Great headline writers have a certain off-the-wall character that can&amp;#8217;t be taught and isn&amp;#8217;t easy to explain. They also have talent. It surfaces at the Low Down, although the paper doesn&amp;#8217;t have a monopoly on puns, tongue-in-cheek groaners and the community-standard scatological.
