Colorful Yoga Block

I was at the mall yesterday when I saw some colorful yoga block displayed in one of the fitness stores. At first look I thought it is something like a decoration for bedrooms but it turned out to be a stunning and stylish yoga blocks.

It's been a week now since I started my yoga session with mom and I know these yoga blocks would be really cool. I purchased one and used it this morning. It was fun. As always, I picked the green one.

Good Lord! I love this room's color, arrangement and everything about it. My room must look like this after our house renovation next month. I just can't wait to have this kind of room slash paradise. I would also definitely put some protex safes drop boxes so the most important things will be kept securely and safely.

Do you ever think of designs and things that would make your house unique? Do you want to surprise your guests with awesome stuffs every time they visit your house?

For weeks now, I've been searching online for some awesome things to be installed in our new house. We are actually renovating our house after a typhoon hit our city. Today, I am very happy that I found an gorgeous electrical switch plates online. I am sure those plates would be just right for the theme of our new house.

Rebuilding Our Life

The typhoon that killed almost a thousand people last month here in our city was the most devastating ever. For how many year, this place did not experience those kind of rains and strong winds and most especially, those flash flood. We can never forget the 17th day of December, 2011.

It's a New Year and we must not do anything except move on and look forward for a brighter tomorrow. We need those people who can help us to rebuild what was lost and make something out of was is left. We need those rv financing service so we can start again. That would really help us.

It is the the 25th of January 2012 and the 40th day after that huge typhoon hit us. We are thankful that we are still alive until now.

The Gift I Gave Dad

Last Christmas, I gave dad the thing that he asked me hehe, a new Joe Rocket UFO jacket. At first I had a hard time looking for some stores that sell this jacket until I saw one website. I bought, wrapped and gave it to dad last Christmas eve. It was such a great feeling seeing dad smiling and thanking me for what I gave.

Next year, I will make sure that I will give him the thing that he really wants.

Life After Sendong

It is almost a month now but I can still remember the horror of dawn of December 17, 2011. It is still fresh on my mind how we were forced to leave our house because the water was coming in so quickly with mud. Papa shouted so loud ordering us to go out of our house gate as soon as possible.

We were not able to bring a lot of things but we are still thankful that we were able to brought and save a few of those important things: 2 of our 3 dogs (the puppy died T.T), important papers documents, my laptop, my camera and what more could we ask, our LIFE. I still thank the Lord for giving us another chance to live and experience life.

Right now, we are in the process of renovating and healing our home. This will not be easy but I am sure this would not take long. God is with us and He will provide.

I was talking to my friend the other day during a Christmas party and he asked me for suggestions on some personalized anniversary gifts. He told me her girlfriend would want something that can be displayed on her room. Something she can always look at everyday every time she wakes up. So I told my friend to get his girlfriend a big personalized picture frame with a collage of their photos or maybe a portrait painting of her girlfriend. Both can be displayed so I thought it would be cool.

Right now, I still don’t know what my friend bought. It’s still up for him to decide.

Typhoon Sendong in Iligan City

Typhoon Sendong hit Iligan City last December 17, 2011 around 12:30 AM, while most of the people were sleeping including my family. Good thing, I was still working with my online tasks so we were able to evacuate earlier after seeing another families evacuating.

After the flash flood, here's what happened to our house. Sad but I am still thankful that we are safe.

We go back to zero but everything will be fine for sure. :) God will always provide.

I've been a fan of Victoria Secret angels and Maroon 5 so I am just so happy that I saw them on one stage during one of the most creative and colorful fashions shows.

I love all the girls and of course the latest song from Maroon 5. I had a great time listening to these video with my weber speakers. You know, it is always great to listen to music with awesome speakers at home. The sound is just so real and you feel like you are part of the show.

I Miss My Grandma

It's been three months now that we lost our Grandmother. She already went home to God with Jesus in heaven and it broke all our hearts. Granny was fighting cancer for years and even though it was hard to let go, we still did it because we know she would be in a comfortable and beautiful place with no pain, only joy.

I can still remember those times when I buy her some adult diapers so she won't be having a hard time standing up if she needs to pee. Until now, it still broke my heart to know that she is completely gone and will never come back anymore.

I miss my grandmother so much.

The whole family's gonna miss her this Christmas. -_-

She's my older sister. This is her latest picture taken yesterday during a party with her co-teachers. Their supervisor retired so they had this gathering to celebrate a job well done by her supervisor.

I was talking with one of my neighbors yesterday about finding a job that would help her and her three-year old child. She's been having a tough life since she resigned from her previous job. She said she did not like the management and how they treat their people. She asked me if I know an opening for cleaner jobs near our place so she could also look after her daughter while working. I did not promised something but I just told her that I will do my very best to help her find another job.

Living this life is not easy, but if you got some friends or some people who care about your situation, this life would become more meaningful.

Car Lifts

It’s a long yet peaceful day for my family today since we are observing the All Souls’ Day. It’s been years since of solemn tradition that we offer some food for the souls of our relatives who passed away. We remember their lives today and how they touched us in some simple ways.

We were on our way to the cemetery to visit my grandmother and grandfather’s grave when my uncle told us that he can’t take all of us anymore inside the cemetery because there was something wrong with his car. Since we were almost there at the cemetery, my relatives just decided to walk since traffic is also building up. I went with my uncle to this car shop nearby. There, I saw car lifts by asedeals and I knew right at that moment that it was not an ordinary automotive shop because they are using the best of car lifts.

The car was fixed for about an hour and my uncle and I went immediately to our grandparent’s grave. Though there are also lots of people visiting other graves, it was peaceful.

I had a great day.

All Souls' Day 2011

I can still remember when I was still in my grade school days, I always see to it that our plants in the garden are watered and taken cared of. Mom always reminds me of this stuff so every afternoon after school, I always see to it that I finish all these gardening stuffs before playing or making my assignments.

People change. Through the years, these tasks were never my priority anymore. I thought I have lots of things to worry first like my school projects, defense and exams. In short, I lost my interest in gardening because I do not have that ample time to do it.

Today, I decided to do gardening again. I started making composts using our compost bin. I thought this would help our newly planted vegetables in our garden. For sure this would also help our fruit-less trees to give us sweet fruits. I just miss doing this awesome thing.

ATV Accessories

It was a sunny Thursday morning when I visited my friend Louie's pineapple farm. The visit was not actually planned but since I have nothing to do on that day, I decided to go and see him.

After almost two year since the last time I went there, the farm did not change. Although I saw new equipments and new ATV, I knew it was still the same place and I knew I've got a friend in there. Louie welcomed me again and let me rode one of his ATV. I felt lucky because he said that was a new ATV with some new and awesome ATV Accessories. He said he just bought it last month. At first I hesitant but he insisted that I should give it a ride. Since I was really excited (of course I did not show it to him haha), I used his new ATV and he toured me again around the farm with him riding another color blue all-terrain vehicle.

I went home after dinner. I really had a great time. Of course, he did not forget to let me bring some fresh pineapples for me and mom. I can't wait to visit that place again.
