teacher. You will receive your membership card(s) once your membership is processed. The class with the most members by Sept. 17 will be eligible for a pizza party.

Also, we encourage you to check below to volunteer and to join the Maxwell PTA Yahoo Group email list which will help you stay in touch with all the happenings at Maxwell.
