BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Steel Operations Coach, this person builds required steel door units maintaining accuracy, product quality, and required build standards.

Specific Duties: Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:
• Build for store orders, ensuring accuracy and product quality
• Maintain required build standards
• Lift at least 70 lbs.
• Use various pneumatic tools
• Meet accuracy and performance standards for all assignments

Millwork Specialist - Shipping -WI-Janesville

The person in this position will work as part of a team to ensure trucks are loaded accurately and efficiently. The main responsibility is to check and load finished product onto trailers, using documentation to verify accuracy. The person in this position must be able to identify, count, and load product in a very timely manner, and must be able to understand procedure for efficiently packing a trailer to capacity. The Shipping employee will be expected to operate a scanner and understand reports to ensure proper loading. The Team Member must be able to lift 50 lbs.frequently, and 75+ lbs. occasionally. The person in this position must have the capacity and willingness to drive a forklift. The person in this position must be willing to rotate through various tasks within the department, as well as rotate through other departments of the building to perform other duties as assigned.

SC Optimization Senior Analyst -NC-Mooresville

The Supply Chain Optimization Sr. Analyst (SCOSA) is responsible for captaining all optimization activities within their given product teams, usually a Merchandise Division. They must be the Supply Chain experts, performing various types of optimization analysis, understanding both Supply Chain theory and then practically applying both the theory and analysis to the products/vendors for which they are responsible.
The SCOSA is also responsible for directing Lowe’s internal supply chain, completing complex analysis regarding channel selection, inbound and outbound ship units, freight modes, Replenishment Program constraints/DOS and line review support. The SCOSA must be able to manage multiple projects, work across multiple functions and have advanced communication skills to achieve their targeted supply chain savings goals.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• SC Optimization Team Captain:
o Captain all Supply Chain Optimization analysis within the SCOSA’s assigned area (usually a Merchandise Division).
• Determine the complexity and scope of each Optimization need/request to determine which model/tool to use as well as determine if there is a need for additional support from the central analytics team.
• Prioritize queue of optimization needs/requests
• Communicate optimization financial results to the impacted product teams
• Escalate optimization results not meeting expected PLR outputs
• Request additional assistance from centralized SC Opt analytics team where needed (due to size, scope or time provided)
• Guiding centralized SC Opt analytics team on specific optimization support requests.
• Provide access to all input data required by Optimization tools
• Provide timeline for completion of analysis
• Responsible for leading the Business Intelligence Meeting to transfer product/vendor specific knowledge to the centralized team prior to analysis
• Review output from centralized team to ensure that it meets the needs of the specific product area and Lowe’s corporate guidelines
o Primary point of contact (for Merchandising, Logistics, Transportation, Distribution, etc.) regarding product flow or optimal system/RP settings for a given product category, usually Merchandise Division.
o Managing coordination of programs through the distribution network. This includes:
 Coordinating new programs with Network Optimization to ensure capacity exists to handle program.
 Item addition/change process with DC Operations
 Captains the New RDC Process – item identification, etc
 Resolving inventory flow issues at the RDC’s (ex: vendor shipping wrong master carton quantity)
o Update IMM1 logistics data based on PCM alerts, sample room audit results or vendor communication.
o Assist vendors with basic inquiries on how to support Lowe’s
o Responsible to work with Transportation and the Logistics Audit and Packaging Compliance group in the RDC’s to ensure freight optimization.
o Escalate tactical safety stock management concerns for restatement of MADSS or forcing zero safety stock with lead time variability issues.
o Providing Line Review support by attending Line Review meetings and leading vendor comparison scenario analysis prior to final vendor decision.
o Managing the DC Service Area Change process. Communicating and assisting Merchandising and Logistics team members in identifying programs that will require resets or a different method of distribution due to service area changes.
o Identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities to improve product flow and reduce cost. Maintain a project portfolio on supply chain improvements and cost reductions.
o Maintains a working knowledge of Lowe’s transportation and inventory management processes and systems.

Analytics:
o Determining the optimal channel of distribution (store direct, RDC flow, Transload, etc) for assigned products (domestic and international), reviewing results of analyses with Logistics and Merchandising teams. Implementing option chosen as most cost effective and efficient. Communicating to Inventory Planning Team and Transportation to ensure that programs are set up to order with the correct freight method.
o Establish & maintain Optimization Review Calendar by product category to identify key timeframes for different Optimization analysis (safety stock setting changes, seasonal RP reviews, SPM settings, etc.)
o Identifying opportunities for Import Items (Factory Consolidations, etc.)
o Performing on-going evaluation of ship units to identify opportunities to increase turn and ROI. Using best practice methods to assess ship units for DC inbound and outbound and store direct channels.
o Performing comprehensive annual review of all programs to identify cost savings opportunities
o Reviewing output monitoring analysis to ensure that expected results were attained.
o Direct the Replenishment Execution team on specific RP setup instructions (including, but not limited to constraints and days of supply) for all primary RP’s.

Required Qualifications:
• 2+ years Forecasting, Replenishment Planning or Inventory Management experience in a high velocity industry.
• Bachelors degree or 3+ years experience in Supply Chain Operations.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 1+ year experience as a SC Opt Analyst.
• 1+ years experience as a Forecast Analyst.

Night Shift Position

The purpose of this position is to safely manufacture high quality products to specifications, while meeting or exceeding productivity targets. Team members may have different roles or positions in the millwork facility, such as: warehouse, receiving, shipping, interior or exterior. They work together to ensure that the product ordered by the store or customer meets their specifications, has no damage, and gets to the store by the due date. Some of the tasks performed by team members involve operating machinery, power tools, or power equipment. A team member may be assigned to receive and put away stock using power equipment, assemble product using machinery or power tools, or load outbound trucks using power equipment.
The activities performed by Team Members are instrumental in a facility achieving or exceeding key performance indicator metrics.
