Greetings Everyone ,

I some kind of way locked myself out of my blog and have been all this time trying to remember enough info to recover it ... thank God I remembered some info to recover this blog .. A lot has happened in the time i was away , but nevertheless we will unfold all that as we go on into the year , many blessings to everyone who continue to visit and support .

Snail Mail

Any body remember when we used to get all our mail

delivered by our faithful hardworking Mail Person

through the old fashion mailbox called Snail mail ?

(cause it came so slow ...compared to a text or email that is )

now everything is directed deposit or on a debit or credit card.

We now live in the electronic computer , microwave age , whether we baby boomers

were ready for the new transition or not . too funny!

Written letters are becoming a dying art ,forget a thank you card ,

this generation gives them out before you leave

or they send you a text message or email ..

What if you don't have a gadget , cell phone or computer ?

You have to rely on your grandchildren or a trusted young person ...

oh well , It could be a message in a bottle , taking days, weeks , months, years or never .

On that note ....

The Surprise

During lunch at work last week, I ate 3 plates of beans ( which I know I shouldn't ). When I got home, my husband seemed excited to see me and exclaimed delighted: " Darling I have a surprise for dinner tonight." He blindfolded me and led me to my chair at the dinner table. I took a seat and just as he was about to remove my blindfold the telephone rang...

. He made me promise not to touch the blindfold until he returned and went to answer the call.

The beans I had consumed were still affecting me and pressure was becoming unbearable, so while my husband was out of room I seized the opportunity, shifted my weight to one leg and let one go. It was not only loud, but smelled like a fertilizer truck running over a skunk in front of a garbage dump! I took my napkin from lap and fanned the air around me vigorously. Then shifting to the other leg, I ripped off three more. The stink was worse than cooked cabbage. Keeping my ears carefully

tuned to the conversation in the other room, I went on releasing atomic bombs like this for another few minutes.

The pleasure was indescribable! Eventually the telephone farewells signaled the end of my freedom, so I quickly fanned the air a few more times with my napkin, placed it on my lap and folded my hands back on it feeling very relieved and pleased with myself.
My face must have been the picture of innocence when my husband returned, apologizing for taking so long.

He asked me if I had peeked through the blindfold, I assured him I had not. At this point he removed the blindfold and twelve dinner guests seated around the table with their hands to their noses. >>

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Who the Son sets free is free indeed , so what really does this mean in our own personal life, let us if you may keep it real and let toss this ball of thinking around a bit,I hear a lot of people quote this verse of scripture, but yet there walk is so far from their talk , You see Charles Stanley once said and I refer to this passage many times over in my own life, " A free man thinks and walks different than a man who is a slave or imprisoned. When you are free you don't act like you are bounded or imprisoned by people inflicted or self inflicted problems or cares of this world , you walk in freedom with a hardy gait in your walk , that just responds in Joy and peace without you opening your mouth, people see your light in your forehead ! A man that is bound is always fault finding, always has excuses, in the military it is yes sir, No sir and No excuse sir pure and simple , yet a bound person is carried about by his or her own selfish spirit thinking its all about them and pardon my "french " the hell with others. A bound person is always on the defense, a good portion of this conversation is who is out to get them, how wrong they were treated , always blaming someone else instead of look n at the man or woman in the mirror, We say as Christians we are free and I am sure for 2 hours on sunday you are, but as the last amens and bendition has been said and soon as church let's out and we walk out the door to our cars we pick up our keys of bondage and slowly put back on our prison clothes, the word we heard has taken no root, miracle grow couldn't stimulate that root to grow, why because God is tired of Christians playing with the Lord and playing Church, come to church on sunday and act like the devil as soon as you get into the car , all while you are putting your key in the ignition. Yet you say you are free ....we live in a time now when every false idol , is being. Exposed and torn down, God sees the tears of the poor weeping lambs and he will sent judgment upon the Candle sticks with no flame and upon the wolves in sheep clothes. So the next you quote this scripture who the son sets free is free indeed make sure your walk and your talk walk hand in hand in deeds, with signs following , exhibiting agape love one for another without respect of person , just preferring the God in you ! We must serve God in love, Charity begins at home and spreads abroad......remember its yes sir, No sir and No excuse sir, they've all been nailed to the cross ! John 8:36

My Gray Hair is Dancing Wild and Free

I am loving and embracing my new found season of life , that have ushered in my gray hair , which is coming in one strand at a time .... since I have turned 50 + doing it's own dance.

For years I have been able to tame it with combs, brushes and not to mention the perms , relaxers, cremes, dips,,hair rollers,hard and soft, curling irons, straighten combs, blow dryers, ultra sheen , soft sheen all kind of products that have come out at Sally's hair supply to keep my hair looking reasonable good.

Now low and behold after all theses years of being in control and subsuming to the will of the brush and comb, my new gray hairs has taken on a role , a life of its own, no matter what I do to my hair, it does its own thing ,

it won't lay flat, or stay in a beautiful curl, when I try to curl my hair , meanwhile when I walk away from the mirror, it just freeformly does its own dance , it sticks up , like a silver out of control curl, it is freely dancing to this new season of life,

So after many unsuccessful attempts to gain control , to no avail, I have finally accepted the fact that my gray hair strands are rebellious and they just plain going to have their own way.

Low and Behold, I have also decided and come to the conclusion , that my graying hair really exposes my true personality, its wild, its has a crazy praise , its carefree and most importantly its loving life.

My graying hair is not conforming to any rules of good grooming, I relax it, curl and brush my shoulder length hair to a beautiful vision of loveliness, but when I walk away from the mirror ........

It laughs at me , it reverts to a free form style , especially around my forehead and temple area, its wild , its sassy, its free and its loving life !

Everyone have a Happy Easter weekend , and start embracing the things we have no control over...( laughing ) starting with our out of control free form graying hair ..

All winter our life is dormant, snuggle in , we are like in a cave trying to maintain and stay warm, just like bears ...but when the warm weather come , the birds start singing ,

the earth start stirring, thawing out under the radiant sun, the tulips start rising up , becoming more beautiful , as it sways under the goodness of the sunlight .

On that same token , we as human we throw off the heavyweight covers of the winter
our bulky coats that have keep us warm all winter long , as you cast off the weight of winter , cast off your trials ,

tribulation and all the things that have beset you and caused you problems and anguish this winter, Spring is a time of new beginings , a fresh start ....
