<p>I get lots of requests to release my textures in various formats, whether it be high-res vectors or Photoshop brushes. Today, I thought I'd try out a sample pack of grunge brushes on you guys to see how you like them. These were all created from textures I've released here on <a href="http://lostandtaken.com">Lost and Taken</a> or <a href="http://bittbox.com">Bittbox</a>. The brushes are as high-res as they get, measuring 2500px on the long side.</p> <p>Below there is a preview of all ten brushes, just click on any of the images to download. If I get positive feedback I'd like to start incorporating brushes and vectors into the freebies that I release here on Lost and Taken. <p>I've been working on a lot of side projects lately, if haven't been able to tell. Often times I get emailed by Lost and Taken readers who have the urge to share their own textures with the community, so I thought it would be cool to make a gallery where anyone and everyone can submit and share their textures with the creatives on the internet.</p> <p>The site is very simple, both in concept and design. <p>Last April I posted a set of <a href="http://lostandtaken.com/blog/2009/4/17/a-little-dirty-8-subtle-grunge-textures.html">8 subtle grunge textures</a> and it has been, by far, my most downloaded texture pack this year. If you guys liked that post, then hopefully these light grunge paper textures will come in handy as well.</p> <p>Also, I wanted to get some input from you guys: would you rather me post frequent smaller texture packs here on Lost and Taken or huge texture packs less frequently? I'm kind of leaning towards starting to post more frequently (3-4 times a week) but with smaller texture packs, around 3-7 each....in my eyes that would inject more variety into the textures here, while still remaining useful.
