Food Spa Spotless Packaging Design

Spotless by Food Spa, a health brand, was developed by a team of scientists to help individuals achieve their health and fitness goals. The packaging design was created to highlight the naturalness and premium nature of the products.

“The “Spotless” product line was developed in collaboration with scientists and is aimed at helping achieve personal health and fitness goals. Smaller and larger boxes of the products are available for one or four-week programs. Each box contains 7 or 28 individual packets of the product for the utmost consumption convenience. In addition, the products contain only natural ingredients for the highest nutritional benefits.”

The packaging

Food Spa combined its efforts with Craft Mark Studio, a Kaunas –based design agency, to create the packaging designs for Spotless. In addition to creating the packaging designs for the brand, the creative studio designed the logo for the brand. Apart from the use of bold colors, a section of the label is dedicated to the goal countdown, which adds richness to the overall design.

“We’ve chosen rich and solid base colors and enhanced them with abstract background ornaments. Also, we decided to use bold and exquisite typography, making it one of the main accents of the design.

Various interactive elements, such as a goal countdown checklist placed on the side of the product packaging, add some extra oomph to the overall design and make the product more fun to consume.”

Nutrio Packaging Design

Supplements come packed with numerous advantages: from the body absorbing enough nutrients to managing weight to improving cognitive abilities, the benefits of supplements are manifold. Nutrio, a health supplement start-up, is looking to leverage the power of vitamins and supplements by targeting students, office workers, and sportsmen in Europe and North America.

In addition to creating the packaging designs, MarkaWorks worked on the branding of the supplement start-up.

“The Solutions: To build a strong association with vitamins and supplements, we created a logo emblem in the shape of a pill. The typography for the logo was made with capital letters of a classy font type to create an affirmative feel.

The colors we selected are vibrant pastel shades that represent different meanings and have various associations. It was done purposely for the differentiation of product groups by colors.”

The packaging

MarkaWorks, the Antalya-based creative studio, created the attractive-looking packaging designs for Nutrio. In addition to using a two-color palette for each product, the design studio used typography in sync with the branding.

“For the packaging design, we came up with a two-color palette. The packaging details and product information were also highlighted in the same color we picked for the specific product to create a positive and dynamic look.”

Safo Dessert Packaging Design

Safo, a dessert brand, recently announced the launch of its products in two countries simultaneously: Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Safo’s offerings are unique and stand apart from the crowd in terms of the products it manufactures. Safo offers high-quality desserts by combining the best of both worlds in its products, traditional oriental delicacies covered with milk and chocolate!

The packaging designs reveal the uniqueness of the products by illustrating the chocolate-covered oriental delicacies on its labels.

“In the packaging design, we revealed the composition of the product as much as possible, showed a juicy filling in the form of dried fruits, nuts or other local delicacies, and demonstrated how chocolate evenly covers the surface of the filling.

Thanks to realistic 3D modeling, the packaging visually conveys the entire composition of the product in just one picture.

For easy navigation, we used color coding so that customers could easily find their favorite flavor.”

The packaging

Safo combined its efforts with Minim Brand Design, a Tashkent-based creative studio, to highlight the uniqueness of the products through the packaging designs. In addition to highlighting the chocolate-covered local delicacies, Minim used bright and vibrant colors to attract customers and increase the shelf value of the products.

“Product packaging has been made in two different variations — one for a small pack, and another for a bigger one. In this version of the pack we provide customers with not only easy color navigation, but also with a transparent part that clearly shows the content of the packaging.

All in all, a bright, colorful and user-friendly packaging design will support the product in a new market, making its unique advantages even more noticeable for the customer both in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.”

Plantation Rum Isle Of Fiji Packaging Design

Isle of Fiji is a new line of drinks created by the award-winning company Maison Ferrand. Plantation Rum is an artisanal collection of drinks created by the award-winning company. Plantation Rum procures ingredients from various islands and celebrates them on its packaging labels. Isle of Fiji is the latest from Plantation Rum that celebrates the richness of the Fiji Islands.

