The cottage also boasts of cable television, VCR, DVD, Internet Broadband, kitchen with microwave, coffeemaker, toaster and utensils, a barbecue grill, patio, picnic table, and lawn furniture for those looking to cook or relax outside.

Only 400 feet to a salt-water bay, the cottage is convenient for swimming, boating, and fishing, great location for kayaking in the Great Bay. Other popular activities in the area include deep-sea fishing and windsurfing. For those looking for adventures in and around town, Falmouth offers four Golf Courses nearby and numerous fine eateries, lovely boutiques and theaters. Downtown Falmouth is only three minutes away by car, and 15 minutes to nearby Woods Hole with its famous Oceanographic Institute and Marine Aquarium, is easily accessible by both car and bicycle. The scenic Falmouth Harbor is home to the Island Queen, one of the ferries that runs between the mainland and Marthas Vineyard (a must day trip).

A Brief Description:

The first bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full on the bottom and a twin on top and the third bedroom has a full size bed.

Area Description:

Narragansett has several great beaches to explore. Roger Wheeler Beach (also known as Sand Hill Cove) is a protected cove, great for little ones. Roger Wheeler offers a playground and craft time. Scarborough State Beach offers body surfing and boogie-board riding on it’s rolling surf. Narragansett Town Beach is a beautiful beach and only a few miles away. The area is great for bike riding, walking or jogging. Deep sea fishing charters, the Block Island Ferry and fish markets are a 5 minute car ride away in the fishing port called Galilee. Explore Newport and tour the mansions or walk the cobblestone wharfs. Shopping and restaurants galore! Nearby are many family and upscale restaurants, as well as supermarkets, ice cream parlors, movie theatres and a bowling alley. Downstairs are two additional bedrooms one with two twins, the other one twin, (and an additional pullout twin upstairs). All beds have new mattress covers, and pillows.
Outside: Large deck (with Weber gas grill, and cooking utensils. Shaded outdoor dining table that seats eight, with two matching chaise lounges (extra chairs and lounges in basement), enclosed outdoor shower, beach chairs (five), two coolers, and quiet hammock on side of house, under trees.
Kitchen: dishwasher, coffee grinder, coffee maker, toaster, gourmet toaster oven, ceramic tea kettle, lobster cooker, full compliment of cookware, bakeware, and utensils.
Living room: Quality stereo system with CD player (lots of CDs jazz, classical, rock, new age), TV with VHS, and DVD players.
Basement: Washing machine, and dryer, Pool table, with ping pong table cover.
Other: We provide toilet paper, dishwasher, and laundry detergents. Please bring your own bed linens and towels.

The Lamberts Cove town beach is a ten-minute drive, as is the Trustees of the Reservations beach near West Tisbury great pond in the wildlife sanctuary and Uncle Seths freshwater pond public swimming area.
Rental is Saturday to Saturday. (This time of year ferry tickets are very available. Not so, in three months time). Arrive at 3:00PM leave at 11:00 AM. Cleaning person will inspect home on departure. Rent: $1350 week/July. Multiple week rentals in July – $1300wk. August rental is $1400 per week and multiple week rentals in August are $1350 per week. There is a $150 cleaning fee for each rental period.

Located 1 1/2 miles from two beaches (20 minute walk) and a 5 minute drive to Hyannis Center.

The home has 3 bedrooms (2 with queen beds and one room with a bunk bed with twin on top, double on bottom along with another twin), a large modern kitchen/dining room combo, living room with gas fireplace, and one bathroom. Fenced-in back yard, safe for kids.

The house is 1 1/2 miles from Craigville Beach, one of the largest and most popular on Cape Cod. Craigville Beach is a warm Nantucket Sound beach with miles of sand. You can purchase a beach parking pass that allows you to park your car at all of the town of Barnstable beaches. That includes the amazing Sandy Neck beach with a lighthouse, 9,000-acre preserve with dunes, bird life, marshes, and shellfish (but a bit of a drive at 10 miles). Covell beach, Keys beach, Veterans beach, Fortes (adjoins Kennedy compound), Kalmus beach are all less than 2 miles from the home. Kalmus beach is one of the best northeast beaches for windsurfing.

The kitchen is fully applianced and includes dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator, toaster oven, blender, coffemaker, and all requisite pots, pans, dinnerware and flatware. Linen/towels provided.

You can bike to the beach or to Main St – we have a couple of bicycles in the garage for your use and there are numerous bike rental places in Hyannis.

The house is a quick drive (less than 2 miles) to vibrant Main St in Hyannis home to the Kennedy Museum, numerous restaurants, ice cream parlors, bookshops, boutiques, a carousel, and family amusement centers.

In Hyannis, you can take a ferry to Marthas Vineyard or Nantucket, catch a whale-watching cruise out of Barnstable Harbor, a deep sea fishing expedition from Hyannis, take a drive along Old Kings Highway and do a little antiqueing, or play a round of golf at any of the nearby golf courses.

We own a week at the gorgeous Harborside Inn on Edgartown Harbor. Unfortunately we cannot use it this year. As you can see on the website (http://theharborsideinn.actwin.com/roomsnrates.html) , our room (garden view) normally rents for $280 a night off season. We are renting it for $840 for the 7 nights – an incredible deal.
