Sammy ought to be in pictures now that he joined forces with Graham Entertainment. The Nashville/Los Angeles based talent agency will represent Sammy’s ventures in the film/tv/commercial industries. Past clients of Graham Entertainment include The White Stripes, MTV, State Farm, Vanity Fair, and Toyota.

Hickory Illusionist Sammy Cortino Performs At The Nashville Film Festival

(NASHVILLE, Tennessee — April 26, 2012) Hickory was in the limelight at the prestigious Nashville Film Festival this week. It’s been only six weeks since Hickory Illusionist Sammy Cortino made the Music City his new base of operations. The 23-year-old made his commercial debut at the Nashville Film Festival Wednesday. Lee Ann Womack and Nicole Kidman were among the star-studded festival’s attendees.

The Nissan-presented festival, which took place April 19-26, screened films from all over the world in Nashville’s Green Hills area. When asked how exactly he added magic to the VIP event, Cortino says, “I did magic tricks with food: I was working next to a caterer and was able to incorporate edible magic into the night.”

The illusionist has other tricks up his sleeve for Nashville later this summer as he ventures to become a staple of the entertainment industry in America’s #3 boomtown and begins to prepare for his 3 week North Dakota residency coming up in August.

Sammy is currently producing a new magic-music fusion show geared specifically for smaller music venues. It will be a 60-75 minute, stripped down version of the illusion show all backed to music.

In an effort to adapt to Nashville, he will incorporate live music with magic and dance. There are talks of Lyndsay singing in this show….maybe even Sammy. More at you as this develops!

Illusionist Sammy Cortino To Perform At The Nashville Film Festival

(NASHVILLE, Tennessee — April 17, 2012) It’s been only six weeks since Sammy Cortino made the Music City his new base of operations. Now the 23-year-old illusionist is gearing up to rub shoulders with the likes of Nicole Kidman as he makes his commercial debut in the Nashville Film Festival. He’s performing the last night of the star-studded event at the VIP premiere.

The Nissan-presented festival, which takes place April 19-26, will screen films from all over the world in Nashville’s upscale Green Hills area. When asked how exactly he will add magic to the festival, Cortino says, “It’s Top Secret. I can tell you it’s going to get people at the festival talking and I’m thankful to be partnering with C&K Catering and Entrée Nashville to make this a reality.”
