Ok, before I go ahead let me first start off straight away by apologising for not posting for the last few weeks. It so happened that I had some really bad stuff happening leaving me with absolutely no time to focus on the blog. Anyway, whatever has happened is over now and I am recovering and trying to adjust to the way things are so here I am with another post about my favourite Madhuri Dixit Bollywood Actress.

The event is the premiere of Mithun chakravorty’s son Mimoh’s launch vechile Jimmy. Now, although this event took place in early 2008 I just found these pictures fantastic, Madhuri Dixit in Saree looking stunning as ever. As you can see Madhuri is adorned in blue aqua chiffon Saree with cheetah print with bright orange embroidered flowers, and orange brocade borders. Fantastic stuff!

Now, if you are just joining us at this post let me tell you that this is blog dedicated to one of my favourite actress of all time Madhuri Dixit. Dayavan is a 1988 Hindi remake of the very famous Tamil movie called Nayagan, directed by Mani Ratnam, which starred Kamal Hasan. The movie starred Vinod Khanna, Feroz Khan and Madhuri Dixit in lead roles. The film had a famous kissing scene between Madhuri and Vinod.

I just loved Madhuri Dixit's acting in this movie, I think perfect example of stealing the show under everybody's noses.

Hum Aapke Hain Koun...! (Hindi: हम आपके हैं कौन, Urdu: ہم آپ کے ہیں کون, translation: Who Am I to You?) is a 1994 Bollywood film directed by Sooraj Barjatya and one of the most successful Bollywood films ever. The film is a story of two Indian families and the relationships between them, celebrating Indian culture using modern production values. It is noted for its lavish depictions of North Indian wedding ceremonies. Its soundtrack, including an unusually large number of 14 songs, was scored by Raam Lakshman. Hum Aapke Hain Kaun stars Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit, two of the top Bollywood stars of the 1990s. The film was very influential and inspired young filmmakers such as Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar. It was dubbed into Telugu as Premalayam. Madhuri Dixit won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress and was also nominated in the same category for her critically acclaimed performance in Anjaam which was released that same year.

Koyla (Devanagari: कोयला, Nastaliq: کوئلہ; translation: Coal) a Hindi movie which was released in India on April 18, 1997.

It is directed by Rakesh Roshan and stars Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit in their second film together, Amrish Puri, Himani Shivpuri, Johnny Lever, Ashok Saraf and Kunika. Mohnish Behl is featured in a guest appearance. Hrithik Roshan, director Rakesh Roshan's son, worked on this movie as an associate director.

The second half of this movie is loosely based on the Kevin Costner starrer, Revenge.

don't forget to visit Madhuri Waterfalls when visiting Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh...

don't worry, you read that one right. There is actually a waterfall known as Madhuri Waterfalls in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. I was quiet pleasantly surprised when I came across this article promoting Tawang on the thaindian website where amongst all the scenic description of the region there is a mention of this particular waterfall.

Its actually the Jang waterfalls, locally known as Madhuri falls, as the Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit shot for her film “Koyla” here, they are said to be worth a watch. Unfortunately there are no pictures attached to the article and hence one can only imagine about it but here's another must see for Madhuri Die-hard fans out there. eNJOY!

found this amazing HQ Madhuri Dixit video of the title song from the movie Aaja Nachle. The movie was a comeback of sorts for Madhuri but did not do too well on the box office unfortunately. Here's a bit about the movie :

Dia (Madhuri Dixit) is a divorced mother living in New York and must go back to India after she receives news that her dance guru is on his death bed. When she arrives in Shamli, a small city in western Uttar Pradesh, she finds that he has died and left her the responsibility of saving and reviving the Ajanta Theater where she used to dance. (In reality too, there is an Ajanta Theatre in Shamli which inspired the writer of the film).

The problem is that the political leader (Akshaye Khanna) wants it torn down and turned into a shopping mall. The storyline follows Dia and her challenge to stand up for what she believes in and fight the cause to the end, while trying to win back the love and support of the people of the town whom she walked out on ten years ago.

just a quick update friends, don't forget to watch Khel On Sunday, June 21, 2009 at 10:30 pm IST on B4U Movies. Its another cool Madhuri Dixit - Anil Kapoor pair flick.

Here's a bit on the movie: Sulakshana Devi is extremely wealthy and equally arrogant. Her son Ravi dies in an accident and later a woman meets her to tell her that she had been married to Ravi and is carrying his child.

Sulakshana throws her out but later comes to know that she had been telling the truth. But no amount of searching enables her to locate her dead son's wife and grandchild.

Many years later, Arun Kumar (Anil Kapoor) arrives there with a plan to pass off as the old woman's grandson. Will he be able to succeed? And will Sulakshana Devi ever come face to face with her grandchild?

found this awesome moving gif file of Madhuri Dixit from Yaarana Madhuri. Yaarana is a movie Madhuri Dixit did in 1995 and it did not do too well. Rishi Kapoor played the main lead opposite Madhuri in that movie. Madhuri looked fabulous in most of the movie (note the emphasis on most, as some bit were so atrocious I'd rather not comment) and her dance was exciting as usual. here are some amazing high quality (HQ) captures and Madhuri Dixit Video Songs from Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam. I think Madhuri Dixit looks gorgeous in this song. Although the film did not do too well in spite of having 3 of Bollywood's biggest stars (Madhuri Dixit, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai (in a special appearance)) I thought Madhuri Dixit's performance was excellent as usual.

It is the story of Radha (Madhuri Dixit), who loves three men: her little brother Prashant (Atul Agnihotri), her best friend Suraj (Salman Khan) whom she knows since childhood and her husband Gopal (Shahrukh Khan), whose jealousy towards Suraj and disapproval towards Prashant continually grows. The movie is K.S. Adhiyamans debut in Hindi, a remake of his own directorial in Tamil, "Thotta Chinungi". It took six years to complete.
