Everton Football Club still remain confident The Kirkby Project will be approved by the Government giving Everton the freedom to build a 50'000 all seater staduim in the Knowsley area.
Meanwhile in the blue corner KEIOC (Keep Everton In Our City), also remain optimistic the move will be scrapped and any move to Kirkby would actually be no good for the future of the club anyway.
KEIOC are of the opinion that Everton board's wish to relocate to Kirkby is more conducive to the future wellbeing of Tesco and Knowsley than the future wellbeing of the club.

The decision on Everton FC's proposed plans to build a stadium in Kirkby is likely to be anytime now and our good friends at Paddy Power have given us some interesting odds for the big debate.

You can study odds and facts all day long but some things are just meant to be.
Take last week for instance.
Who would of thought former Manchester City captain Richard Dunne towering over former Aston Villa skipper Gareth Barry to score the first goal .

European misery for Merseyside men

Liverpool travel to the picturesque city of Florence tomorrow hoping the of the pitch activities at the Italian club can prove a major distraction for their players.
Despite winning four of their first six and sitting just two points off the top of Serie A, La Viola are in a bit of turmoil off the pitch with president Andrea Della Valle standing down before hitting out at the local media for attempting to cause unrest.
But Fiorentina sit fourth in Serie A having won four of their last five to nil while they are unbeaten at the Stadio Artemio Franchi so they will provide a stiff test for Rafa Benitez's side.
Top scorer Alberto Gilardino is suspended so the onus will fall on Stevan Jovetic to provide their main threat.
Liverpool have problems of their own with Javier Mascherano and Yossi Benayoun both sidelined through injury.

If Evertonians want a dream trip to Hamburg in May they will need to get past unknown quantities like F.C Bate Birisov to get there.
They travel to Belarus on Thursday in good form but F.C Bate will be no pushovers as was proven with their results in Europe last season by taking Champions League points of Juventus and Zenit St Petersburg.

Last night Everton all but booked their place in the Europa League stages without the hindrance from a certain Joleon Lescott.
Lescott's next club Manchester City won't exactly be taking Europe by storm this season, will they?
Perhaps Evertonians may even bring back a few duty frees for him, who knows ?

Lescott's mind and wallet is firmly in Manchester at the moment, and with the "will he or won't he" saga taking another dramatic twist this morning, bookies are certain where the 27-year-old will be after the transfer window.

Carragher, Skrtel, Agger, Woodgate, King and Dawson have all been struggling for fitness of late and with the total strike force of 60 goals in last seasons premiership, its got all the credentials of a goal feast in the capital.
