2011 marks the 20th anniversary of rock band L’Arc-en-Ciel. After releasing a three-part compilation album and a special 20th anniversary live concert, the band now continues their yearlong celebration with their first single of the year Good Luck My Way. The elegant, upbeat rock tune is also being used as the theme song for the latest Fullmetal Alchemist feature film!

First Press Edition includes Metropolis – 2011 by P’UNK-EN-CIEL as B-side track. It also comes with a bonus DVD with the Good Luck My Way music video and a L’Arc-en-Ciel sticker (one randomly chosen from eight available styles).

Based on a popular comic series from the author of Nana, the film version of Paradise Kiss is one of the most anticipated films of 2011. Singer/songwriter YUI, a fan of the comic herself, was picked to write and perform the two theme songs for the film. In addition to the opening and ending theme songs – Hello – Paradise Kiss and You – the single also includes a new acoustic version of It’s My Life.

YUI – It’s My Life Single

Just two months after Rain, singer-songwriter YUI continues a busy release schedule with her first 2011 single. This time, both It’s My Life and Your Heaven on the double A-side single will be getting wide exposure as theme songs of two major ad campaigns, respectively. The cheerful It’s My Life will be in a series of ads starring Mukai Osamu and Shibasaki Kou, while Your Heaven will be the latest theme song for a set of portable music player commercials that YUI has starred in before. The single also comes with the acoustic version of Rain.

First Press Edition comes with a bonus DVD.
