Liz just returned from Garland, Texas for the Academy of Western Artists (AWA) Award ceremony. Roads to Colorado, Liz’s latest CD won Western Album of the Year. Liz is joined by her friend and Grammy award winning guitarist, Mike Dowling. His impeccable taste and mastery of the vintage instruments provides the heartbeat of the album. Each song in this collection is given the perfect pulse. Superb back-up by her Denver-based band-mates and friends on Dobro, mandolin, fiddle, accordion, and acoustic bass enhance Liz’s sparkling vocals. Seems like spring is upon us. We have 12 inches of snow here in Denver with more expected. The calendar says spring and it’s time to book your entertainment for the spring and summer.
