This is a great card that is easy to duplicate.  I love making the monochromatic cards but you can easily add another color to add to the variety.

The blue is called ISLAND INDIGO.  The other color is called CALYPSO CORAL.  Both of these gems have coordinating BAKER'S TWINE which wraps around the project and adds a great embelishment to it.

We did this project at our monthly STAMP CLUB.  Join us next month!!

We started by wheeling a design across the bottom of the white layer.  Then added a scrap of cardstock (1/2") to make that crisp line.  The sayings on the ISLAND INDIGO cards are from the CURLY CUTE SET.  That is one of the many sets that is retiring at the end of the month.

The flowers on the projects are punched with the BOHO BLOSSOM PUNCH.  You get three flowers with that one punch.  For the CALYPSO CORAL project I used the same color for all three layers on the flower.  But notice the ISLAND INDIGO has a WHITE layer for the middle layer.  Add a PEARL to the top layer and you have your bling!
This next card can easily be used for GRADUATION cards...so I added the stars with the SILVER GLIMMER paper.

I have been having fun making these for graduation.  We did this project at Stamp Club this month and they were a hit.  Thanks to my friend Dianna for giving me the idea in the first place.

HOW TO MAKE IT:  Lick an envelope shut and then cut off both ends of the envelope.  Fold the envelope in half and use two DIMENSIONALS to hold it together.  Look below...you have two little pockets (one for the money or the gift card and one for the "Labels Collection Framelit" that I stamped the saying on.)

I used the designer paper pack called PARKER"S PATTERN (p. 20 Spring catalog).  It is a great package of paper that has a masculine feel to it.  Take a look at the variety I got from it.

We used a variety of ribbon to coordinate with the colors and added a button at the top.

Okay so it has been a while that I have posted about the family.  We are busy with life...and loving it!

Joe was Society Max in the production of Guys & Dolls.  Their performances were fabulous!  So proud of the entire cast for putting on a show like that.  Our school is "small" in numbers but boy did we produce a great show!

Adam was in the 6th grade production of A Technicolor Dream.  He played one of the "unbelieving men."  We got a good laugh when we saw him for the first time with his facial hair drawn on!

This is a wonderful day to celebrate ALL women!  I believe that all women have that natural instinct to be motherly to anyone who needs it.  I thank God for blessing Tom and I with two wonderful children. There was a very long time when we thought we would not get that experience of being a parent.

Most of all, I thank my own mother who was the most loving, Christian, peaceful mother to us all.  She truly was the perfect example of what a mother should be.  Here we are in 1969.  My youngest sister is not born yet.  I am the one wearing the red dress.  Aren't we a lovely sight?
