I’ve been wanting to join Media Buys Coach for awhile now, but I just never had the time. However with Will offering his special May birthday deal for $99 a month, I thought it would be a good time as any to check out the site. For those that don’t know, Media Buys Coach is another coaching site run by Will and Carl Fiorentino that aims to teach you everything you need to know about succeeding with media buys. It basically follows the same PPC Coach format, so you have coaching support, and a forum with monthly methods and techniques. In this Media Buys Coach review, I’m going to give an overview of the membership and what you can expect from it when you join.

If you are a PPC Coach member, you may already know Carl as DavBit on the forums. He was one of the more well known members and his quit my job, fulltime ppc thread is one of the most read posts on the PPC Coach forums with almost 22k views and 180+ replies. Carl is a media buying expert and does a substantial amount of volume every month, and if you have ever listened to some of the webinars he’s put together, you can tell he knows how to teach this stuff.

First of all, what are Media buys? Basically in this context, we’re talking about buying banner ads on high traffic websites. You can do Media buys by contacting site owners directly or going through a network like Traffiq. There’s a huge amount of traffic that is available for you to buy, if you only had the knowledge of how to tap into it. Media buys is big business, and some super affiliates are making $100k/day on buying traffic alone.

Once you log on to the Media Buys Coach site, you’ll probably want to check out the forums first. At the time of this Media Buys Coach review, there are about 1000 threads, 6600 posts, and 350 members on the site. Forum activity wise, there really is no comparison to PPC Coach. In my limited time as a member, I see the forums typically get about 2 or 3 new posts a day. Still Carl and Will are quite active on the forums and anyone who asks questions will get an answer. I’ve also talked to some other MBC members and they say that Carl is very responsive when asking questions. You can ask him newbie questions or advanced questions, and he will answer every single one of them. You just need to ask!

For your first month at Media Buys Coach you’ll learn a couple of important things. First, Carl has written up a great guide on how to do direct buys with website owners. It’s a step-by-step writeup, and includes everything you need to do to get up and running. You’ll also get his thought process very well, so make sure you read through everything a couple of times to get everything down pat.

The second thing that’s taught in the first month is how to get yourself setup with an ad server. Although you are free to use any ad server you want with your media buys, Carl has a preferred one that he shares on the forum. Carl also has a special deal for Media Buys Coach members that allows you full use of this ad server for free for the first month. Will has also put together step by step videos on how to setup yourself up on with this ad server, so even the most technically challenged person can follow along and get setup fairly easily.

If you want to make really big money as an internet marketer, media buys is one of the best ways to do so. The thing about media buys though is that there really isn’t much information out there about how to go about it. As you can imagine, not many super affiliates are willing to share their secrets and that’s what makes Media Buys Coach such a potentially fantastic resource.

A Media Buys Coach subscription normally cost $199 a month, but if you signup during the month of May, you can lock in your membership at $99 a month. If this price seems high to you, then you probably aren’t ready for media buys anyway. I would suggest just sticking with PPC Coach until you’ve built up a big enough budget to start exploring media buys. But if you can afford it, and are just looking for a way to get started, I would definitely suggest taking a look at Media Buys Coach. Think of it as an investment that will pay you back many times over in the future.
