Today we talk a bit about me. Though I write in English and I am Italian, I live in Paris. To be 100% frank I ADORE Paris, so take my words about Paris cautiously.

Yesterday I participated to a very interesting video contest to get the chance to drive the new Chevrolet Spark in Athens. Sounds quite cool, doesn’t it? In the beginning they were looking just for journalists but I suppose it is much more fun to enlarge the competition to other people. So, to introduce myself, I will publish here the video we posted on the video contest.

I take it as an excuse to introduce me to you, after all, you have seen only my picture here.
It is about my girlfriend Gaia and me on a Skype video-call. We felt it was quite an original way to introduce ourselves. Wish us good, I wouldn’t mind to win!

Here we come, just back from the event organized by the Consorzio Vini di Romagna (Romagna wine association) in Dozza at the Monte del Re hotel, on the hills of Bologna.
They arranged 30 buyers to come down to Italy from all over the world and 30 producers of the Romagna area – plus a few from Tuscany – to show their products.

This formula was a success, there is no other way to describe it. You could schedule up to 20-25 meetings with high-profile importers and agents and have the chance to accurately go through your whole range of products and your strategies to market them. It is so much more focused than a fair.

Not surprisingly Madeinmilan wines caught the eye of the buyers around and of some other producers.

Romeo was particularly appreciated for its structure and, despite being a sweet wine, for the light tannins.

First, a huge sorry for having been away for such a long time. Many travels and campaigns have driven our attention away from this blog, we will do better in the future, we promise.

Second, and most important, we announce that we will present our Madeinmilan wine Brutus at the workshop “Le Terre del Sangiovese”  in Dozza (BO) on 6/7 November 2009. Together with other producers, we will meet several buyers from all over the world interested in Sangiovese. We are looking forward to it!
