The Applications Consultant provides expert advice and counsel to IT personnel and project teams on the most complex aspects of applications programming. This is the technical expert in applications programming, having demonstrated independent work in the design of complex, major modules and multiphase programs, and knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of systems, peripheral devices, and the most sophisticated programming techniques. The Applications Consultant develops the most complicated design specifications and provides consultative guidance to project teams on their execution. The Applications Consultant evaluates new technologies, develops departmental standard practices, and evaluates performance of software systems and recommends changes to increase operational effectiveness.

Production Service Manager -TX-San Antonio

The Production Service Manager position is responsible for the management of the infrastructure deployment and operational portions of the solutions portfolio, including the definition, management and organization of all related program and project activities. The Data Center Manager I typically works very closely with one or more IT Engineering, Solution Delivery and Information Security Groups within IT to deliver software, hardware and other aspects of the solution via multiple projects and programs. This Manager is also responsible for maintaining relationships with other IT groups which contribute in the delivery of the solutions to the business. This Manager works closely with IT organizations in managing project resources, resolving change requests and issues, and ensuring deliverable quality, timeliness, and budgets are being met. This position is responsible for managing a team of engineering professionals responsible for the design, engineering, implementation, and support of the Technical Infrastructure, and the installation and support of the hardware and software infrastructure at one of the Corporate Data Center locations. This individual directs the activities of the staff to support the services delivery of software and hardware that meets Lowe’s strategic business requirements. This person is responsible for leading a team conducting level II break/fix troubleshooting, hardware troubleshooting, vendor management, and operations analysts. Basic Function of the Position:
The position is based in Mooresville, NC. The ESM Project Manager is responsible for developing and implementing multi-year roadmaps for Enterprise Systems Management (ESM) processes. The position will design and deploy tools and processes for Event Management, Availability, and Performance Management through the use of Enterprise Monitoring Tools. The purpose of this position is to perform basic system operation duties for the IT infrastructure at a Lowe’s Regional Distribution Center. The incumbent in this position monitors system performance and integrity, installs system hardware and software, performs preventive maintenance, system backups and equipment repair. They will analyze and respond to problems, referring more complex problems and issues to the Supply Chain Service Desk. This position will function in a continuously-operating production environment and acts in accordance with Lowe’s ITO operating principles.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Director, IT Service Delivery Planning -NC-Mooresville

The Director, IT Service Delivery Planning is responsible for leading the planning of activities related to the IT Service Delivery functions as defined by the ITIL IT Service Management (ITSM) framework as well as leading the Service Support functions of Change and Release Management. Responsibilities of the incumbent include planning and execution of IT Service Continuity Management (Disaster Recovery), IT Service Level Management, and IT Change and Release Management.
