Bunk Beds: Best for Limited Spaces!

It’s always been my daughter’s dream to have a separate room of her own and be realized her Princess themed room decors as well as the furniture and fixtures. Since she is still sleeping with us in one room, all she does is always reminding us to start the building construction of our newly bought lot. Well, because of my little girl’s continuous reminders, we are about to begin the construction in 2 months time.

As part of the plan, we are considering our daughter’s desire to have a bed bunk of her own because she really wanted to have a stairs on her bed. :) Good thing that she chooses such beds because it can really save space and that we can maximize also the available floor space since we just had a limited area. By the way bunk bed is a type of bed in which one bed frame is stacked on top of another or also known as the double deck which allows two people to sleep in the same room.

Now, we are so busy looking for designs of bunk beds for kids, not just for my daughter but for my son too. I guess my little girl would surely love this....

I found this so useful because it does not only serve as s bed for her but it has a place to study and a place to organize! Another feature about this bed is you can customize the decors once in a while if you feel like you’re already bored about it. Cool huh! Well, not just kids who’ll love it but me as well. :)

Another surprised bouquet of flowers I got from my hubby yesterday! Actually, it was really a surprised one because he planned not to join me for our lunch that day because he was so busy at work. Tadaaa.... lunch time came and here he was with the red roses and gave it to me with his sweetest smile. I asked him what's this all about? A pre-valentine rose or what...he then whispered to me that it was his belated birthday flowers and at the same time our monthsary. Woottt....so sweet my hubby is!

I guess that would be so impossible if we would be able to experience winter here in our country because we do have two seasons only- the wet and dry! I am some kinda’ jealous that I myself wanted to experience such like any other ones who are enjoying~ like my friends who are living miles away from us. To some they enjoy it much while the others hate it because they could not bear the coldness outside their homes.

Anyway, my friend may it be winter or not she has no problem about it. Being so fashionable makes her always be excited on what would be the trend as the seasons change. Just this evening I treat my hubby, daughter, bro, sis and cousins for a movie treat. Actually, this was just the continuation of my birthday celebration yesterday. We opted not to watch the Dinosaur's Alive because it's not worth it to pay the said cost so we preferred the movie treat! We really enjoyed the movie Journey 2 ~ The Mysterious Island...I really gave a two thumbs up for that movie. I really love Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock so much!!!!

Perfume Collector

Some people loves the scent of a perfume while others are not! But we can apply exemptions in here maybe because to some they don't like the not gentle or shall we say mild-smelling scents instead they'd prefer the mild, pleasant and sweet smelling scents like me. :) Actually, I do love perfumes but I am not a collector of it but my sister does. She has different kinds of scents from expensive down to cheap perfume. Me? Well, I am just a waiting for her donations. :)

Last Christmas, she received another sets of fumes from her admirer.Wow so sweet of him! Another addition to her collections indeed!

Last week hubby and I together with our daughter went to the malls to look for a pair of boots. We happened to enter a boutique that sells cowboy boots and that hubby wanted to be back there again because he also wanted to have one. :) Anyway, back to my daughter's request until now we haven't bought her one because it's too expensive and that her feet nowadays are growing so fast. We are still looking for a cheaper pair and that of good quality as well.

Don't worry my dear because mommy and daddy would really buy one for you like the one you fit-in last week...Just be good in school! But for my hubby, better buy it yourself! lol

Traffic Jam?

Yesterday I was with hubby and daughter, while on our way to the mall our car suddenly stopped in the middle of a downhill road. We thought it's just a short traffic jam but it took us 15-20 minutes to pass on the other side of the road. Only to find out that a certain vehicle broke down but sad to know that there were nobody lend a single help for them. Cops? security guards? nor even a roadside assistance club were there. I hope the mall would take an eye of a situation like these so that by next time it will not create a very long traffic jam for the shoppers.

They want such because they wanted to help sick people and so on and so forth but in my daughter's case is different, she wants to be a doctor because she loves wearing a medical uniform like she always saw from her pedia and my ObyGyne. So funny! But anyway, I know for sure she will be able to fulfill what she dreamed-of so soon if she will just entrust everything to the Lord. Just keep going my dear lil D!

Volunteers: Transfer the kindness to the victims in Philippines

Last December 27, 2011 I happened to read a post in FB that Wholesale City is looking for volunteers to do the transfer of kindness to the flood victims of Typhoon Sendong (Washi). Immediately I left a comment on their thread that I am interested to do the helping action, aside from I really want to help, it would be much easier since I came from the same city. Fortunately Ms. Chen Wang of Wholesale City choose me as one and I am so thankful for her.

After 10 days I already got the package....

But hey...don't you know that the Bureau of Customs were giving us a hard time in receiving the relief goods? They wanted us to pay for the taxes as well as the storage fees and that they were requiring us with lots of proofs that it was really relief goods since the clothes were all brand new. Since we don't want to pay any single centavo on our end, we seek for help from a family friend and thanks God, with the help of Ate Grea and her friend (who paid for the storage fees) the boxes were released for shipping.

A week after we received the box, we decided (volunteers) to distribute it despite we are experiencing a not so good feeling (I having coughs and colds while Judy having a fever). We don't want Wholesale City fans to regret on us in delaying the distribution of the 75 clothes. We went to the area yesterday and we are so happy to see those victims with a smile on their faces as they pick up the clothes that fits them.

Actually I just had my online interview few hours ago...It was a job that I applied days ago as a virtual assistant, actually they were offering a good pay but I was really put in a dilemma whether to grab it or not because of the working time. They wanted me to work with US time, so does it mean I will be working at night time? Well, I really like my work but I don't like the time. :(

Maybe I should try another employer now! I know God will surely give what's my heart's desire. :)

After the tragic occurrence that happened over the weekend, we decided not to pursue the Pool Christmas Party that we planned for our division. We've come up with an agreement that we wanted to give the foods intended for the party to be given to those who were greatly affected and to those who need it most. Aside from that, their pool was damaged due to the raging flash flood that hit our city at that time that is why they are ongoing of renovating their pool using the raypak boilers and heaters. I guess it would take that long that is why we cancelled the reservation as early as now.

I guess everyone here are gravely concerned for all those affected by the devastating calamity that occurred in Northern Mindanao over the weekend. Typhoon Sendong (International name: Washi) and its subsequent flash floods relentlessly hit not just in Cagayan de Oro but Iligan City as well. Neighboring towns, affecting over 60,000 families and claiming almost 1000 lives, with over 100 people still reported missing. With the death toll still rising, thousands of people seeking food and shelter, and river systems, infrastructure and homes severely damaged, the people of Mindanao will need all the aid they can get as they try to recover from this tragic blow.
