He said, "I don't want to eat Italian baby, lets get mexican instead." When I started to talk to him, he called his other girlfriend, and was talking on his headset to her. WOW!!

I hear my owner trash talk me everyday, threatening to sell me, using me to write up an ad to get rid of me on Craigslist. I'm young, I'd be considered an infant if I were a human. Yet, I hear her telling everyone that she wants to trade me in for an HP dv4t laptop instead. What does this HP have, that I don't?

Sure, my memory may not be so great. I forget some things...but I try really hard. Maybe I don't have Windows, but I think the view is just fine. Hehheh, get it? See, what I did there? Yeah, she doesn't appreciate my jokes either. Speaking of the view, she keeps telling me my graphics card isn't up to par for her. She says, "You'd be good enough for someone else, but you're just not the one for me...". Ouch! Talk about hurtin' a fellow's ego.

I only get to sleep when she sleeps. I've come up with a way to really get under her skin. Sometimes my charger won't work...that's no accident. It's my way of getting back at her for ALWAYS keeping me awake late at night and not letting me catch up on my beauty sleep. Lord knows, she could use some herself.

Worst of all, I have to endure the occasional beating from her brat of a kid...and the daily abuse from him is torture. That kid really pushes my buttons! If he sticks his fingers in my mouth one more time, I am going to bite them off.

My Take On It:

For those that liked Superbad, Adventureland would be an obvious favorite among this crowd. Not only does it have the same director, but much of the humor is the same, although I feel that Adventureland is toned down a bit in comparison to Superbad.

Even though the movie "boasts a fresh young cast", I think they would have been better off sticking Michael Cera in the lead role again. The main character is very much the same, as far as humor and mannerisms go, as the character he plays in Superbad, as well as most movies on Cera's resume. I really feel that if the cast were changed around a bit, Adventureland could have been a sequel to Superbad. I was extremely excited about the castings of Martin Starr and Ryan Reynolds though and wouldn't want them off the cast at all!

The soundtrack is awesome. I know some of the artists are listed above, in the synopsis. The movie takes place in the 80s, so it is full of some of the more popular songs during that time and some of the not-so-popular, but amazing, thanks to the mixtapes made by the two main characters. I just love when mixtapes are brought up in movies. It brings back happy memories. :)

I had not owned a new blow dryer in about 10 years, after replacing my Conair with this Barbar blow dryer recently. Immediately after opening the box, I noticed right away that the blow dryer is even better in person in terms of looks. The fire truck red color is even more vivid than the site can show us. It is a gorgeous color for this particular item.

After one use, I fell in love. Like I said, I had not had a brand new blow dryer in quite some time and I had completely forgotten that blow dryers normally have hot air that comes from them. That was no longer an option on my previous blow dryer, which quite frankly, made me decide to go with drying naturally most days.

There are some things I really love about this item that I must share. First of all, the 11 foot cord is a definite plus with my 12 month old normally crawling around me as I am blow drying my hair. 11 feet gives me enough cord to chase after him. Also, I really love the multiple speeds and heat levels. I didn't know such a thing even existed, but it's really nice to have, especially if you're in a hurry (which, as a mommy, I always am!).

I was just fooling around on Facebook and Leland was getting upset that I wouldn't let him play with the laptop, so I let him control the computer for a minute and he leads me to this picture.

PS Yikes! Alcoholism runs in Ben's family.

PPS Leland is standing on his own and is so proud of himself. Too bad I feel like dog doodoo today and can't keep up with him!

PSPS Another hilarious Leland incident this morning. Today was Ben's first day back to college and his cell phone is not working, so he used an alarm clock to wake up this morning. Well, after he left, Leland and I took a nap in bed. Leland woke up before and started playing with the alarm. He got the radio to turn on and it freaked him the hell out! It was sad but also funny. I had to beat up the alarm to make him feel better.

Alright, I'm done...mainly because I don't know what comes after PSPS. Anybody?

Paul Rudd (Role Models, Knocked Up) and Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) are “howlingly funny” (Peter Travers, Rolling Stone) in “one of the funniest movies of the decade” (Steve Oldfield, “Fox -TV”), a story of a guy with no male friends who finds himself in need of a best man. My Take on It:

Hubby to be and I made sure to see this one in the theater when it first came out...and we were not disappointed. I Love You, Man is laugh out loud hilarious and quotable. John Hamburg directed the film. While researching I did sadly find out that Hamburg is writing the third installment in the Meet the Parents series, Little Fockers. Ouch...but that is another story. I noticed strong similarities in Hamburg's writing and directing to that of Judd Apatow. It is no surprise since they worked together years ago on the TV series "Undeclared", a favorite of mine which did NOT last long enough. The guys work with the same wonderful actors time and again, which is something I like. I love seeing the same actors work together a few times on different projects, as different characters and having totally assorted relationships with one another in each project, whether it be film or television. The last time I saw Jason Segel and Paul Rudd together it was in Knocked Up, where they didn't have many scenes together, so it was nice to see that relationship build.

