Aggie Basketball Starts Tonight

Good news for Logan Sports Fans. Aggie Basketball has begun, and the first “game” is tonight, and for free, (plus there will be free stuff provided by Macey’s). Aggie basketball still is the most popular event for Cache Valley Sports Fans.

Utah State will be holding its annual Blue-White scrimmage at 7 o’clock. The doors open at 6:30 and admission is free. The event is presented by Macey’s.

“It’s always a fun night,” Aggie junior forward Brady Jardine said. “We need to come out and act like it’s practice. We need to come out and not get caught up in the fan stuff, but just go to work and get better so we are ready to go on Saturday.”

Saturday would be the first exhibition game of the 2010-11 season. The Aggies host Universite Laval at 7 p.m. in the Spectrum, where trick or treating for kids in costume will be available on the concourse.

It’s Hot in Logan – But No Lawn Watering in Mendon

The temperatures in Logan Utah have risen, and the fresh “green lawns” all over Cache Valley have started to brown up. If you don’t want your lawn to die, you need to water them.

Well, for many residents of Mendon Utah, this is now against the law. Mendon City has apparently had some issues with their wells, and are restricting yard watering until further notice.

Good luck Mendon Residents. Hopefully you will get your water soon.
