Tip to the faint of heart, our next Indian wedding highlight is rated R, as in highly romantic, so make sure that you have some tissues handy! When I first watched this film I couldn’t stop gushing about the adorable bubbles, the extra looooong limo, and the bride’s exquisite sense of style. But after watching it a few times, I realized that the spectacular element I couldn’t contain my excitement over was actually the music, shots, and editing of the film by Lightyear Studios. Grab some chai Maharanis and get ready for some New Jersey Indian wedding fun! What a fabulous way to end the week!

Our first love story by Filmtwist Productions shows that love knows no boundaries….literally! These two met across the Atlantic when this charming groom fell in love with this beautiful bride on Shaadi.com. There are SO many details that I love about this day like the modern mandap designed with clean lines and the bride’s one shoulder reception blouse, but the thing that I love the most, is the love behind the day!

Pinterest is my newest obsession! Anytime I have a few spare moments, I hop on and start pinning the dreamy images away. So, the only thing missing from my Pinterest fun is all of you, so I am inviting you to collaborate on a Pinterest board with me today!

I’m so sad that we’re almost done with this fab-u-lous wedding, but to make myself (and all of you) feel better, at least we still have the reception! From the dazzling eyeshadow to the purple, pink and gold bangles, I just knew that Maharani Seetal was going to look amazing. And then I got my first look at her outfit and I was completely blown away. I love the mix of the dark velvet purple against the lighter purple and gold trim in the outfit. That cake, the candle centerpieces and the purple/pink light shining against the Chicago Cultural Center’s ceiling is beyond amazing and created an atmosphere that was both elegant and fun, leaving plenty of space for our awesome couple to dance the night away with their family and friends!

Maharanis, I hope you had as much fun as I did watching this beautiful wedding complete with a gorgeous couple unfold! Congratulations to Seetal and Bharath from everyone here at Maharani Weddings!

There’s nothing quite as awesome as seeing a groom get down with his closest family and friends during the baraat. Everyone’s already excited, but dancing to the beats of a dhol definitely helps get the adrenaline pumping, of course while they’re fist pumping and doing the lightbulb! In the previous post, I mentioned that the photos just keep getting better and better and after seeing these photos, I know you will most definitely agree with me. Seetal and Bharath’s wedding ceremony took place at the Chicago Cultural Club and I’m not joking when I say that my jaw dropped when I saw the space. With such expansive, beautifully artistic ceilings paired with a simple yet elegant white mandap, it’s almost as if this couple is getting married in the clouds!

Um, don’t you just LOVE their sleek ride behind them? Just like our couple, it’s modern and elegant with the perfect Indian touch.

It’s time for a short break but I’ll see you in just a bit with a finale like you’ve never seen before!

You know, this Indian wedding just keeps getting better and better with every photo by Tara Sharma Photography, but we’ll first start with the invitations. I love these because they look elegant and modern with the artistic designs adding the perfect Indian touch. Maharani Seetal is just the same with her colorful red, green, silver and gold chudis, matching perfectly to the intricate detail on her stunning bridal outfit. She’s the modern Indian bride with her off-white bridal outfit, fitted with just the right amount of green, gold and red work to make her positively shine. One would think that standing next to a Maharani that beautiful, our groom would simply go unnoticed. Nope, don’t you worry, that’s definitely not the case! In his off-white sherwani, Bharath does quite well holding his own next to Seetal, but the best is when the two are in the photos together because that’s when their love absolutely glows!

I was right, wasn’t I? The photos just keep getting better! If you don’t believe me yet though, just wait til you see the next set of shots, coming soon!

Good morning Maharanis! I woke up this morning bursting with excitement for today’s Chicago wedding because I absolutely, positively love Tara Sharma Photography. Her beautiful photos never fail to bring a smile to my face and I’m always scouring her Facebook page to check out her latest photos. Today’s amazing couple’s engagement photos are also on the Facebook page and needless to say, I can’t get enough of them. Maharani Seetal is an absolute beauty and her handsome stud, Bharath, isn’t too bad on the eyes, either! However, if I thought their engagement photos were to die for, you should have seen my expression when I saw the Sangeet’s! This event was filled with intricate mendhi designs, colorful bangles, an elegant diamond necklace with earrings to match, lots of dancing and a fun and stylish couple about to begin their lives together! What more do you need!?

After this Sangeet, I’m going to need a quick breather. Meet me back here in just a little while to begin the wedding ceremony!

With all the gorgeous Indian weddings that come across my desk, can you blame me for wanting to have a wedding every single year? Well, if I get my wish in 2012, I might have to use this New York Indian wedding reception as my inspiration. Not only did the bride’s pink and green lengha blow me away, but my heart stopped with I saw the giant blue orchid bouquets against the vibrant purple lighting. Craig Paulson Photography captured the festive mood of this delightful dinner & dance and but my very favorite shots are of our beaming bride and groom!

Looks like a great party! Congrats to the lovely pair!