The guys are hilarious, especially Jason Segel. I'm not just saying that because I have a huge crush on him and was saddened that he didn't nude up in this movie, like he did in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I'm kidding...maybe. I love their chemistry. Between their performances of Rush songs and the made up words and accents coming from Paul Rudd's character, I was cracking up!

Rashida Jones ("The Office") was another cast member I was really excited about because she starred in an episode of Freaks and Geeks with Jason Segel years ago. While Jason played a similar character to the one he played back then in this film, Rashida's character in I Love You, Man was totally different and much more similar to the character she plays on The Office...only R rated.

and I am in LOVE! Coupontrunk.com is the site which I am talking about. I have found some great coupons which will save me hundreds of dollars in the upcoming months. First, I found Best Buy coupons. One in particular for Free Shipping on the Pre-Order of the upcoming Zune HD really intrigued me, since I do plan on purchasing the Zune HD.

The second group of coupons I found is what truly excited me...HP coupons. If you've been following my tweets on Twitter, then you know I am selling my Macbook and am in the market for a new Windows based laptop (HP being my first choice!). I found coupons which could save me up to $300 on the laptops I have been eyeing, so I am extremely happy about saving massive amounts (in my house, $300 is MASSIVE) of money being saved.

Rembrandt Whitening Products {Review & Giveaway}

A couple of months ago, I completely switched to Rembrandt for all of my oral care needs. The company was incredibly nice and sent over a bunch of products for me to try, such as:
* Rembrandt 2-Hour Whitening Kit
* Rembrandt Plus Premium Whitening Toothpaste with Peroxide
* Rembrandt Toothpaste for Intense Stains
* Rembrandt Whitening Mouthwash with Fluoride
*Rembrandt Mint Whitening Strips

Now, I'm not a smoker (never have been), but I DO drink a LOT of soda which has brought my teeth to hell in a hand basket, so to speak. The Rembrandt products I tried out, really DID get rid of the nasty yellow stains which were forming. My favorite products by far were the Whitening Strips and 2-Hour Whitening Kit because I saw nearly instant results. I can't say or sure, but I think they worked so great because I was pairing them with Rembrandt mouthwash and toothpaste as well.

I know the mouthwash and toothpaste are doing SOMETHING because I can feel the burn each time I use them! It hurts to be beautiful, right? That's what I always heard. It's not as horrible as it sounds, believe me. It is also mint flavored so that takes away a ton of "ickyness factor" right there.

If there is one tip I can give from using these Rembrandt products the past couple months, it is this: When you run out of the Whitening Strips or Whitening Kit, buy more! Buy them quickly, because unless you're giving up soda (or smoking, if that is the case) you will see those stains reappear very quick. I'm not saying you need to buy them both over and over again, but choose one and stick with it. I, personally prefer the whitening strips because you just set it and forget, whereas the Whitening Kit involves a bit more work.

MolliCoolz Shakers {Review & Giveaway}

A few weeks ago, I received a box of MolliCoolz Shakers. I had the opportunity to try all four flavors: Cookies & Cream, Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry. These shakes are incredibly easy to make and more importantly...DELICIOUS! They have since become an official "must buy" item when we shop at Wal-Mart, where they are sold for the price of 2 for $3.00 in my town.

I love all of the flavors to be honest, but prefer Chocolate, Vanilla and Cookies & Cream flavors because they go great with some Hershey's syrup poured in. My only complaint would be that the Shakers do require more than 30 seconds of shaking, for me anyway, which is what the package suggests. My fiance, on the other hand, only needs to shake for 30 seconds...so it may just be a matter of strength.
I treated Leland to a few bites and/or sips of the MolliCoolz Shakers and he really liked it as well and was practically begging us for more like a little puppy dog. This will definitely be a treat I will approve of for him. Once he is older, he can make these himself, I can just imagine him having a blast shaking it himself. Even better, I won't have to clean anything up since the drinks come in a container you can drink the shake from! I LOVE THAT!

Yesterday...

I took the day off from blogging. Ben was off from work. Leland was at my Aunt and Uncle's. We cleaned our house ALL day and night! We are still not done unpacking...but much, much closer than we were the day before yesterday. We redecorated (or perhaps reorganized is a better word) our living room. It is now much more open and looks HUGE! Leland has plenty of room to crawl around, without us having to look behind a couch to see what he is getting into. That's a relief! We also got one of those gates to separate the kitchen from the living room, although I can not for the life of me figure it out. I'm either doing something wrong or the walls here are VERY uneven, if that make sense.

I plan on blogging over the weekend, trying to catch up with some reviews. I have piles of things to write about! Come Monday, I will be taking another day off. Why you ask? My little guy is turning one!! Oh my gosh! I can NOT believe it has almost been a year since I gave birth to him. It feels like it was only yesterday that I held him in my arms for the first time.

In some ways, I am getting baby fever...wanting to have an itty bitty baby in the house again, but then I remember that I would have to stay home most of the time, all by myself, with two children. And I just don't know if I can handle that. Also, I really do want to start college once Ben is done in about a year, so I would hate having a newborn because I would miss out on all those special first moments. Besides, I really don't think we could handle it financially right now. I think realistically, it would be best for us to wait at least five more years to have another. We MIGHT be ready by then.