“From the pristine lagoons to the lush jungles, Plantation Isle of Fiji is an ode to the beauty of the Fiji Islands. This delicious rum is made using traditional techniques and local Fijian sugar cane. First aged in this tropical climate in bourbon casks, the rum is then sailed to the southwest of France for a second maturation in French oak casks. This double aging method paired with Fijian know-how creates a rum with warm notes of exotic fruits and raisins.”

The packaging

Maison Ferrand teamed up with The Rooster, a Pasadena-based creative agency, to create packaging designs that would highlight “the very essence and beauty of Fiji Islands.” The design agency created attractive illustrations inspired by local flora and fauna of Fiji. In addition to highlighting the Lau banded iguana, the packaging design includes images of hibiscus and a blue parrot.

“Using vivid tropical colors – various shades of blue and fuchsia hues – we created a visual invitation to exoticism immediately conveying the ‘island’ feeling, reminiscent of what one may feel standing on a beautiful Fiji Island, under the sun.

The disruptive label shape, overwrapping the bottle but leaving the edges not properly overlapping, evokes a locally handcrafted effect.

The emblematic squat Plantation rum bottle and the raffia sleeve, a tribute to the history of rum, both Plantation Rum’s signature elements, eventually add the last layer to this new tropical offering.”

Green Love Packaging Design

Green Love is an eco-friendly brand that manufactures home cleaning products made from natural ingredients. Green Love products are safe to use daily to clean and maintain the hygiene of the house.

The brand wanted to reflect the benefits of using an eco-brand through its packaging design.

“It was necessary to find insights to create an emotional connection with the consumer, reflect the attributes and advantages of an eco-brand in the design, increase brand awareness in the federal marketplace and the attractiveness of products for consumers, show an eco-friendly approach to product creation, a careful attitude to the planet and all the functional and ideological advantages of the brand.”

The packaging

Green Love combined forces with Depot Branding Agency, a Moscow-based design house, to create packaging designs that would reflect the naturalness of the products. The branding agency did thorough research and found that people were more interested in buying eco-friendly products but did not have the time to read the packaging label. Taking clues from their research, Depot Branding Agency created packaging designs that would communicate Green Love’s eco-friendly attributes.

“Therefore, it was decided to make a completely green package, with a great logo occupying most of the front space of the package. The logo’s lettering is inspired by the delicate interweaving of leaves and the gentle curves of branches, showing delicacy and care.

The dominant green color symbolizes natural strength, reminding of pleasant sunny meadows and endless fields.

The design is simple and at the same time inspiring, encouraging you to love yourself, the people around you and the planet.”

HomeTown Dairy Packaging Redesign

HowmeTown, a new Indonesian brand, is all set to capture the dairy market segment in the country. One of the unique selling propositions of the brand is its products. The brand only uses freshly procured dairy products from farms with a healthy level of pasteurization. While the company boasts of manufacturing high-quality products: it is facing major roadblocks in terms of visibility on the shelf.

“But over time, there are several obstacles faced by HomeTown, one of which is not easy by consumers to recognize HomeTown products on supermarket shelves. Of course this is a problem in itself considering the competition in the milk market in Indonesia is so tight.

Face to face with several global competitors and big local companies, of course HomeTown must change the face of its packaging to be relevant to the competition and the market.”

The packaging

HomeTown partnered with Widarto Impact, a Trenggalek-based creative studio, to create packaging designs that would enhance the shelf value of the products.

Eko Widarto, the creative director, wanted the packaging to scream the product’s USP while maintaining the brand’s core personality: “simple, clear, and fun.”

“We chose Pantone Blue 072C as the main color to replace the previous blue color which often inconsistent. This blue color is also one of the points recognized by customers.

We highlight the statement “100% Pure Fresh Milk” as a point of view of HomeTown’s new design label with a combination of cow farm illustrations.

Overall, the HomeTown label’s new design looks artisanal, youthful, and modern. This is to connect with HomeTown’s target market, namely young families, especially young mothers.”

