With aim towards generating quality traffic and user engagement to the Luxury Retreats website, the role of Site Editor, Social Media Specialist will involve generating website, database marketing and offline content that is consistent with the Luxury Retreat’s brand platform and voice. The role will also involve the building and execution of social media and viral marketing strategies that will build alternative channels of traffic, user engagement and affinity for the website. Beautiful property in excellent location with great amenities!
If you are planning a small family wedding and need a venue that accommodates everyone from elders to infants, this is your place. Beautiful home with much room to spread out for at least ten people. Super clean, great decor, lovely gardens, pool and spa, fantastic views – sunrise to sunset. Flat, grassy area for weddings, including a tiled raised area for ceremony overlooking the Bay Course at Kapalua. And in case of rain, the vaulted ceiling great room is an elegant alternative space. So you have accommodations, wedding and reception venue all in one! What a value in one of the most beautiful places on Earth! Beds are very comfortable – all the towels and linens you could ever need. Great laundry room. Large kitchen with loads of dishes, cooking needs, and appliances, wine frig and bar area. Highly Enjoyable Stay in a Superb Location
We had a wonderful week in Maui at the Pineapple Pavilion. The location in Kapalua proved to be excellent, with easy access to some of our favorite places. Since the weather was bad the first couple of days, we spent a lot of time on the property, and the home was very well outfitted. We cooked many meals there in the gourmet kitchen, swam in the pool and played board and card games. With the golf course right there, the backdrop was spectacular, and with binoculars we were able to see whales from the back yard. We walked to the beach from the property. - Sally G., January 2011

Pineapple Pavilion is exceptional!
The Pineapple Pavilion was beyond our expectations! Beautiful, clean, inviting, comfortable, and it certainly had all of the amenities we could ask for. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. My husband and I were in Maui for our wedding, and we had our immediate family staying with us. Nine people total and still lots of space for everyone! Luxury Retreats’ Villa Specialist, Peter Cheasley (2009 & 2010 Condé Nast Villa Rental Specialist Award Winner), has teed off on many of the Caribbean islands. “You hear a lot about golf in the Caribbean.  Mostly from renowned courses like Sandy Lane’s Green Monkey in Barbados and Pete Dye’s Teeth of the Dog in the Domican Republic, but there are two gems that don’t get enough credit.  Provo Golf Club in Turks and Caicos and the Temenos Golf Club, Greg Norman’s Championship design, in Anguilla.

Provo Golf Club offers a great test for all levels.  Generous fairways, small and fast greens, Provo G.C. has all the makings of a championship course.  From the back tees, it stretches to 6,705 yards and when the wind picks up, you need to play all the shots.  They have a great 19th hole, the pro-shop is fully stocked and if you’re not traveling with clubs, they have brand new Taylor Made rentals.  I loved it!

Temenos Golf Club, Anguilla

Temenos Golf Club is brand new and it’s a beauty.  Great views of St. Martin, full pro-shop, driving range and sure to be a premier course in the Caribbean in no time.  At 7,063 yard from the back tees, this is a tough test of golf!  The greens are fast, undulating and well guarded but the fairways are wide.  Temenos is more for the avid golfer and not so much for the first time player.  I had a great day of golf but my bag was lighter when I left!”

In the last couple of months, we've received a lot of great feedback from our guests who have recently stayed at Sweet Spot, Jamaica. Located on a white sandy beach, Sweet Spot is definitely a guest favorite. Its remarkable beachfront location is the best of all worlds: a 6,000 sq.ft. private home with a huge lawn and beach, just yards from the Breezes Golf Pro Shop which offers unlimited complimentary green fees to Sweet Spot guests.

The Sweet Spot is even sweeter than the pictures.  The house was fabulous and we were all very impressed with the superior attention to detail and the fine upkeep of the facilities.  The staff was friendly, helpful and un-intrusive.  We very much valued the help we received from Marilu in securing a priest to come to the house for a special celebration mass/vow renewal for our parents.  Thanks for the great memories,

Fantastic – it has everything we needed and staff were great. The villa was wonderful – a perfect size for 12 couples to have big enough communal spaces, but diverse enough spaces so you could be independent as well – great beach, pool, garden, staff.  Overall a wonderful experience in a well equipped and designer villa!  Very helpful too was Marilu in pre-planning everything which made the whole experience exceptionally smooth!

Two grandparents, their three children & spouses (and one of their mothers) plus their four grandchildren made for a lively, fun-filled Christmas vacation in Jamaica.