Ovos Do Dia Packaging Design

Studio Cadmus, an Acaraú-based design agency, was responsible for creating the corporate identity and packaging design for delivery boxes of different sizes. The name of the brand, Ovos do dia, was inspired by Loja do Dia—a Portuguese market involved with buying and selling tech products and services.

“When we start the day, we need to be well fed to face great challenges, so starting the day well-fed is of paramount importance, and knowing that, we have the egg, a food that, in addition to being versatile and easy to prepare, contains numerous benefits. ‘It helps in increasing muscle mass and, because it contains antioxidants, such as vitamins, selenium and zinc, it delays aging, improves the immune system and helps in the prevention of diseases.’”

The packaging

Studio Cadmus had a minimalist approach when creating the branding and packaging designs for the egg sellers. The packaging highlights the brand’s attributes by illustrating its primary product, eggs. In addition to placing a hand-drawn image of a hen on the label, the design agency beautifully worked on showcasing eggs in a spiral form, depicting movement.

“The idea was to create a minimalist brand that well represents the brand’s attributes, with fluid strokes like the yolk and white (fluid), forming a spiral that represents the movement and shape of an egg, and a symbol that refers to the sun and movement, characteristics of the services provided by the brand.”

Packaging Design: Mädchen Wein

Mädchen Wein teamed up with the Berlin-based design agency, Franziska Böttcher Studio, to create packaging designs that would highlight the power of conversation. The wine brand recognizes and celebrates beautiful conversations with our girlfriends.

“A glass of wine can make a good talk become a great one. This wine is for all those great talks with our girl friends – the sad and the happy ones, the silly and the serious ones, the calm and the furious ones. For all the situations life throws at us: new and lost loves, good and bad work days, new adventures, old wounds and great celebrations. It’s not an „a girls make cute wine for girls“-wine. It’s a wine with character for real talks between real women. A true Mädchen Wein (girls wine).”

The packaging

The design agency used a combination of red and pink, which gives the brand a contemporary touch. Furthermore, the grid of red lines makes the brand look more serious. The typography compliments and accentuates the look of the beer brand.

“On the label pink and red are coming together in a vibrant, fun and very contemporary way. A grid of fine red lines adds structure to the design and gives it a more serious and grown up look. These elements are accompanied by bold yet elegant typography that is full of character and strength – embodying the strength of all the women coming together having these wines. A small and lovely detail is the golden seal that says „lots of love inside“ – referring to the craft and devotion of the winemakers as well as to the friendships the wines are lucky enough to witness.”

Sagobe Beer Packaging Design

Sagobe, a cold brew beer brand, is extremely popular with Russian navy sailors who spend a good part of their lives on long sea voyages. Sagobe Beer is made using craft recipes from Vietnam and enhanced using cold brewing techniques. The beer is known for its multilayered flavors: cool in the throat, bitter when you take the first sip, and a long-lasting “sweetness on the palette.”

“That taste brings interesting experiences and could be combined as a journey across the sea of the sailors to explore new lands on the other side of the ocean. For this reason, Bracom team used beautiful images of naval soldiers strutting on ships at sea to draw the main picture for the overall packaging design of the product. We hope to share a little taste of the sea to the drinker every time they take a sip of Sagobe beer.”

The packaging

Sagobe combined its forces with the Ho Chi Minh City-based creative company, Bracom Agency, to create packaging designs that would easily communicate the brand identity to the customers. Each flavor is assigned a unique color that lets the customers know about the kind of beer they are about to consume. The simple packaging design is attractive and enhances the shelf value.

“As the main touchpoint to connect with consumers, Sagobe’s packaging was raised up to be the spotlight of the whole identity. Turning the constraint of fixed material into advantage, so much effort has been put on to create the eco-friendly and yet user-friendly packaging. Every decision on using any key visual was seriously considered to make the packaging look cool and booming from the outside. The full set of products includes 4 kinds of boxes to hold: 4 cans, 4 bottles, 24 cans and 24 bottles, all dedicated to Sagobe’s consumers.”
